13/03/2026: The place in San Siro you don't expect, but that will win you over! Finding a restaurant in Milan near San Siro that isn't a tourist trap or the usual pre-match spot is a challenge. And yet, last night I discovered this gem: a corner of authentic Apulian cuisine (and more), without frills. We were two couples and relied on the advice of the owner, Ali, a delightful person, whose smile and kindness are already a great first impression. This is her restaurant and that of her husband, who is from Puglia. We started with a platter of cured meats and gnocco fritto, made with a light and digestible dough, perfect! But the real heartbreak came with the fish: Catalan-style shrimp and a warm octopus salad that tasted like they were "made in Puglia, at home, with love." We continued with orecchiette with seafood carbonara. An unusual, bold pairing that amazed us. Honorable mention for the fried fish: crispy, light, dry, and accompanied by delicious vegetables. Perfectly executed, no grease, just a whim (you either do things well or you don't do them at all). In a Milanese world of often unimpressive staff, finding a very kind and always smiling owner makes all the difference. She guided us in choosing a fantastic Spanish white, a Garnacha, which perfectly complemented the flavors of the evening. Even though we were full (we'll try the desserts next time, I promise!), we couldn't say no to a unique, balanced, and never-before-tried bitter. A fitting finale to a meal that reconnects you with the world. If you're looking for a place for dinner with friends or a classic Sunday lunch in Milan, even with family, given the excellent value for money, this restaurant is the answer. They also have a super affordable lunch menu, which explains why it's always rightfully crowded. We've already marked the date for next weekend, because on weekends they serve a crudo that, from the photos we've seen on their social media, seems to be calling our name! 📍 San Siro area, Milan ⭐ Rating: 10/10

09/04/2026: Even though I've been walking past it for over 30 years, I'd never tried this restaurant... and I was wrong. The decor was meticulously maintained, the dishes spotlessly clean (a rare thing these days), and the wait staff was courteous and attentive; I didn't even have to ask for more when I finished the bottle of water on the table. We ate an excellent octopus salad with potatoes and Taggiasca olives. The pasta with clams was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and the portions were just right. The scialatielli with mussels, pecorino cheese, and yellow cherry tomatoes were simply perfect; the quality of the ingredients and preparation was evident on the palate. For our second course, we shared a perfectly fried calamari and shrimp dish, with a light, flaky batter that was perfectly dry because there was virtually no oil on the paper or on the dish. To finish, we had two artisanal Pizzo Calabro truffles with cream, which were truly delicious. They've been at this location since 1969, there must be a reason...or not?! Congratulations to the owners and staff.

Abbiamo mangiato ottimi piatti a base di pesce come il risotto alla crema di scampi, paccheri ai frutti di mare e spigola in crosta di patate. Il servizio è stato impeccabile grazie ad Alessandro e la sua squadra. Prezzo più che adeguato. Torneremo sicuramente!

05/04/2026: Discovered by chance, I picked up two Margherita pizzas to take to the beach. A pleasant surprise: excellent and tasty pizza; helpful staff. I'll be back to try the restaurant service since the dishes at the tables were truly inviting. The prices are absolutely fair.

21/12/2025: They're usually great, but this time they got the takeout pizza dough wrong. After requesting hemp dough, they were served a pizza with white wheat flour dough. If anyone with celiac disease had been present, they wouldn't have been able to eat.

All the food we ate was truly excellent; you could taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to preparation. The atmosphere is romantic and relaxing, perfect for a dinner for two. The owner was extremely kind, attentive, and available for every need. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Sardinian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

22/02/2026: The appetizer was just decent, but the suckling pig wasn't up to the standard of a Sardinian restaurant. You can eat better for 40 euros. It used to be much better.

19/04/2026: This place is from the 80s. I felt like I was a kid again when I went to eat pizza with my parents and their friends... terrible pizza, terrible supplì, my cod fillet was just batter. We asked for a small pizza for the child, and the answer was a firm NO, as if we'd asked for the Moon... the only positive note is the parking.

Made fun of me because I didn’t want the wine the waiter pushed so hard on me. Terrible personality. To my fellow tourists there are so many beautiful Italian souls and restaurants in Rome. Don’t waste a meal here.
