06/04/2024: It's a crap restaurant we came and with the people inside the staff says the kitchen is closed with dishes arriving at other people's tables I'm really, really disappointed I won't come again

15/02/2024: Locale consigliato dall'albergatore dove abbiamo soggiornato, molto carino all'apparenza e con camerieri gentili ed educati, peccato che per 2 antipasti (uno di mare e uno di terra), due primi di mare (di cui uno fuori menu), 1 caffè, 1 amaro e 1 litro di acqua abbiamo speso 85 euro!!! Decisamente troppo, soprattutto per il fatto che abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti fra gli antipasti ed il primo. Inoltre, mentre gli antipasti erano buonissimi, i primi sono stati passabili. Magari il fatto che fosse San Valentino e che fossimo turisti hanno inciso sul salasso finale.

16/03/2024: Absolutely spectacular. The food was creative in all the right ways and the service was perfectly attentive but not overbearing. Pietro was fantastic! Just what we were looking for to try some regional specialties. Definitely recommend the tasting menu - seasonal and delicious. We thought the fish course was a tad overcooked but still delicious in its zebra preparation. Make sure to try the chef’s homemade limoncello with your dessert.

03/04/2024: Food was not bad but the service was quite honestly bad. Waitresses were insanely slow and not nice, the place is called Pane e Alivi and we were the only table not to get bread and olives, we had to ask twice and got only bread bur were charged for the olives as well. Do not recommend, many other places to eat in Palermo instead

03/04/2024: The cuisine holds its own compared to other restaurants in Palermo, in addition to being a bit revisited. But disaster, the really unpleasant service puts you off the meal. Like a feeling of annoying them more than anything else. After 40 minutes of waiting to be able to order despite calls and reminders, the dishes arrive disdainfully thrown away. Let's eat quickly and leave! We will never dare to ask why other customers are entitled to bread and olives as indicated by the name of the restaurant and not us. They must not have liked our face.

05/04/2024: We were looking for a restaurant close to our apartment, so happy we found this place… the food was delicious, my 11 and 7 year were even impressed. Everything was tasty and we for sure do hope to visit again before we leave this city. We ordered 6 dishes so was quite expensive, but worth it.

05/04/2024: I ate in this restaurant twice during my stay in Palermo, I recommend it, especially if you are celiac. The squid ink pasta was fantastic. The passito semifreddo is also very good, although it is the only gluten-free dessert they have. They also have gluten-free bread and they were very careful because I didn't have any health problems.

14/03/2024: We stayed three days in Terrasini... and for the two evenings we had dinner at Dionisio... an impeccable experience not to mention the courtesy and hospitality of the staff, if you pass by it is a shame to miss an opportunity like this Good job, everyone

12/03/2024: We've enjoyed Ruvolo twice since visiting Palermo. Both times the meals were excellent and the service was great. Our pizza and salad and risotto was very tasty. Price was right so we recommend.

02/04/2024: It’s been interesting coming back after a number of years. The place has been renovated since I was there the last time. Very nice inside. Air conditioning was great, as despite being March, it was very warm outside. As usual they were all super nice, polite, kind, accommodating with requests. There was not anymore a menu à la carte, only two set of tasting menu (4 or 6 dishes). I was actually very happy about that, as the tasting menu was really good and prices absolutely fair. They also make their own delicious bread and breadsticks. Very good also the wine list. Everything was absolutely perfect, we enjoyed every dish. Highly recommended.

01/04/2024: I’m always trying to be balanced on my ratings and when I use the 5 stars it means that it cannot be better from my standpoint….. and this one cannot be better from mine or ANY STANDPOINT!!! MICHELIN GUIDE, where on god’s green earth are you???!?!? Let me just say that from the appetizers to the bread, dishes, and desserts it was a joy for the palate and ALL WAS DONE IN-HOUSE…. And ALL WAS DONE BY THE CHEF ALONE!!!!!! And ALL WAS CLOSE TO 1 star Michelin so I’m asking again, where are you Michelin when such genius of a chef exists!!!! I’ve never seen anything remotely like that in my life…. How can one be a chef, a baker and a pastry chef at the same time and be at least excellent on each count?! That was honestly mind boggling and if you ever step foot in Palermo and proud yourself as having a palate, then you HAVE to go there!!!! Starting with you Michelin inspectors!!!!!!

28/03/2024: We had a great evening at A‘Cuncuma. The tasting menu was easily adapted to allergy needs and an exiting experience. Very friendly service by the sommelier. She proposed a very affordable but very well fitting wine to accompany the menu. The chef, who came to the table, did a great job. We will be back when coming to Palermo.
