05/05/2026: Il Campanaccio remains one of my favorite restaurants in Imola. Everything is prepared with care and professionalism. In addition to the menu, they always offer daily alternatives. Outdoor seating is also available in the summer. Welcoming service. Excellent value for money. Reservations are recommended.

30/11/2025: Was I unlucky? We booked because everyone had spoken well of it and indeed the food was amazing, the place was nice and the staff were very kind... but we ended up in a small isolated room in the basement (very characteristic) with a cold and humidity that was really difficult to stay without the duvet on, we ordered and the waitress had to be in the next room otherwise she couldn't get the signal and place the order, ok no problem, when the appetizer arrived I pointed out to the waitress that the humidity and cold were very noticeable, she told me that it was 20° (true but the dehumidifier in the room was working at full capacity making a nice buzz and absolutely not managing to remove all the humidity present in fact there was a lot, a lot, of mold on the stones of the wall) and that it was hot upstairs so the heating system detected the heat and didn't "pump" anymore, ok when my first course arrived I was offered to move upstairs when we served the second courses and I gladly accepted, when my son's first course arrived, 15 minutes later from When my table arrives, we are told that the proposed table will not be freed up 🤷‍♂️ so we finish eating the first course and decide to have the second courses made in a "cartoccio" and go because in the meantime my wife has already left the restaurant to go and warm up in the car... I pay and leave with my cartoccio and a rather strange experience, good food, slow service but that's okay, I'm in no hurry, but the cold and humidity ruined my lunch

22/04/2026: I came here to eat, not to stay, and I have to say the restaurant is good. It's not the usual classic Romagna cuisine; you can tell they've updated the menu a bit, with some fresher, more contemporary dishes that still remain local. The food is good. After dinner, you can take a stroll outside among the horse stables, which are located on the property. The horses are truly beautiful, and it's worth a visit. The stable hands are friendly and helpful. A quiet, green place, far enough from the hustle and bustle of the coast. I recommend it.

The staff is fantastic: super friendly, attentive, and always smiling. The value for money is also excellent: you get great food for a truly reasonable price. We were there for a kids' soccer tournament, but we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

10/05/2026: Excellent, authentic food. It feels like eating at home. Fast service and a traditional menu. It's a shame that dogs are not allowed, which is a real problem for those like me who don't like being separated from their four-legged friends.

08/05/2026: Food was great here and as a vegetarian you will have plenty of options. Keep in mind that each water bottle for the table is 3.50 euros lol. They also brought out our dinner first before the appetizers, and forgot our bread and I had to remind them. They then picked up a plate that we were still working on but didn’t notice while we were talking. But that being said, it is cool to eat in a place that used to be an old movie theatre! Would come back again. Dessert was great too and I would recommend the fig cheesecake.

16/05/2026: There's no menu; the waiters tell you what's available verbally, and you choose. We arrived and there were already vegetables and dips on the table... the price? Who knows... we didn't even touch them because we didn't want them. Then, without saying anything, they bring you small plates of salami... delicious, of course, but you didn't order them either, and who knows the price? Then the waiters come to take your order, and there's no menu, so they tell you the dishes verbally. You choose, but the price? The wines are the same... the moral of the story is that you eat, but you don't know how much you'll spend until the end. For two of us with a two-year-old daughter, we spent €170... an appetizer shared between two, two cappelletti and a tortello, a tagliata, two desserts, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and a coffee... a bit too expensive. The atmosphere was very noisy. We definitely won't be returning. We had asked for a high chair for the baby but no one bothered to prepare one and give it to us.

One of those trattorias you'll want to return to because, in addition to the delicious food, you're also immersed in the true Romagna atmosphere.
