09/06/2025: We charged our car at the Tesla charging station next door and used the waiting time to have lunch. The staff were very friendly and polite, although it took us a little longer to order because we had to translate the menu. We had the lunch menu for 14 euros (water, pasta with meat sauce, mixed salad, vitello tonnato, bread, coffee) and were very satisfied. The vitello was fantastic, and the price for the entire menu is really very fair. The restaurant is clean and attractively decorated. We would definitely come back.

25/05/2025: An amazing place. I love a place like this where you can find some peace and quiet. The food is excellent, Federico is a helpful and welcoming person. If you have time and want to make a special day from Milan it doesn't take much. Time well spent. The tortelli with butter and sage are amazing. The salami is delicious

19/05/2025: Immerso tra le vigne dei colli piacentini, l’agriturismo Il Corniolo è una piccola perla per chi cerca autenticità e gusto. L’atmosfera è quella calda e rilassata di una casa di campagna, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. La cucina è il vero punto forte: un incontro sorprendente tra la tradizione piacentina e la cucina greca, in un connubio che funziona alla perfezione. Dai tortelli con la coda, alla moussaka con ingredienti locali, o ancora ai pisarei con la feta, ogni piatto racconta una storia di contaminazioni felici e sapori ben bilanciati. Il clima è familiare e accogliente: si viene trattati come ospiti di vecchia data, non come semplici clienti. Il servizio è cordiale, mai invadente, e sempre pronto a raccontare l’origine dei piatti e dei vini della casa. Un altro punto a favore è il prezzo, decisamente contenuto rispetto alla qualità dell’esperienza offerta. È raro oggi trovare un luogo che coniughi genuinità, buona cucina e prezzi onesti con tanta naturalezza. In definitiva, Il Corniolo è il posto ideale per una gita fuori porta (l'agriturismo ha anche alcune stanze per il pernottamento), una cena romantica o un pranzo in compagnia, con il valore aggiunto di una cucina che osa senza perdere le radici. I complimenti al cuoco, Federico e alla sua famiglia per aver creato questo gioiello nella campagna piacentina! Straconsigliato!!!

22/07/2025: E' sempre un gran piacere tornare al Barca, innanzitutto per la gentilezza e la professionalità del proprietario e del personale di sala (manca molto la signora che abitualmente accoglieva la clientela e gestiva il carrello dei bolliti, alla quale va il nostro caro ricordo). E' sempre un gran piacere inoltre degustare i salumi e i primi piatti della tradizione piacentina e i bolliti misti che oggi, però, non abbiamo ordinato a causa del caldo. Rimedieremo in autunno! Ampia scelta di dolci. Buon vino, un gutturnio della casa e prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. I nostri complimenti, come sempre!

19/07/2025: Cena in coppia in questo ristorante. è stata una piacevole esperienza Cibo eccellente, preparato con materie prime di ottima qualità che esaltano ogni piatto. Sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, che dimostrano grande attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è cortese, disponibile e molto attento, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con discrezione. Prezzi onesti per un’esperienza culinaria di livello. Consigliatissimo

05/07/2025: Let's start with the food. There were 6 of us and we ordered 6 aperitifs. For a proper aperitif it would have been normal to have 1 cutting board for every two people, instead there were 2, even if abundant. In addition, olives, chips and salted peanuts, theoretically should not be missing. Among other things, it would also be positive for the owner as the salty person then asks for another drink. The staff is friendly but the service is a bit slow despite there being only a few other people. The place is very small but welcoming, there is also space outside but with the hot air of these days it is better to stay inside. Rating 6 and 1/2.

04/08/2025: An excellent trattoria after a nice motorcycle ride. All the dishes are prepared with authenticity, you won't leave hungry, and the price is reasonable. While you eat, the view stretches across the mountains, and the tranquility reigns supreme.

20/07/2025: The dining room staff were not very polite towards customers. Ten minutes after we sat down, we called a waitress's attention because we hadn't received our menus yet. She, annoyed, made a gesture as if to say, "I'm busy, can't you see?" Let me explain: if a customer sits down without a menu, they'll wait twice as long because by the time you're ready to take their order, they won't have a clue what you're serving, and so another 10 minutes will pass. The ABCs of hospitality. Tortelli were good, pisarei could be improved, but adequate. Two coffees, water, two first courses. €33.80. Menu prices: tortelli €12, pisarei €9, water €2, coffee €1.40, cover charge €2. Total €29.80. Dancing €4. The ABCs of math (and honesty). I remember being here several times, even on weekdays when the menu prices are half off. So be careful, because depending on who you are, how crowded it is, and when you visit, you might unexpectedly have to pay more. For goodness sake, a €4 "tip" won't change my life, but frankly, this place has gotten worse and worse over the years.

04/07/2025: Coming to Bobbio I booked for lunch I took a trio of first courses, I must say that I am not an expert on Piacenza dishes. Maccheroni alla bobbiese excellent Pissarei and fasau good Pine nuts with porcini mushrooms, excellent pasta while for me the mushrooms were not exceptional (NB. I am a mushroom hunter) Good quality/cost ratio Informal atmosphere Recommended
