03/07/2026: Without going into the quality of the food, I had expressly communicated the night before (via WhatsApp and with confirmation from the owner) that there would be five of us dining, while one child would only have a plate of pasta with tomato sauce. That said, €45 more or less doesn't change anything; rather, it's the service and attention paid to the customer that makes the difference... indeed. WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS FARMHOUSE.

05/06/2026: Dear. Being guests in this place and with these people was wonderful for us. We experienced unique emotions, thanks to the Marongiu family. Their estate, immersed in the countryside, among the olive grove, the vineyard, and their animals, makes you live in a heavenly place, in peace. Here you find people who work the land to give you emotions. So, after dinner and meeting other guests at the table, we ate together exclusive products, their oil, their wine, etc., and we savored the fantastic, delicious suckling pig. Then we stayed overnight in one of their little houses, where we slept like children, woke up to the birds singing, and finally met again for breakfast, where we continued to live with these people, as if they were our own family. I can't say anything else, except that perhaps this, too, is the meaning of life??? Thank you. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💖 Carlo Proia

18/05/2026: I've known this typical Sardinian restaurant/pizzeria for many years. Over time, it's lost much of its character...the quality/price ratio is no longer the same. Lower quality, in my humble opinion, and higher prices. The service is commendable, always attentive and professional.

13/05/2026: May 2026. My wife and I had a seafood dinner at this restaurant and pizzeria, which, as true Milanese newcomers to Cagliari, we had been recommended by a local. We'd seen many positive reviews, but also some negative ones, the latter mostly concerning wait times, small portions, food quality, rude staff, and poor value. Our experience undoubtedly aligns with the most positive reviews because: 1) the staff was extremely kind, despite our delay 2) the service was fast and super efficient 3) the quality of the food was excellent (very fresh fish, well-cooked) 4) the portions weren't excessive, but just right for enjoying all the dishes served (and I'm not one for "nouvelle cuisine" restaurants where you leave hungry but can say you've had some "experiences") 5) the quality-price ratio was excellent: we paid a total of €70 for a seafood appetizer, a plate of colurgiones and a plate of fregola with clams, a catch of the day for two, a seadas, water, wine, and coffee. In Milan, for €35 per person, you can get pizza and beer, maybe even dessert and coffee, but not always! What we appreciated most was that "Lo Spiedo Sardo" isn't a "touristy" restaurant, but rather a restaurant still rooted in tradition and the wonderful people who inhabit this wonderful land, to which it primarily caters. So we too felt a little Sardinian and a little less "Milanese."

01/07/2026: The owner and his brother are extremely friendly! They are knowledgeable both in recommending what to eat and in treating people with humanity. We had a wonderful time. He showed me his football and other photo album, which is available in the bar.

26/06/2026: They have pizza and pinsa, like almost everywhere, but the braised dish and the steak (which the Italians also love to eat ;)) are very good, you sit in a nice place and the owners are also very nice :).

04/05/2026: A splendid location in its simplicity and view of the Nuraghe. We had lunch at the agriturismo and had a great time. Friendly staff, generous portions, and excellent value. €40 for adults and €20 for children. Highly recommended, I'll be back!

The Hotel Ristorante Su Nuraxi in Barumini is much more than just a hotel: it's an experience steeped in tradition, family warmth, and pristine nature. Here, you'll find peace and serenity, even when traveling with a small child who can run free and happy in the green spaces. The family management and all the staff welcome you with sincere kindness, making you feel truly at home. The cuisine is authentic, "just like home," rich in authentic flavors and prepared with love. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming, perfect for a regenerating rest, accompanied by the silence of the night and the sweet awakening to the birdsong in the morning. And then the view: simply breathtaking. Looking out and admiring the Nuraghe di Barumini and the Las Plassas Castle is something unique, filling the eyes and the heart. A magical place that expresses all the beauty of our land. Absolutely worth experiencing.

27/07/2026: The pizza was good and the service was fast, plus the tables outside are on soft grass. The prices are fair, I recommend it.

12/06/2026: Wonderful place, I thought there was some kind of rip-off but it's all really €60 (bottle of wine, water, liqueur and coffee included). I've eaten the best malloredus since I've been here in Sardinia. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back.

14/07/2026: Nice place, but the atmosphere needs to be improved with fans and a vaporizer for evenings like the one we had. Terrible service and incorrect bill, only part of the dishes arrived. Orders were taken incorrectly. We had to cancel part of our order because we couldn't wait any longer. The portion sizes on the dishes need to be reconsidered, a bit small (see photo) considering they don't offer an agriturismo option and everything is a la carte... My thought: if you want to run a restaurant, you have to give that little bit more. Otherwise, stick with the agriturismo option. Maybe we're unlucky. However, I believe customers should know what to expect and be comfortable with it. The food is very good. We went because the reviews ranked this restaurant among the top three in Pula, but the experience turned out to be disappointing.

25/07/2026: We knew the restaurant and it was a go-to place where we always enjoyed eating, but this time the quality plummeted. The fish appetizers we ordered were completely lacking in freshness, the raw materials were of very low quality, light years away from the standards we were used to. When you go from an excellent experience to such a poor dish, the disappointment is doubly severe. We just couldn't be happier.

25/07/2026: Bad experience. Restaurant/pizzeria, but when you make a reservation, no one tells you that pizza is only served after 9:30 PM. Fresh atmosphere, lots of noise, and waiters rushing around the room. Good food, but nothing special. Too bad because the location is nice.

09/06/2026: Indeed, the hotel is very close to the airport, but not within walking distance; you can hear the planes very clearly. Keep in mind that Alghero city center is only about ten kilometers from the airport. We arrived yesterday in the mid-afternoon at the hotel reception. We received a very poor welcome from one of the receptionists; the other was much more courteous. We needed her to call a taxi (we had the contact information) for the next morning because we don't speak Italian. The receptionist with the red glasses refused, but the other did. The room was clean, but the bed was very hard; you could really feel the springs. The restaurant is very good; we had a very good dinner. However, they tell you that if you are a hotel guest, you will receive a 10% discount, but this is not applied. As for breakfast, we don't know. We left before it opened (our flight was scheduled for 8:55 am) and there was no lunchbox to take home, even though we had paid for it. I don't recommend this hotel, but I do recommend the restaurant.

23/03/2026: Hotel a stone's throw from the sea, very nice, very clean, super good breakfast. The owners are very kind and helpful.... Recommended... I will return... hopefully soon 😍

02/10/2025: The food was good. But the service was provided by a single person who was visibly burned out... he didn't put the dishes down but threw them on the tables... When it came to paying, he ran off without giving me my bank slip, without a word... And there was no way to catch him... I will avoid it in the future

13/06/2026: We ate here. The food itself was quite good, admittedly more on the pricey side for Germany, but okay. However, something to be aware of: while there's a menu with pizzas and other dishes, the selection is really quite limited, consisting of only 3-4 antipasti, primo, and secondi. Everything is rather pricey. The ambiance is pleasant, and the waiters are generally friendly. But they're very profit-driven and try to push things on customers. All in all, far too expensive. You pay 10% of the total price for service.

08/06/2026: FIRST. Carlo/ Carlos ( sorry if I’m write it wrong ) but you were amazing, so nice and had always a smile on your face. Me and my boyfriend really appreciate your service so thank you for that. Your the best! But the food on the other hand was tasteless and made in the wrong way, if your not picky this is the place for you. We both work in a fine dining restaurant so we now what fusion food should taste like. But we did sent our food back to our head waiter and we didn’t have to pay for both off our main courses and also did get a 10% discount on the starters. So we really appreciate the service but the head chef needs to review the menu and the combinations on the fusion menu theme.
