24/04/2025: Family-run restaurant where you feel at home and the quality of the raw materials is the most important thing. Courteous staff attentive to customer needs. Typical local dishes, cooked with experience, which make you travel back in time. The value for money is exceptional! Unfortunately it is far from our residence and therefore we cannot go there often. Applause to everyone and no less to Giovanni for his kindness. Well done!

23/04/2025: Ristorante a gestione famigliare dove ti senti a casa.e la qualità della materia prima è la cosa più importante. Personale cortese e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Piatti tipici del luogo, cucinati con 'esperienza, che ti fanno viaggiare a ritroso nel tempo. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccezionale! Purtroppo è distante dalla nostra residenza e quindi non possiamo andarci spesso. Un plauso a tutti e non meno a Giovanni per la simpatia. Bravi!

17/04/2025: It is one of those indispensable trattorias that you find in the Piacenza hills, perhaps even by chance. You're out and about by bike or on foot and the trattoria appears around the corner. They should be protected as if they were a social service. In our case (there were 4 of us), we arrived with e-bikes and ate some excellent cured meats as a starter (salami, pancetta and coppa), some cheeses to match, so whoever took the first course, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and whoever took the second course, duck with roast potatoes (excellent). The managers are very kind, they set the table for us outside even though it wasn't planned, but given the sunny day we wanted to take advantage of it. Coffee, water, beer, a bottle of Ortrugo, 20 euros.

16/05/2025: Complimenti, poca scelta ma tutto molto buono. I tortelli ricotta e spinaci perfetti: mi hanno ricordato quelli fatti da mia madre e mia zia, pasta sottile, ripieno equilibrato. Anche la carne buona. Bella vista, prezzo più che onesto.

13/03/2025: Esperienza molto positiva. Locale in posizione panoramica con vista sulle colline. Ambiente rustico, senza fronzoli, ma accogliente. Proposte tipiche della zona: salumi e primi (pisarei, anolini in brodo, tortelli davvero super). I secondi saltati perché già pieni, un posticino l'abbiamo trovato per i dolci, tutti fatti in casa. Accoglienza e servizio senza affettamento o finzioni: Carla e Lucia davvero brave in sala. Un plauso particolare per la Sig.ra Laura in cucina. Possibilità di acquistare prodotti dell'agriturismo a prezzi davvero sorprendenti. Nota particolare: cucina attrezzata per menu per celiaci.

18/05/2025: Sunday family lunch, restaurant 60% occupied. We order 3 pizza menus + 1 children's menu, easy. Positive aspects: everything EXCELLENT, prices ok So and so aspect: a bit too hot upstairs Strongly negative aspects: the service. Let me explain: the girls are very kind but there must be some serious misunderstanding between the kitchen and the dining room. We waited 40 minutes for the pizzas and the little girl's pasta arrived after another 10 minutes (common sense would dictate that the children should be served first but let's ignore it). Another half hour passes and they ask us if we wanted anything else. Of course.... the "famous steamed and then fried potatoes from Eataly for us and dessert for the little girl". Answer: they arrive immediately. Another 20 minutes and I ask Another 20 minutes and the French fries arrive - excellent but obviously we didn't want them anymore. Another 10 minutes and the little girl's dessert has NOT arrived. We leave (without dessert). At the cashier they ask us if we want a table... bye, it's ALWAYS US who were trying to have lunch for 1.5 hours and the girl at the cashier had already served us several times. Obviously we explain the situation and she tells us that she's sorry that she can't give us any discount (which we hadn't asked for, by the way). She offers to put the maritozzo with cream in a bag. C'mon. Great potential, excellent pizza and chips. But you only "ruined" a family lunch for us. We were "in a hurry" because we were waiting for a train. Next time a piadina and the fear will pass.

12/04/2025: We just had lunch with Mr. Giancarlo, what a man! Impeccable treatment and cuisine. Each dish is expertly prepared with self-produced 0km ingredients. The service is accompanied by a detailed explanation of the course and its ingredients. Below is the menu that we had the pleasure of tasting: • Typical Piacenza cured meats (bacon, coppa, 3 types of salami, bresaola, lard, lard pesto) accompanied by fried gnocco. • First courses: risotto (perfectly cooked), very soft pumpkin cannelloni, anolini in broth. • The second courses: pink point magatello, Angus tartare, polenta with gorgonzola/cotechino/stew, finally Florentine-style steak that melted in the mouth. Followed by the cheese table. • And finally, desserts cooked in a wood oven (sbrisolona, ​​fig tart and apple pie) + tiramisu. Despite the size of the meal (we were at the table for 5 hours), the excellent quality of the cuisine absolutely did not affect digestion. Honorable mention for the goodness of the meat!!! Absolutely recommended, excellent experience. We will be happy to return!
