25/05/2025: Just go. As many here have said: this is one the best experiences you can have in Sicily. Based on the quality of the cooking (and wine pairing), they are at 2 star Michelin level. One of those places where everything is delicious, where the service is warm and professional, an experience you should not miss if you are in Palermo. The next day I went to a Michelin starred restaurant in the area that has excellent reviews. It was good, but A'Cuncuma was better. Don't miss it!

02/05/2025: Maybe something has changed because our experience didn’t match the reviews. Food was ok but not good value overall. My smoked fish starter was quite dry and I didn’t finish it. My tuna bartaga pasta was too salty for me.

30/05/2025: A very warm welcome awaits you in this restaurant, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. A complimentary drink and appetizers are included, and limoncello is included with the bill. Beautifully presented dishes and expertly crafted cuisine are served with a smile from the owner, who speaks a little French. I highly recommend it.

26/04/2025: Jadąc do Włoch, zawsze wiele oczekuję od tamtejszej gastronomii. Tak samo było podczas mojej pierwszej wizyty na Sycylii. Do momentu odwiedzin tej restauracji byłem mocno zawiedziony — lokale, które odwiedziłem wcześniej, serwowały przekombinowane dania kuchni włoskiej, mało wyraziste i nieoddające kunsztu tej wspaniałej tradycji kulinarnej. Dopiero po wizycie w tym lokalu poczułem magię włoskiej kuchni — tę magię, którą można naprawdę poczuć tylko tutaj. Restauracja prowadzona jest przez całą rodzinę, co często zapowiada sukces — każdy z członków wnosi swoje talenty, przyczyniając się do jej rozwoju. Sam lokal mieści się w przepięknych pomieszczeniach i jest bardzo elegancko urządzony. Serwowane tu potrawy z owoców morza były fantastycznie skomponowane i przygotowane, a składniki — najwyższej jakości. Po raz pierwszy przekonałem się, że można przygotować doskonałą pastę z tuńczykiem. W tej wersji była serwowana z sosem pomidorowym i lekką nutą mięty. Również smażone w głębokim oleju owoce morza były najlepsze, jakie jadłem we Włoszech. Do tego bracia serwowali znakomite wina oraz pyszną kawę. Ceny były bardzo przystępne — trzeba liczyć około 50 EUR na osobę. Faktor rekomendacji/powrotu BofG (0–100%): 90% Jeśli będę w Palermo, definitywnie wrócę!

08/05/2025: And nothing! There is! The location is nice, open kitchen, the outfit is complete with more cutlery and spare napkins on the table. Palermo menu, of vegetables or meat or fish. All exceptional, the Patron, Giuseppe and the others in the room move between the tables with abundance and great professionalism. Attention to the customer is much above the Palermo average. The wine list is good and the prices of wines and dishes are very honest. See you soon!

15/05/2025: A wonderful discovery during a holiday in Palermo. The environment is very welcoming, with products displayed like in the shops of the past. The staff is cheerful and made us feel at home the whole time. The food is delicious, with innovative combinations, excellent quality, very fresh raw materials and plating that makes you enjoy the view. The fish arancina is a real discovery. The cod meatballs are the best I have ever eaten. Refined wines and spirits. The whiskey they offered us was delicious. The bill is absolutely in line with what is being consumed, in fact, perhaps below average for a restaurant that in my opinion deserves a star. Keep it up. It will be a pleasure to come back and visit you and let ourselves be pampered by your flavours

13/05/2025: The owner/server was excellent. He helped pick out delicious wines and steered us to tasty food selections as well. We had the calamari and tuna tartar for appetizers. Both were very fresh and excellent. We had the spaghetti and ravioli for our meals and again both were fresh and excellent. The spaghetti was the " iconic meal" and it did not disappoint. The canolo capped off the night. Highly recommended!

16/05/2025: Locale storico di Bagheria. Personale alla mano ed estremamente, servizio celerissimo, prezzi onesti, piatti di grande qualità . Siamo stati accolti con un uovo sodo e un bicchierino di zibibbo. Anche i dolci spettacolari. Sicuramente tornerò quando sarò di nuovo nei paraggi!

07/05/2025: We had brie piadinas to start, it was excellent, the pasta is also very good and the tiramisu is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and the prices are really fair, I recommend!

03/05/2025: Vlakbij het grote theater in een koel zijstraatje zit dit kleine restaurant. We kwamen er bij toeval langs en het menu op het bord zag er aantrekkelijk uit, dus we kregen een tafeltje buiten. Het straatje is vroeg in de avond koel en gezellig, er lopen mensen langs maar geen grote groepen, precies leuk. Wij kozen vooraf een caponata om te delen, en daarna allebei een pasta. De vegetariër was blij met de duidelijke vermeldingen op de menukaart. De caponata was bijzonder gemaakt. We hebben hem enkele keren eerder gehad, maar dit was echt de beste. Lekker veel amandelen erin, verse kruiden, een beetje lauwwarm. Vers, warm brood erbij. De pasta’s waren allebei ook heel erg goed gemaakt. Zowel de smaak als de textuur: uitstekend. Heel lekker. Geen dikke sauzen, bergen tomaten of plenzen olijfolie, alles subtiel, vers, mooie gekruid en zeer smaakrijk. Duidelijk vers bereid door een goede kok of kokkin. Als wijn namen we de Nero d’avola, een rijke donkere Siciliaanse wijn. Aan tafel werd de fles ontkurkt en er werd een groot glas ingeschonken. Fles koel water erbij, perfect. We hadden geen ruimte voor een dessert, maar de espresso was ook weer prima. Vijf sterren voor Da Bacco voor een bijzonder goede maaltijd op een leuke plek!

02/06/2025: Not bad for a first time. Nice and welcoming location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food regarding pizzas really good. Especially the dough and the fresh and quality toppings. Only flaw. We had booked a table outside. And it had been confirmed by them. We get there and they put us inside. We ask and they tell us that it is not possible outside. Without giving any explanations. Outside everything was free, empty tables. And the weather permitted. We do not know why.... All in all a nice evening and quality food. The villa itself is very beautiful! Especially the tables outside.

29/05/2025: Last year We chose this place for our daughter's communion, on the advice of friends. What can I say: exceptional!! Food worthy of 10 and praise!! I would highly recommend it! Obviously we returned other times to try the pizzas, also very good. Well done, keep it up
