A truly charming place. Highly recommended if you want to make a good impression. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially Tommy and Alessandro, who are highly qualified. They and the rest of the team will ensure you and your family have an unforgettable Venetian culinary experience.

A local restaurant with satisfying food and service!

Beautiful location, but the food wasn't up to par. We had dinner for two. A mixed appetizer of cooked fish was good. A first course, ravioli with lemon scallops and bottarga, needed a complete overhaul. The pasta and filling were dry, and the lemon bottarga sauce was tiring after the first few bites. The dish wasn't well-balanced in flavor. A second course, grilled sea bass with vegetables, was bland. Two glasses of Pinot Grigio and filtered water. The bill was €98, excessive for how much and how well we ate. I had high expectations, but they were unfortunately disappointed. I wouldn't return.

This place is a gem. Amazing food. Quick service. Relaxing atmosphere. It would be wrong to not come here when in Venice.

Lovely restaurant on the canal. Tucked away down an alley which then brings you out onto a lovely view.

I wrote, "You don't need to go to Sung Si-kyung's or Alberto's restaurants. You absolutely must go here." But then I realized it was Alberto's recommendation. You can't get this quality for this price in Korea. And it's not even that expensive! A bottle of wine, pasta, and assorted grilled seafood for less than €100. I looked it up and found that the name of the place was "Tavern" or "Old Restaurant." True to its name, the entrance felt like entering a very old restaurant. The owner, dressed in a stylish suit, and the staff were attentive and attentive from start to finish! When I asked for a menu recommendation, he confidently replied, "Everything we make is delicious." The moment I took a bite of the grilled octopus, I exclaimed, "There's nothing left to chew, it's so delicious!" They also recommended a wine that paired well with the meal. They even took a picture with me before we left. The cheerful chef made it a perfect place. By the way, I was wondering if this was the right way to get there, but I gave up and went to eat. The staff at Bacarino, a restaurant just a minute away, recommended this place.

A very pleasant atmosphere with kind and friendly staff. When it comes to the food, we personally found the starters tastier than the main courses. We had octopus and an artichoke flan, both of which were very delicious. For the main courses, we ordered risotto, duck, beef fillet in chocolate, seabass, and tortellone. The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were good, some dishes better than others, but nothing truly spectacular. I say this because the prices are quite high, and for higher prices I also expect exceptional food. For dessert, we had tiramisu and cheesecake, both tasty, and you cannot go wrong with them. Overall, a very good restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, nice presentation, and slightly higher prices. ☺️
