27/11/2025: We sang spontaneously, without planning anything, with the Farini guys, whom we've known for a few years, because we were going to Ferriere. The atmosphere and vibe were truly spectacular. From 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, it was pure random madness. It rivals the best bars in Europe.

23/11/2025: A restaurant with the soul of a diner, the food is decent but not exceptional; I don't think anything is homemade. The decor is truly diner-like, the owner, I presume, is very friendly, but the waitresses are inexperienced and inattentive. Prices for first and second courses are good, but the platter is overpriced. The restrooms also need updating; they're dated and poorly heated. I didn't have a bad experience, but I won't be returning.

don't even bother to look at you. The first course was pasta pasticciata, no comment. The second course was boiled meat with peperronata, good price. Overall, I wouldn't go back.

17/12/2025: First time, definitely worth repeating, even though it was a business lunch. The variety of dishes on offer was excellent, the food excellent, and the staff friendly.
04/11/2025: The location is well-maintained and clean. The organization, courtesy, politeness, and friendliness need to be revisited. The price is a bit high for a business, but that's acceptable. Note, in particular, the rather grumpy older gentleman. If you have these attitudes, you'll end up paying 4.48. Obviously, take this negative review of mine as an opportunity to improve the place. 20/02/2026: I had the tagliata and it was good.
The service was sloppy, and the wait between courses was long.
It's a shame that after dessert, no waiter came to ask for coffee, so I had to go to the cashier, feeling impatient.
I also had to wait a bit there because there was no one there.
The atmosphere is very nice, even the idea of the karaoke.

01/12/2025: Very pleasant and welcoming ice cream shop. The interior is a little dated, but clean and tidy. A special brioche and cappuccino are a whopping €4.50, which I don't even spend that much at a pastry shop. Good, average breakfast, but the prices are a bit high.
17/08/2025: Enjoy delicious aperitifs and gelato in Monticelli d'Ongina. You can sit inside or outside under the portico.

We ate very well: we especially loved the appetizers, the first courses, and the desserts. Everything is homemade.
The wine, which they produce, is also very good.
The last stretch to get there is unpaved, but there are no problems getting there.
Highly recommended. We'll be back when we're in the area again.

We were craving typical Piacenza cuisine from a "real" agriturismo, so our friends from Ponte dell'Olio took us to Agriturismo La Canteina... it was exactly what we expected, and even more! Perfect location, friendly staff, and remarkable food (like a real agriturismo). We'll definitely be back, especially with our grandchildren, who can have fun in the abundant green space with the donkeys and carts.
