A lovely restaurant in the Trastevere. Pastas carbona and amatriciana were delicious and just the right portion for midday 90* weather. Also recommend the grilled pecorino cheese and honey with focaccia!
Definitely would eat here again.

Amazing seafood restaurant, truly fit-for-a-king service in Rome—it doesn't get better than this! Fish, meat, pasta, desserts: one wow after another. We were a table of 13, and the service was impeccable: speed and courtesy, a true gem of Rome. The new management is incredible; you can feel the care and quality in every detail. Highly recommended! Dinner was very varied and everything was absolutely delicious. We were with friends and tried almost everything :-) The fish and seafood are highly recommended. I've never eaten such good octopus before, and the spinach was incredibly good too. The staff were very attentive the entire time (we were there until closing time) and always had a smile on their faces. It seems to have recently been taken over by new management – hats off to them, it was a perfect and very enjoyable evening. I'll definitely come back anytime I'm in Rome.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Osteria Der Belli in Trastevere-- this hidden gem the place to go if you are looking for great authentic Italian food accompanied by true welcoming Italian hospitality. The whole staff was wonderful and our server Sami made our experience so memorable and special.
This place is definitely worth a visit (or two!) if you are in Rome!

I didn't really like my dish, which was a chef's recommendation and cost €28, if I remember correctly.
I would have given it:
6/10 for taste and
2-3/10 for value for money.
Others at my table really enjoyed their seafood platters (otherwise I would have given it 3/5 stars, maybe even 2). We had better seafood during our stay, though.

A very nice and well-kept osteria, relatively quiet amidst the chaos of Trastevere. Quality food; I'd like to offer a couple of suggestions. Prices are perhaps a bit too "touristy," in other words, high. And too much garlic in the pasta dishes ;-)
