I apologize for the delay in writing this review, but I really wanted to share it because of the wonderful experience this place gave us.
It was a journey through beautiful Trastevere, a journey through the scents, colors, flavors, lights, and images... a journey into ourselves and an embrace with the warm hearts of the locals and the owners and workers of this osteria.
Typical Roman dishes with the authentic flavor of home and family.
Wine that refreshes the atmosphere and warms and ignites the spirits, accompanying laughter with friends and a holiday filled with tradition, innovation, history, culture, and liveliness.
The girls who served us were kind, charming, and professional, a rare sight, and we met the owner, a fantastic woman who works with joy and exudes passion for her work, for meeting and welcoming customers.
I went for dinner a few months ago with two friends. The lady came to say hello, and casually, I mentioned that we were from Germany but that I'm Sardinian, and there we were, a connection between cultures, between parallel traditions, that enjoy being together.
To our immense surprise, the lady began bringing out typical Sardinian carasau bread to accompany the delicious dishes, followed by Sardinian myrtle liqueur, making everyone feel at home. She then offered us cantuccini and other wonderful homemade biscuits that they make in their workshop.
Everything conveyed serenity, joy, and warmth, creating a perfect and very relaxing experience, for a very reasonable price.
Quality is seen in the people who still bring passion to what they do and want to share that passion with their customers, with a smile and a laugh that make everything more colorful and enjoyable, and make all the difference. We say goodbye to the owner and her staff and will definitely be back to eat and hug her next time we're in Rome.
We wish you all the best! 🌹😊🥂
Highly recommended place!

The best part of the experience was the attentive service from our waiter, Sami. He helped us choose the wine and made the evening even more enjoyable.

Recommended by friends, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
Located in the lively, youthful neighborhood of Trastevere, the osteria has a wonderful outdoor terrace where we sat and enjoyed the evening. No reservation is required, though if you want one, it's only by phone — very Roman of them.
The wine list is impressive by the bottle, more limited by the glass, but what's available is well worth it.
We started with the sea bass carpaccio, marinated sardines (outstanding), beef tartare with burrata (genuinely one of the best things we ate on the trip), and Roman-style artichoke — the weakest of the four, though still quite good. For mains, we had the carbonara and a mixed fry of shrimp, calamari, and zucchini, both excellent.
Two glasses of wine plus all of the above came to around €110 — fair value for the quality and experience. Service was friendly and efficient throughout.
Special shout-out to Miki!
We'll absolutely be back, and we'll keep recommending it to anyone who asks.

Beautiful evening in Trastevere at Osteria der Belli.
Fresh seafood, perfectly grilled fish, authentic Roman atmosphere and genuinely warm service. The staff kindly helped fillet the fish for us, which made the experience even more special for first-time visitors to Rome.
Everything felt simple, honest and truly Italian.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic seafood away from the tourist traps.

The area is very noisy, and the restaurant was completely full, which made the atmosphere feel quite busy.
The food was average overall, but I did enjoy the anchovies — they were the highlight of the meal for me.

Every dish we had was excellent — the parmigiana was rich and perfectly balanced, the spaghetti alle vongole fresh and full of flavor, and the seafood platter was top quality. The wine selection was also very solid and well chosen.
This is a place you go for the food — and it delivers.
The only area that could be improved is desserts, which didn’t quite match the level of the rest of the meal.
Overall: highly recommended for food lovers who care more about what’s on the plate than the setting.
Great restaurant, great food. Good decor would recommend especially for seafood lovers

There is no better place to eat in Rome! The live seafood leaves a sea scent in your mouth. We ate squid with artichokes, spaghetti with sea urchin, zucchini flowers and cherry tomatoes (an explosion of flavor on the palate) and steamed mussels, all fresh, and we drank all the broth. And Sami, who served us, was very kind and friendly with prompt service!
