amazing find! stumbled across this restaurant and it looked closed, but the owner welcomed us in and looked after us so well. .... really funny, charming and helpful. The food was AMAZING .. I'm just sad we found this on our last day in Rome as it was the best pizza and pasta I have ever had, ever!

05/07/2026: Don’t be fooled by the touristy location or the typically deceptive traditional appearance: this Place is a no-nonsense roman trattoria where you can still get what you pay for, and even get a nice discount! No wonder it may be packed at times: just wait for your turn or come back after a stroll in the beatiful Rione Monti. Much more advertised places are no match for this Fork (in italian, la Foirchetta)
04/07/2026: Delicious food! We were there last year in May and we still remember it. The atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic, nothing more, nothing less! The lasagna was the most delicious we've ever had, and the risotto was phenomenal! Luckily, we managed to find the address, and next time we're in Rome, we absolutely have to visit!

Al Grottino del Laziale

22/06/2026: A piece of Roman history. I thought it would disappoint me, I thought it was just another restaurant that thrives on its profits. Instead... I discovered it's under new management, but the food is excellent! Honest, straightforward cuisine! Everything is exceptional!
23/05/2026: An authentic Roman trattoria, where you can experience a homey atmosphere and savor authentic traditional cuisine. Each dish is carefully crafted with top-quality ingredients. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.
