23/05/2025: What a great restaurant. Everything is right, the dishes, wines, service. No fuss with white tablecloths and formal service but just fantastic dining in a very nice atmosphere. Early reservation is strongly recommended.

22/05/2025: Just back from dinner at Osteria da Pasquale and what a great price/quality ratio, 70 euros per person (starter, main course and dessert) including a bottle of wine of 35 euros (shared), sparkling water, an offered aperitif and meloncella and an extra piece of free cake. Not only reasonably priced but everything was very well taken care of, nicely presented and very tasty and delicious. This is really a top address in Lucca with a special kitchen for which our compliments to the chef and the kitchen staff. But it is not only the food that makes this Osteria so special, it is also the friendliness of the owner, his staff and the service that many restaurants can learn a lesson from. Grazie mille to everyone at this Osteria.

29/03/2025: Posto carino e personale molto gentile. Abbiamo mangiato volutamente solo carne, una bistecca alla fiorentina cotta nel forno a legna. Veramente buona come i dolci.

19/05/2025: Recommended by the hotel where we were staying, we had dinner in this splendid place on Sunday 18 May! We opted for the tasting menu which included: Mixed appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses Two first courses Tasting of 4 wines Cantucci and vin santo! Beautiful place, generous portions, very high quality! The very good service, the typical Tuscan waiter who made us feel at home right away! We will definitely return because places like this definitely deserve to be visited several times!! Congratulations PS added value the legendary Brunello (🐕)

28/04/2025: A charming tucked away spot. Quiet friendly service in multiple languages. Great food and generous portions. I had a mixed fry of chicken, rabbit and artichoke hearts. All tender.

24/04/2025: A very traditional restaurant that has likely lost its way due to its success with US tourists. The homemade tordelli are okay, but otherwise the menu is uninspired and lacking in quality. The wine list is good, but about half of the local wines are no longer available. The service is as it should be. Mass processing. You sit in the cellar. Not uncomfortable, but not pleasant either. Prices are high, but reasonable. Overall, a shame, because it all just missed a really good restaurant experience. My tip: go there if you can't find anything better.

26/05/2025: I came here with my husband and everything was amazing!! Totally recommend if you come to Luca. We went first to Florence and the service is bad. Here in Gigi trattoria they treat you like you are a host in their house. Plus what can I said about food?? The house wine amazing!! And incredible prices

31/05/2025: Arrived at 1 p.m., they managed to get a table for us and our 2 daughters. Super nice! The porchetta is great, the pasta with smoked cheese sauce, amazing!! I recommend it!!!! Thank you!! The interior is "unusual!!! Lol 😎" thanks to the waiter Marco!!! A gem!!!!

28/04/2025: We ate in this Osteria for lunch and the place is easily found when entering Lucca from Porta Elisa and going towards the centre. Very kind and quality food, we recommend the tagliolini with truffle (because with real truffle flakes). We gave the place 4 stars, only because it is a small place, but very nice and well kept.

08/05/2025: It was recommended to us by our B&B You arrive and the window already says it all with the lady preparing one of their typical dishes on the spot (tordelli). Their cake with beaks is also good. Friendly and prepared staff

13/05/2025: We were once rustic and well-kept environment. Good home-made food, price a little high. We took 1 appetizer 2 first courses 2 second courses 2 bottles of water 87 euros all in all the quality was good
