17/06/2025: Our first restaurant after arriving in Palermo, we weren't disappointed! Excellent value for money. Authentic atmosphere, generous and tasty dishes. The staff speaks English, which makes things much easier. We highly recommend it.

28/06/2025: The only place to eat Arancini. Self service, there may be a line but it moves very quickly. Delicious and the portions are quite large. The eggplant and classic ones are very delicious.

06/07/2025: I Cascinari is a place of the heart. It is the grandmother's cooking kept alive and reworked by chef Vito. It is the welcome of Piero and the very kind boys who serve in the dining room. Every time we return to Palermo, at least a couple of stops are a must. Exceptional value for money. Often after eating we also take something to take away. In my personal ranking: appetizer (free and for everyone) of panelline and croquettes, eggplant meatballs, spaghetti with black ink or Sicilian pesto, stuffed squid... but I mean, it's not possible: I would have to list the entire menu! It is essential to book, they are always full

Osteria Ballarò combines tasty Sicilian dishes with a charming setting in a beautiful historic building on Via Calascibetta. We thoroughly enjoyed a dinner full of local flavours, traditionally prepared and presented with care. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the dishes and wines – something that made the evening extra special. The atmosphere is both authentic and refined, ideal for a relaxing evening out. An absolute must for those who want to taste real Sicilian cuisine, with a modern twist and a warm welcome. Grazie Osteria Ballarò – we would love to come back!

03/07/2025: Very nice place with outdoor tables and indoor area, we were there for a pizza to celebrate a colleague's retirement. I found a good choice in the proposals also original, various types of dough also for celiacs. The service was impeccable, little waiting good coordination in the release of the dishes. The place is very nice and the food is good, I recommend it

15/06/2025: A little gem of a trattoria, serving traditional Sicilian dishes at very reasonable prices. We were greeted with the locally traditional wine and boiled egg and the menu continued in this vein. Nothing fancy but fresh local food simply prepared. Grazie!

07/07/2025: The pizza looks really good but underneath it was burnt. However, what leads me to give 3 stars is that we chose this place following the various awards received by the pizzeria but my partner and I both had digestion problems because of the dough. I recommend trying it anyway.

01/07/2025: Craving pizza?! We don't even think about it for a second and immediately book at Cagliostro! There are two of us, the location is refined and clean. The mise en Place is beautiful! We order a: "fior di cotto e burrata" with cooked ham, pistachio pesto, walnuts, burrata, semi-dry datterino and chopped pistachios. Fabulous!! The photo doesn't do justice to the goodness of such a masterpiece. And a "provola e patate" with provola, roast potatoes, sausage and basil, also something extraordinary. Last but not least, a shared tiramisu to complete the dinner and we leave with a smile and a more than satisfied stomach!
