25/01/2026: We visited Locanda del Teatro in Montefalco yesterday and were completely won over. The place is beautiful, meticulously designed, with a warm and elegant atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. We began by sharing an appetizer of hand-sliced ​​wild-caught prosciutto with torta al testo: simply sublime, excellent ingredients showcased with great respect. For main courses, we chose veal cheek with Sagrantino glaze and duck confit: dishes impeccable in both flavor and presentation. Authentic cuisine, refined but never artificial, with true and profound flavors. We also thoroughly enjoyed sampling their artisanal bread accompanied by an extraordinary olive oil, further demonstrating their attention to quality. A special mention goes to the wine cellar, truly one-of-a-kind: for wine lovers, a visit is a pure emotion. The service was on par with everything else: the staff was knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming, making guests feel truly pampered. A place that's more than just a restaurant, but a true experience. We'll definitely be back.

The truffles are top-quality, as is everything else on the menu. The restaurant is very welcoming, and the service is fast and friendly.

Nothing to complain about; everything was explained with great care and knowledge of what was to be served. Excellent wines. We had lunch on January 2nd for four people. 12/12/2025: Highly recommended, it's a shame it was closed the next day for a weekly rest day, otherwise we would have returned. Everything was excellent, even the two guys, Emanuele and Francesco, were really good. As soon as we can, when we return to Assisi, we'll definitely return. 🤗

Traditional dishes with authentic flavors, attentive service, and a fair bill made the experience truly perfect. Highly recommended!

06/01/2026: A TRUE agriturismo, where the owner, Ernesto, welcomes you with serenity, humility, and impeccable hospitality. This time we had the honor of meeting his partner, a welcoming and classy woman. We stayed in the new ground-floor rooms, spacious and very warm, thanks to the modern underfloor heating. The dining room, veranda, dining room, reception area, and all the appurtenances are ever more wonderful. The cuisine is excellent, top-quality food, superb raw ingredients, and so much care.....the smell of homemade sauce already explodes in the early morning. Everything is special, from appetizers to first and second courses; the wine by the glass is delicious, and the water by the glass. Breakfast is, as always, a wonderful selection, with exquisite sweet and savory options, and the staff is HAPPY to offer you seconds. The waiters are excellent.....Francesco is the embodiment of a polite, professional, and affable young man, as is his colleague. I also want to point out the delicious bread, and despite the hearty dinner, we went to bed feeling very light. The facility is undergoing significant expansion after the earthquake, with a swimming pool and ample parking. RELAXATION IS GUARANTEED and FAIR PRICES... unlike expensive and mediocre restaurants in the area. Meticulous hygiene, a bright dining room, and well-arranged tables. See you soon... it's a shame it's so far away... I'd love to be with you every Sunday. Thank you so much, we went home very happy.

10/01/2026: I had dinner this evening with my partner. We started by sharing a platter of high-quality local cured meats, followed by gnocchi with prosciutto ragù and tagliolini all'amatriciana, both worthy of being mopped up. Intrigued by the delicious menu, we also shared a portion of ribs... SUBLIME! The latter will be a dish I'll never forget for the tenderness of the meat and the incredible flavor. We finished with a caramel panna cotta that lived up to the entire dinner. Friendly service. Special mention to the man who took our order and looked after us for his kindness and professionalism, which added to the wonderful evening we had. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area. Bravo!

The crostini with lard and honey as an appetizer was excellent, but €8 is a bit too much for the portion. The gnocchi with Taleggio cheese and truffle cream were delicious and delicate. The white chocolate mousse was exquisite, but the Roccata wasn't quite to our taste... Overall, we recommend it ☺️
