22/02/2026: Recommended by the owner of the B&B where we were staying (unfortunately unaware of this) for a business trip, we were looking for a traditional place. Looking at the positive reviews (I can't understand how they can be) and the absolutely untrue €20-30 price tag, we decided to have dinner for two at this trattoria.
The owner was kind and friendly, and between chats, he even took us to the bitter bill...
We started by ordering a mixed cured meats and cheese appetizer (1) to put in the center of the table for nibbling. When it arrived, we noticed the paltry portion consisting of two pieces of cheese each, a small bowl of spreadable cheese, and a slice each of cured meats (ham, loin, 4-5 pieces of salami). Thinking it was for one person, we said, "Well, okay!" (Later, we discovered on the bill that it was for two appetizers).
Two first courses, including culurgiones with a bland flavor and gnocchetti alla campidanese, both unremarkable.
For our second course, we decided to order two portions of Sardinian porchetta, which was honestly delicious, but we actually got three ribs each for the modest sum of €17, no side dishes, and half a liter of house wine. Finally, the owner placed a bottle of grappa on the table (in Lazio, this gesture signifies the house's hospitality, so it's a complimentary digestif). So, we each tasted one grappa, which was then added to the bill.
This, in my opinion, was the meanest gesture of the evening—paying for something we didn't ask for.
That said, to wrap up the misadventure, we got the bill: €101 in total.
In short, you're spending your money well; with that amount of money, you might as well go to a quality restaurant, not a tavern, because that's what it's all about.
21/02/2026: The atmosphere is very characteristic and welcoming in its own way, the staff is polite and friendly but I was definitely disappointed by the truly exaggerated prices when you go to places with these characteristics you expect to pay the right amount but that was not the case....... 34 euros for 6 pieces and I repeat "pieces" of pork without any side dish and about 30 euros for a mix of cheeses for 2 people, a mix that includes a total of 4 slices of "local" cheese made me feel cheated, in the end among the other little things that were brought to the table the total cost was just over 100 euros. I regretfully feel forced to say that I will not return but from the prices they charged us that is probably what they wanted

14/11/2025: We stopped for lunch after visiting Torre Sant'Antonio Abate...Unfortunately, I think we found the only place where a waiter allergic to dogs works...We had to run away...anyway, I understand everything, but I recommend putting a no dogs sign on the door to avoid unpleasant inconveniences.

A starter of homemade Sardinian sausages and cheeses, two traditional first courses, and roast suckling pig.
The suckling pig (it was my first time eating it) was too fatty for my taste and probably roasted in the oven, not on a spit.

07/10/2025: I only went here for dinner, so my review is based solely on the restaurant. The location is very pretty and charming, but the prices are truly excessive and don't reflect the quality/price ratio. We had a €26 UNSAUCE tartare, which was practically a bite—nothing special, considering the accompanying sauces were tasteless. Then we had the porceddu: this dish is also quite expensive, €35/person, but at least excellent.
The service leaves a lot to be desired. From the waiter who immediately asked us "How are you?" and didn't respect formality, to the overly stern one who, when asked "How's the tartare seasoned?", replied annoyed, "Oh, just like the usual tartare seasoning." Furthermore, the service was too formal for the setting.
The desserts were completely overpriced; €12 each is insane.
Luckily, the porceddu, the reason we came, was excellent.

26/12/2025: Upon arrival, we were presented with a menu that was as thick as a volume from the Treccani encyclopedia. We ordered a fish appetizer for two, which was decent in flavor but was served cold. The menu included two pages of pizzas. Since it's a pizzeria, I asked for a pizza, but they told me that pizza was only available for dinner. We ordered spaghetti with clams and asked if it was possible to also have spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper. I was told that because it was very busy, it was impossible to accommodate my off-menu request. The question arose spontaneously: "To make spaghetti with clams, the base is usually not garlic and oil. Should I refrain from adding clams and add chili pepper? Is it really that complicated?" Certainly less so than adding cream to tagliolini with squid ink. In conclusion, I won't be returning. Disappointing experience.

15/01/2026: Excessive disorganization and surprises on the bill!
The place is nice and the food is good, but the experience was ruined by the disorganization. We waited forever even just for water, having to ask multiple times. With children in tow, it was an ordeal. Furthermore, they brought us items we hadn't ordered, which almost doubled the bill. Despite the kindness of the staff and the quality of the dishes, I don't think we'll return: management absolutely needs to improve!

24/02/2026: We were a bit disappointed with our experience. The dough itself was quite good! However, the toppings didn’t taste as fresh and were overwhelmingly salty. The combination of sauces and toppings felt heavy & excessive, which made the overall flavor hard to enjoy. Unfortunately, my boyfriend also experienced indigestion afterward.

I loved my stay at the Hotel Fertilia. It's surrounded by nature, very close to the airport and the beach, which makes it super convenient. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have good air conditioning. The restaurant "Da Bruno" was a gem: delicious Sardinian food and a peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Highly recommended!!!
15/09/2025: Clean rooms, conveniently located for reaching Alghero (about 6 km), very good and plentiful breakfast. There's also a restaurant/pizzeria on site, but I've never tried it. Due to its location, despite the Wi-Fi, there's very little reception, including almost no phone or internet. The staff is a bit cold and aloof. Otherwise, everything is fine.

19/02/2026: Delicious homemade Sardinian specialties with panoramic views of the distant sea. Signore Gian Luca del Rio gave us a warm welcome and cooked us a wonderful meal.
