28/12/2024: A place where Tuscan gastronomic tradition blends with contemporaneity. Fantastic location at the top of Monte Carlo, with a view over the entire plain below. The service was impeccable.

12/01/2025: We visited the Martinelli tavern at the suggestion of friends who live in the area.
The venue is elegant, the service professional and refined.
We went specifically to try their Florentine steak, which we found excellent both for the quality of the cut and the preparation.
The price (just under €50 each for steak, side dish and a glass of wine/beer) is correct.
Fully satisfied.

8/12/24 After 2 years we returned here for dinner. One confirmed obviously. The only flaw was a bloody brawl and bottles between non-EU citizens in the adjacent square, unfortunately now recurring in many Italian cities.
24/12/2024: Lovely family run place near Mercado. Enjoyed a terrific lunch of Rigatoni al Gigi, Tagliatelle in a White Bolognese sauce. Carmine who runs Gigi is a warm and friendly guy. Pro tip…don’t leave without trying their homemade Biscotti. The best we have ever had!

07/01/2025: A good gastronomic experience in Lucca, just be careful with some dishes that contain pepper, in my case, I didn't think it would be that strong. Very attentive staff, traditional, picturesque atmosphere.
