The waiters were very kind and helpful, but unfortunately poorly trained.
Let's start with the appetizers: good, but nothing exceptional. Next, the bottle of wine arrived already opened; fortunately, we asked for an unopened one, and it was replaced immediately without issue.
The fish entrees didn't meet our expectations: they seemed frozen, and the quality wasn't particularly high.
Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, and I don't think I'll return. The only positives were the kindness of the staff and the fairly reasonable bill.

The food was very good, and we were even given bruschetta upon request, even though it wasn't on the menu. The owners could easily accommodate food intolerances, as everything is freshly cooked. We were very satisfied.

If you're in Ortigia and looking for a great dining experience without breaking the bank, Cortile Botà is a must-see. The food is truly excellent and the value is excellent, which isn't always a given in such a charming location.
Special praise goes to Chef Andrea, always available and attentive to his guests' needs. Together with his kitchen team, he creates exquisite dishes, meticulously crafted and rich in flavor. The passion and quality of the ingredients used are clearly evident.
We ate and drank wonderfully, with a special mention for the fish, which was incredibly fresh and impeccably prepared.
A highly recommended experience; we'll definitely be back!
