26/10/2025: We ordered at 8:15 PM. At 8:20 PM, the ravioli arrived just like that, thrown on the table without even having brought anything to drink. After 10 minutes, I asked for something and finally a drink arrived. At 9:05 PM, nothing. We're still waiting, but they give priority to takeaways, and a table with two people who had sat down 20 minutes after us were already at the cafe. At 9:15 PM, I get up and leave without having eaten anything. Terrible place, poor quality food, and incompetent staff. After going there for so many years, this was the last time I've set foot in there. NEVER AGAIN.

10/08/2025: The restaurant management has changed 3 times, and you can already see the difference! I've been there 3 times. The first time I saw on the order that my bill was €24.80, and at the cashier she told me it was €25, so 20 cents were taken for no reason. The second time, my bill was €30.10. I had no coins, and she absolutely didn't round it up to €30 (the first time she took an extra 20 cents for no reason, this time she'll round it up to 10 cents... no way). So, 30.10 cents. The last time, same situation, 28.80 cents, and yet she told me €29! Why...? It's not the cents, but that's not the way to treat customers, especially if it's new management and everything is done without a receipt. Then once, a free drink was €25, and now it's €35... Either there's a plum, or they don't know how to keep customers! If the bill is 24.80 and you don't even issue a receipt, round up to 24 and don't take money without reason, as many have already noticed this maneuver and ABSOLUTELY don't like it!

25/08/2025: A truly unique atmosphere: over the years, they've put a lot of effort into the exterior. Recommended for a romantic and exclusive dinner, but it's also a lovely place for aperitifs.

06/09/2025: Unfortunately, the piadina is preheated, the prosciutto is poor quality and large, and the place leaves much to be desired. Everything suggests that cleanliness is lacking, both in the front and back. The owners are helpful and quick with their service, but I wouldn't return.

03/09/2025: The piadina is delicious, and the porch is convenient for eating. The adjacent parking lot is also convenient, even for campers.

02/10/2025: A great experience, with tables surrounded by beautiful greenery, fast service, and very kind and welcoming staff. Good, authentic food, fair prices, and the hostess was very accommodating to our requests.

29/09/2025: Small café in the park with a wide selection of drinks (coffee, non-alcoholic, wine, beer, spritz, etc.) and snacks (piadina, chips, desserts, etc.) as well as plenty of outdoor seating (partially covered).

16/01/2026: I tried the bar service both inside and outside, and it wasn't pleasant. Long waits, inattentive waiters, a noisy place, and pigeons flying all over the outside tables. Their pasticcio estense is noteworthy. The place is in an excellent location in front of the Cathedral. It recently changed management, so I'll have to check it out.

15/01/2026: We stopped in for a break after a long walk, and the place piqued our curiosity. Holidays are certainly not easy to manage. It's packed everywhere, but I've never seen a waitress or waiter take my order on a paper napkin. When it came time to order, I asked for the menu and felt like I was from Mars. Anyway, the staff was very kind and fast, though I think they were rushed. The cappuccino was so-so, the pastries were decent, the tea... I didn't like the way it was served. The price is high, but justified by the type of place and its central location... they can definitely improve. You have a very beautiful place; enhance it with your professionalism. For now, a barely adequate review.

30/10/2025: I was visiting Bologna, Italy, and although I’m not usually a fan of seafood, I decided to dine at this restaurant because it offered one of the most beautiful views in the area. I didn’t realize at first that they served a full-course menu for 40 euros, but it turned out to be well worth it, especially since my budget for a nice meal was around 50 euros. I walked about 45 minutes to get there from where I was staying, and the walk itself was quite pleasant and interesting. The restaurant offered three types of main dishes: turkey, pork, and fish. I chose the fish because it usually comes in more varieties, and I’m so glad I did—it was honestly the best fish I’ve ever had in my life. Having worked in seven 5-star hotels and traveled to many countries, I can confidently say this was one of the finest meals I’ve ever experienced. I was the only Asian guest in the restaurant, but I felt completely comfortable and welcome. The server spoke excellent English, was very polite and respectful, and provided wonderful service. I highly recommend this place, not just for the delicious food, but for the warm hospitality, lovely ambiance, and authentic local experience. Truly a hidden gem in Bologna!

19/09/2025: A truly delightful little place! You immediately feel welcome, thanks to the incredibly warm elderly couple who run this pizzeria with so much passion. The pizzas are simply fantastic – crispy, fresh, and generously topped. You can immediately tell that they make their own pizza with love. The value for money is unbeatable; you get top-quality pizza at a more than fair price. Highly recommended and a must for anyone who loves authentic, traditional pizza!

04/12/2025: Terrible pizza! After less than an hour, I started vomiting and had severe stomach pains. Using old or poorly stored ingredients is unacceptable. This place is definitely to be avoided!

02/05/2025: Really unpleasant experience. I entered this bar in Ferrara and, not being a local (I come from Milan), I asked for clarification on what they meant by "pastries". One employee — a curly woman with a ponytail — thought it best to laugh at me and embarrass me in front of the other customers, as if my question were ridiculous. I expected availability and kindness, certainly not to be laughed at just because I didn't know a regional term. Respect for customers should come first, regardless of where they come from. It's not normal and it's not acceptable.

30/10/2025: DESTRUCTURED REVIEW. New management. Neapolitan. His name is still Aroldo. They could have called him Ciro. They forced me there. The atmosphere is elegant. 1 star. The staff is kind and friendly, without being overly so. Another star. Everyone loved the pizza. Star. I didn't so much. I'll take away half a star. Pino Daniele played the background music. I'll take away a star. Still better than Nino d'Angelo. I'll add half a star. Finally, the babà. Star. Excellent coffee. Star. The final bill seemed a bit expensive. I'll take away half a star. (Give me a star, take away a star. I feel like Pat Morita.) I'll be back. And this time they won't have to force me there.

03/07/2025: Sono stata invitata l' anno scorso ad un pranzo per un pensionamento, l' ho trovato molto carino, specialmente il giardino interno ed ho pensato di tornarci a cena con delle amiche stasera. Destino vuole che si rompesse il forno..,che avessero terminato il vino bianco fermo sfuso.., quindi menù ristretto poiché la scelta dei piatti non cucinati al forno, è diventata sempre più ridotta, ad esempio l' unico contorno disponibile erano le cipolline in agrodolce. Può capitare... sfortuna...ma al momento del conto, neanche una scusa, dal conto non è stato tolto nulla per il disagio. Quindi oltre a dover mangiare quello che si poteva, abbiamo pagato come se nulla fosse accaduto . Non tornerò più sicuramente

28/04/2025: Cercavamo una trattoria tipica a Ferrara e direi che abbiamo fatto centro. Locale molto "alla mano" che trasmette quel senso di trattoria di una volta. Il titolare (o almeno credo che lo fosse) gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo preso i cappellacci di zucca al ragù, veramente molto buoni. Di secondo, salama da sugo con purè, anche questa davvero ottima!! L'unica nota stonata è il vino sfuso, non per la qualità, ma per la provenienza: era infatti una Barbera, sarebbe apprezzabile proporre un vino locale. Detto questo, assolutamente consigliato!
