Pasquale, the owner, is passionate, friendly, and very knowledgeable on wines. ….Extensive wine list… He chose 2 great wines for our dinner, that were fantastic. The food is fabulous!! Book in advance…Highly recommend🍷

16/11/2025: A wonderful trip out of town, and we were recommended this restaurant. It's top-quality and very reasonably priced. Delicate and flavorful meat, exceptional Bolgheri wine, exquisite crostini, and truly divine salt and olive oil gelato. The kindness and courtesy of the staff, including the owner, truly inspired me. We'll be back. Congratulations, keep up the good work.

12/11/2025: Recommended restaurant. The food is excellent. This restaurant also offers pizza which is, in my opinion, very good.

11/11/2025: It's not easy to deserve 5 stars with a table for 13. We'll be back as a couple and enjoy even more: the view, the homemade pasta, the ragù, and the quality meats, the wine list that's a pleasure to linger over, etc. My kids even went crazy for the desserts! Well done! PS: A charming medieval village that's well worth the short climb.

21/10/2025: We went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday, a wonderful discovery. It's a bit hidden and especially uphill!!! Don't come wearing high heels, but if you do, the owner will provide you with a new pair of slippers so you can walk down safely—a much-appreciated treat!!! The food was delicious. We had an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, the stewed wild boar with polenta and roast potatoes, and mushroom tordelli. DELICIOUS! It's definitely worth a visit in the summer because of the stunning view. We'll definitely be back.

20/09/2025: The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside, but a big surprise inside! The two of us went there without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. A special table was set aside because everything was reserved. We started with bruschetta and bread, and it was delicious! We received friendly service and ordered bruschetta, two salads, two main courses (pizza & pasta), and two desserts! With two Cokes, two large waters, and two glasses of wine, we thought we'd get a large bill, but we were surprised, as we paid a good price for the €2 per person. The whole combination of old-fashioned and rustic with delicious food was perfect and was a real highlight! If you're in the area, come see for yourself; you won't regret it!

The service is impeccable, with a touch of yesteryear, where the owner frequently visits the tables to ensure everything is perfect. The 1980s-style decor creates a unique and nostalgic atmosphere, and the generous portions make every dish truly satisfying. A special mention goes to the fried porcini mushrooms, simply delicious. An experience worth repeating!

05/11/2025: Lucca's historic trattoria. My family and I have been going there for many years, and I must say it's an excellent restaurant in every way. Spectacular food, fair prices, and very friendly staff. I recommend booking a table in advance because it gets quite crowded and it's difficult to find a seat, especially in the summer.
