09/05/2025: Although we hadn't booked on what was a very busy evening, they kindly accommodated us. Delightful restaurant with a wonderful bay 'window' area looking over the canal for two couples lucky enough to experience. Food absolutely next level, served by highly knowledgeable and expert team. Worth every Euro.

30/04/2025: Muy decepcionado con la comida por el precio. También cerca de un lugar maloliente en el canal. No estoy seguro de cómo esta es la calidad Michelin. Teníamos los ravioles y mariscos fritos. El ravioli estaba goteando mantequilla y muy rico. Se recomendaban los mariscos y en su mayoría calamares y sepias. Un trozo muy pequeño de pescado blanco lleno de huesos, cuatro sardinas y salsas que eran sosas.

02/06/2025: Trattoria Da Gigio is a guarantee if you want to eat excellent local Venetian food. Good value for money. The girls at the service are helpful, friendly and nice. Recommended.

08/05/2025: Went here for dinner with my wife and we enjoyed the food a lot. I ordered a pasta dish with lobster in it along with a pizza and my wife ordered a pesto pasta dish and she enjoyed it as well. Overall, the food was good and I would come back there again.

29/05/2025: We nearly changed our booking and missed this place but glad we didn't. The food was presented well and all nicely cooked. The service was great and the wine delicious.

27/05/2025: A due passi dal Ponte di Rialto, non molto grande e sempre frequentatissimo, ovviamente obbligatorio prenotare con anticipo e soprattutto cercare orari non di punta perchè altrimenti i tempi di attesa diventano biblici e bisogna avere molta pazienza. Il menu è abbastanza ricco ed offre molte pietanze locali a base di pesce, ma obbligatoriamente deve tenere conto anche dei numerosi ospiti stranieri, per cui alcuni piatti vanno semplicemente ignorati. Il pesce è di ottima qualità e cucinato con cura e al momento, cosa che ovviamente allunga i tempi di attesa. Buono l'assortimento dei vini, mi sarei aspettato un po' di più dalla lista dei dolci, da cui personalmente ho scelto i biscottini da annegare in un ottimo Recioto. Rapporto qualità/prezzo non eccessivo, vista la posizione e la qualità della cucina.

30/05/2025: Very cute and quiet spot in Venice! The truffle pasta was very good, would recommend. We came for lunch as we wanted to sit outside but the dinner reservations were full, but I don't regret it as it was a great spot for a nice lunch.

31/05/2025: A quiet and cozy place. Everything we tried was incredible, homemade and delicious. The homemade ravioli and lasagna were spectacular, and what can I say about the tiramisu? Highly recommended if you're looking for a place with homemade food that's far from the typical tourist spots. A 10!

02/05/2025: I’m sure sitting by a canal is nice but to truly experience this restaurant you should ask for a table inside the restaurant. The atmosphere is pure Italy, loud, friendly, people bursting into song and the locals greeting each other like long lost brothers. It’s magical. We had a great meal, and it was very reasonably priced. The service was good although the air conditioning was up just a little too high. That said, we would return there every night if we thought we could get a table. Reserve to avoid disappointment.

02/05/2025: Grande esperienza. Posto consigliato da un'amica e devo dire che è stato un super consiglio. Locale fuori dalle "vie" principali ma pur sempre vicino, con posti a sedere direttamente sulla riva. Personale meraviglioso, gentile, simpatico e molto venice style! Cosa non scontata. Cibo buonissimo, dagli antipasti, primi e secondi. Consiglio di lasciare uno spazio per i dolci: strepitosi! Passerò parola!

08/06/2025: We went to the Antico Calice restaurant on a recommendation. The ambiance was very pleasant, the service friendly and unobtrusive. The menu offered a small but good selection. The millefeuille with swordfish, eggplant, buffalo cheese, and basil was excellent and a true treat. For dessert, we had tiramisu and crême brûlée, which was flambéed at the table. The tiramisu was the best I've had in Venice so far. Prices are mid-to-high, but reasonable for the quality. A truly excellent recommendation that I'm happy to pass on.

01/05/2025: Dopo una ricerca su internet ho trovato questo fantastico ristorante. Servizio e gentilezza impeccabili, piatti abbondanti e deliziosi. Ci sono stati offerti dalla casa nell’ordine, un aperitivo, delle focacce, dei dolcetti e per concludere persino il sorbetto. Nulla a che vedere con le centinaia di ristoranti turistici tutti uguali in cui ci si imbatte nel centro citta’ veneziano.

31/05/2025: Pour être honnête : Qualité des plats : 7/10 Qualité du cadre : 8/10 Qualité du service : zéro pointé. Je dédommage de donc ce restaurant qui vous gâche la soirée par discrimination. A cause d’être Français ? A cause d’une réservation avec la Fourchette ? Quelle déception de se vouloir être un restaurant gastronomique plutôt de luxe et de se comporter comme une vulgaire attrape touriste. Nous voulions passer une bonne soirée dans un lieu d’exception et avons fini par amèrement regretter notre choix. Les notes de la Fourchette n’illustrent pas notre déception. Nous avons plutôt bien dîner mais ne remettrons jamais les pieds dans cet établissement. Pourquoi ? Toutes les tables se sont vues offrir un digestif sauf la notre. En quittant le restaurant, j’ai juste demandé pourquoi ? Le serveur m’a simplement répondu que c’était à la discrétion du restaurant. Visiblement malgré une addition à plus de 300 euros en couple, ce n’était pas suffisant pour mériter cette distinction. Donc nous non plus n’aurons pas de considération pour la Caravella. A éviter pour tous les épicuriens surtout si vous réserver avec la Fourchette. Persona non grata.

22/05/2025: The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Additionally, they have drinks that are favorites among most people.

22/05/2025: Honestly the best spaghetti with mussels and clams I’ve had in my Italy trip so far. It was well balanced, not too salty and not too bland, and not too much sauce.

16/05/2025: I had Fritto B and it turned out to be exactly as the picture. Delicious and the Calamari well done. A Sea Food medley. Their beer also good. I went last night (15/5/2025) around 645 pm and they serve dinner from 7 pm. Very prompt service. Good place for Large gatherings as they several covers. Not very expensive.

01/06/2025: I am not a big fan of seafood but I felt guilty not trying seafood in Venice - the seafood tasting platter was amazing. The waitstaff were very passionate to help show you how it should be eaten and enjoyed.

28/05/2025: It is a nice, not super touristy restaurant. It’s a very small but elegant restaurant. Food was good but not anything extraordinary. Worth visiting.

25/05/2025: Extremely creative menu, executed well, in a tiny space with only 22 chairs. The staff genuinely seemed to be having a good time and the clientele included both locals and tourists. The food is presented beautifully but breaks conventions, like the tonno vitellato instead of vitello tonnato! I had three courses and three wines for €96. A delight.
