01/03/2026: La Mamma in Rotofreno was a guarantee for me, unfortunately last night it wasn't like that. The gratin fish appetizer was tough scallops, the gratin tasteless and not at all crispy. The potato-crusted sea bream was flavorless and full of bones. The table service also got worse; the bread was brought after the appetizer, the main course... but the cutlery never arrived... The waiters pass by but don't look at the tables, so if you need anything you have to make an effort... I'm sorry, but €138.00 for food like this...
06/12/2025: I think it deserves the highest rating because the food was quality, reasonably priced, and generous portions. I recommend the seafood. I haven't tried the pizza. Friendly service and a quality atmosphere.

02/01/2026: Trattoria located in the center of Gropparello.
I tried a plate of cured meats with giardiniera, which was good and plentiful; the pisarei e fasò was neither good nor bad; and the plum tart was delicious.
The service was friendly and the bill very fair, but the atmosphere was unfortunately cold despite the lovely fireplace.

18/10/2025: A simple and authentic farmhouse nestled in the greenery of the Val d'Arda. It's easy to find, even if the maps aren't very accurate. Excellent traditional dishes and wine at bargain prices. The owner is friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone visiting the area, even just for sightseeing. Highly recommended!
18/09/2025: A "simple" yet surprising agriturismo! The remote location may already be charming, but the food is decidedly like grandma's Piacenza cooking—in a good way! The tortelli immediately took first place in my personal (and 40-year-old) ranking of restaurants in the valleys. The owners are friendly and kind.

14/11/2025: The roaring fireplace made dinner even more satisfying.
"Thursday Bortellina" and so it was:
I'd never eaten it before, exquisite pizza dough made with flour and fermented water, strictly fried! A delicacy, accompanied by local cured meats and typical cheeses... not to be missed.
The owner/cook was extremely courteous and friendly, the trattoria is family-run... we were very satisfied.
The perfect dinner for those who love simple, authentic flavors.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the dinner excellent, and the service impeccable. We lacked for nothing. Thank you for everything; we'll definitely be back ❤️🤗

Delicious food, young, fresh yet knowledgeable staff, very polite and professional!
Fairytale decorations... They truly made me feel like a princess!
The owner, Micaela, is so sweet, serious, honest, welcoming, and has absolutely nothing negative to say!!!
Oh, I forgot... The location... Truly a fairytale!

11/03/2026: I came today around 11:15 PM, the girls were very kind and helpful!
The piadina (belpaese) was cooked perfectly and very good. The only flaw I found was the unlistenable music! Come on, I'm not talking about Queen, but at least something decent!!!! That's why I gave the atmosphere 4 stars. 🌮🌮😛😛🤣

20/12/2025: I called to order two takeout pizzas for 8:30 PM.
I show up to pick them up, and at 9:10 PM, there's not a trace of my order.
In front of me, people have been waiting since before. This would be understandable if the place were busy, but it's not.
Unspeakable.
It's a shame because the pizza isn't bad, but I definitely won't be back given the wait, and it's not the first time.

17/02/2026: I have just one word to describe the food experience in this restaurant: "disgusting". The duck had a bitter flavour and it was like eating cardboard. The place was almost empty for dinner. No menu available, they bring what they call a "degustazione" menù of their choice. You can only choose whether it's seafood or beef. It only consists of two entries and left me with plenty of appetite for something more to eat, but not here.
It's a shame that such a restaurant can operate in one of the most culinary renoun regions of Italy.

The menu is varied and caters to a wide range of tastes. Service is fast and friendly, with no unnecessary waits. A convenient place to eat well in Piacenza, whether for lunch or dinner.
The focaccia is top-notch!
