26/10/2025: The experience exceeded our expectations! The location and dining rooms were very well-maintained, the staff was very friendly, and the food was truly excellent with unexpected pairings! We ordered two excellent appetizers (deer tartare and cod cannoli), truly delicious ossobuco tortelli, a Bolognese cutlet that amazed us, and an almond tartlet with coffee cream that was truly incredible! Congratulations! We'll definitely be back!

01/10/2025: *5 stars!* I just returned from an incredible evening at Smeraldino in San Lazzaro di Savena! Neapolitan pizza is always a unique experience, but this time it was even more special thanks to the kindest pizza chef I've ever met! The pizzas were obviously delicious, with a light, crispy crust and the freshest ingredients. But the real magic was when the waiter gave my girls a piece of dough to play with! They were thrilled to be able to play at being pizza chefs and had a fantastic evening. We'll definitely be back soon! *Recommended to everyone!*

13/09/2025: They didn't let us eat at 11 pm because it was too late. A while back, they said that since it was a pub, you could eat until after midnight. We went to Monelli and definitely spent less.

12/08/2025: My only regret is the service, because the restaurant is beautiful, well-maintained, and right in the center of San Lazzaro. The food is good, and the pizzas are exceptional. Improve the service, and you'll see, you'll get 5 stars from me.

27/09/2025: Don't go there, mediocre food, awful staff, €443.50 for 10 people without a receipt. Unfortunately, I informed the owner that I had parked my camper in his restaurant's parking lot, and after drinking some wine, I slept there. In the morning, I found myself intentionally blocked!!! And with a taunting attitude, despite having a disabled person with me!

05/10/2025: A REALLY DISPLEASANT PERSON, INDIFFERENCE, AND UNACCEPTABLE QUALITY/PRICE We booked a table for four in the morning. We entered and were seated at a table next to the wide-open front door, with a small screen next to it (which mattered practically nothing, since all the customers near us were dining in their jackets). Once seated, the first thing we asked was if they could close the door because it was 17 degrees outside and very cold inside. The waitress's response was: "WE CAN'T ASK FOR THE DOOR BECAUSE WE HAVE TO COME IN AND OUT TO SERVE CUSTOMERS ON THE VERANDA." So, since they don't have a service door, we were all condemned to eating in the cold (with numerous complaints from all the customers). We ordered 1 water, 1 beer, and a Coke (NO WINE) and: 1 ossobuco risotto, 3 portions of crescentine with cured meats, pickles, and squacquerone (the crescentine alone cost €60.00, plus €10.00 for cheese, and they were also meager, and the cured meats weren't even very good). But the biggest surprise was the ossobuco risotto: A VERY SIMPLE SAFFRON RISOTTO WITH A LITTLE KNIFE-CUT BRAISED BEEF (WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN ANY KIND OF MEAT SINCE IT WAS ALL MINCED). But the whole ossobuco with its marrow (a fundamental part of ossobuco risotto because the marrow must be mixed with the risotto, which offers a wonderful flavor) was not even a hint. When I asked for ossobuco and marrow, the waitress told me that they had run out of marrow, so I had to do without. The only truly good thing at a reasonable price were the excellent desserts (the mango ice cream was excellent). ICING ON THE CAKE: for 4 of us, without wine (because we are teetotalers), 3 portions of crescentine and a saffron risotto WITHOUT THE OSSOBUCO TOTAL BILL... €146.00, INCLUDING €16 FOR COVER CHARGE (FURTHERMORE, WITHOUT A TABLECLOTH AND WITH THE CUTLERY PLACED ON THE WOODEN TABLE). I judge as a professional restaurateur because I built and created a restaurant in the heart of Bologna that in 11 years has received several very important awards, so I would like to say to these amateurs, as a professional in the sector that for them this is the restaurant industry, they still have a lot to learn about how to treat customers and above all about cooking methods and the quality of the products in relation to the price.

21/09/2025: We arrived with a reservation, as did other customers. We ordered various platters, burgers, tomini cheese with vegetables, and pasta dishes. Everything was very good, with just the right portions and a great variety. We were also satisfied with the coffees. The dishes arrived a bit in installments, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was very nice, but very hot even in late summer; there are umbrellas, but the sun beats down directly. The quality/price ratio is fair. There was also a restroom.

15/10/2025: We dined for the first time at this osteria not far from Bologna. A very chic, well-maintained location in an old farmhouse. They offered us the first tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms of the season, which were served immediately after ordering. They were dry and flavorless... and the mushrooms (very fresh) were completely unprocessed, tasteless, and mostly raw—a real shame! It was our mistake not to have questioned them, and even more so not to have asked the price of the dish before ordering. For the main course, an excellent tagliata and an ordinary cotoletta accompanied by two mediocre side dishes. A €25 bottle of wine and a dessert accompanied by two liqueurs totaled €160. The service was rushed and superficial. The bill was unjustified for the quality of the dishes, unfortunately not the only negative memory of this evening. I won't be returning, and I don't think I'll recommend it.

09/10/2025: A lovely place near the ring road entrance. We had pizza (I had porcini mushrooms). The pizza was truly delicious, the service impeccable, and a shout-out to the very friendly waiter Asif... (Prices are in line with others). A well-deserved 5 stars.
