Incredible food & staff. Ate the lobster risotto and my friend had the pasta with ricotta. The server suggested the perfect wine to pair with it. The service was amazing. Food was some of the best I have had in Italy (and I have eaten ALOT in Italy)

A truly enchanting place, strategically located and seemingly hidden. Here you can drink anything, and it will seem absolutely special because the chance to sit directly on the Grand Canal is pure magic!

Five stars aren't enough. The food was simply outstanding, absolutely top-notch. I've never eaten such good tortellini. The seafood, prepared two different ways, was divine. Simply wonderful. Perfectly cooked. The desserts were the crowning glory. The service was also not to be underestimated. This was a visit of a very high standard. Top-notch! We will definitely be back.

The staff were very friendly (they remembered us almost a year after our last visit), the food was top-notch as always, and I don't need to say anything about the beauty of the place: you can only see it in person!

04/08/2026: This is definitely a hidden gem in Venice in the sea of sub par food! Their bread is delicious and so was the ravioli I had. However, be prepared to spend a good amount of money for small portions & cover charge added to the tip at the end.
03/08/2026: Everything was perfect. It's right next to Piazza San Marco, but because it's on a slightly hidden street, it's very quiet. The service was good, and the food was too.

Osteria Ae Cravate

12/08/2026: We arrived in Venice on our first day very late and were desperately looking for somewhere to eat. After trying multiple places with no luck, Osteria Ae Cravate was the one that opened its doors for us! They kindly checked with the kitchen and welcomed us in, even though it was late. They prepared absolutely delicious food, and the service from Rag was SPEECHLESS! He made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. The food, service, atmosphere, and location were all amazing. What could have been a stressful first night in Venice turned into such a memorable experience thanks to their kindness and hospitality. We felt truly welcome and appreciated. 100% recommend Osteria Ae Cravate, and we will definitely go again! ❤️🇮🇹
11/08/2026: For our daughter's master's degree luncheon, we were looking for a venue where each of our guests, with varying dietary needs or preferences, would be able to choose the right food. We also wanted it to be an unforgettable day for the birthday girl and for all the attendees. We couldn't have made a better choice. They offered us a rich and varied menu, all the excellent and authentic dishes were appreciated by the guests, and the service was excellent. The owner, a delightful person from the very first moment, looked after us with professionalism, cordiality, and kindness. Being very meticulous, we feared something might go wrong, given that the choice of venue was based primarily on intuition. But we must say, not only were our intuitions correct, but the service exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making one of those days in your life that you will remember forever so wonderful.
