11/11/2025: REALLY UNPLEASANT STAFF AND UNACCEPTABLE QUALITY/PRICE We booked a table for four in the morning. We entered and were seated at a table right next to the wide-open front door, with a small screen next to it (which mattered practically nothing, since all the customers near us were dining in their jackets). Once seated, the first thing we asked was if they could close the door because it was 17 degrees outside and very cold inside. The waitress's response was: "WE CAN'T ASK FOR THE DOOR BECAUSE WE HAVE TO COME IN AND OUT TO SERVE CUSTOMERS ON THE VERANDA." So, since they don't have a service door, we were all condemned to eating in the cold (with numerous complaints from all the customers). We ordered 1 water, 1 beer, and a Coke (NO WINE) and: 1 ossobuco risotto, 3 portions of crescentine with cured meats, pickles, and squacquerone (the crescentine alone cost €60.00, plus €10.00 for cheese, and they were also meager, and the cured meats weren't even very good). But the biggest surprise was the ossobuco risotto: A VERY SIMPLE SAFFRON RISOTTO WITH A LITTLE KNIFE-CUT BRAISED BEEF (WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN ANY KIND OF MEAT SINCE IT WAS ALL MINCED). But the whole ossobuco with its marrow (a fundamental part of ossobuco risotto because the marrow must be mixed with the risotto, which offers a wonderful flavor) was not even a hint. When I asked for ossobuco and marrow, the waitress told me that they had run out of marrow, so I had to do without. The only truly good thing at a reasonable price were the excellent desserts (the mango ice cream was excellent). ICING ON THE CAKE: for 4 of us, without wine (because we are teetotalers), 3 portions of crescentine and a saffron risotto WITHOUT THE OSSOBUCO TOTAL BILL... €146.00, INCLUDING €16 FOR COVER CHARGE (FURTHERMORE, WITHOUT A TABLECLOTH AND WITH THE CUTLERY PLACED ON THE WOODEN TABLE). I judge as a professional restaurateur because I built and created a restaurant in the heart of Bologna that in 11 years has received several very important awards, so I would like to say to these amateurs, as a professional in the sector that for them this is the restaurant industry, they still have a lot to learn about how to treat customers and above all about cooking methods and the quality of the products in relation to the price.

26/02/2026: For me, pizza means "Pizzeria Ravello"! The experience, the professionalism of the owners, and the use of top-quality ingredients make the pizza excellent and easy to digest. Highly recommended pizzeria!

29/01/2026: The quality here is par for the course, the price is a little higher than other pizzerias but at least you won't have a tile in your stomach, I've never had a burnt pizza with them and if it runs out during peak times like on a Saturday night when the oven is working hard they'll remake it for you without a problem.

I ordered a pizza with mozzarella, sausage, mushrooms, and onions, and another one arrived with different ingredients: baked potatoes and zucchini. I called them and they told me the pizza had the same name as the menu I had, but they changed the ingredients. What do I know? I don't like this pizza! Since I paid for it, I'm keeping it, but the pizza chef wanted to be right, saying it was good (no, it was dry!) ​​and that I shouldn't complain, and he even treated me badly. Why doesn't he eat it himself? I don't like these ingredients on a pizza! I thought there were other ingredients. As far as I'm concerned, NEVER AGAIN! And this is happening on my birthday, by the way! You sell me this dry pizza with ingredients you've changed at your discretion, and if I slam it against the wall it bounces and even hurts. You take my money and won't even change it, and on top of that you insult me ​​and make fun of me by saying it's good. So you eat it yourselves.

05/06/2026: It is the first bar with true style and elegance seen in San Lazzaro. Today it is no longer the only one but it still remains one of the most popular and loved.

23/04/2026: I've been stopping at Caffè Epoca for many years and have always had a great time. Today, as usual, at 12:50, I went and ordered two Negronis, everything as usual. As usual, they arrive, the same glasses, but with a twist: three fingers of Negroni and ice until it overflows. But as usual, the bill arrives: still €16.00. Are we crazy?

14/06/2026: Awfull taste. Not at all fresh. She said the brioche is with nutella it was not. She lied.

27/09/2025: I went to the bar with a friend of mine, both 16 years old. When we got there, we ordered two donuts and my friend ordered a cappuccino. As soon as the bartender came with the cappuccino, she gave it to my friend and forgot the water. We noticed this and my friend kindly asked her for it. She responded with this phrase: "I'm coming, you guys are obviously spoiled," concluding with "you guys," bringing up our gender with an air of sexist superiority. Finally, when she went to serve a couple of gentlemen, they said, laughing, "You should have specified the gender," and she responded with, "Yes, it's always them," still laughing. I don't recommend it.

A perfect combination for those seeking a quality breakfast. ​Service The staff is distinguished by their friendliness and warmth; their constant smiles help create a relaxing atmosphere, ideal for unwinding during a break. ​Ambience The space is spacious, bright, and very welcoming. An added bonus is the availability of newspapers, a courtesy that makes the breakfast ritual even more enjoyable and complete.
