Absolutely fantastic! We ate there during our trip to Rome and the staff, the food quality, and the price were all excellent. We were a group of four and with main courses each, drinks, and coffees, the bill came to €70.

We found this restaurant by accident while walking around, and we’re really glad we did. A gentleman outside warmly invited us in and was incredibly friendly, which made a great first impression. The food was average, but the service truly stood out – very kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff made us feel comfortable and appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice place mainly because of the wonderful service.

Consistently great experiences at Da Secondo. The food is always good, prices extremely reasonable and the service is fantastic, with a special mention to Matteo who looked after us for our post 6 Nations celebration. Highly recommend

14/08/2026: We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel receptionist, and I’m so glad we decided to give it a try! The bruschetta was delicious, and the fresh pasta was absolutely amazing. The staff were really friendly and chatty, which created such a lovely atmosphere, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. There are also plenty of tables outside in a great location, making it the perfect spot for sitting back and watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend!
03/08/2026: Price was very high for the area but food was delicious. The staff pressured a bit on tipping a bit.

30/12/2025: We were on the veranda, and I felt a bit chilly, despite the gas stove near the table. The seating (wooden benches) was a bit uncomfortable. The place is very rustic, a typical Roman osteria. We had the porchetta sandwich, which was excellent, as were the gnocchi with both ragù and truffle and sausage. I tried the mutton arrosticini, which were very good, as was the berry crumble. If you like the typical atmosphere of the Castelli Romani restaurants and the simplicity, this is a great place.
27/12/2025: The appetizer was good, the first courses were quite good, but the second courses (mutton skewers and sausages) weren't of good quality. The atmosphere was pleasant.
