15/02/2026: A charming place steeped in history. A true Romagna osteria: from the entrance, a spiral staircase leads downstairs. The first thing you'll notice as you descend is the haze of cooked food that fills the room, emanating from the kitchen next to the tables. A blast from the past!

06/03/2026: A quick lunch, excellent fried polenta and squaccherone.
The tortellini in broth were also excellent.

We booked because everyone had spoken well of it and indeed the food was amazing, the place was nice and the staff were very kind... but we ended up in a small isolated room in the basement (very characteristic) with a cold and humidity that was really difficult to stay without the duvet on, we ordered and the waitress had to be in the next room otherwise she couldn't get the signal and place the order, ok no problem, when the appetizer arrived I pointed out to the waitress that the humidity and cold were very noticeable, she told me that it was 20° (true but the dehumidifier in the room was working at full capacity making a nice buzz and absolutely not managing to remove all the humidity present in fact there was a lot, a lot, of mold on the stones of the wall) and that it was hot upstairs so the heating system detected the heat and didn't "pump" anymore, ok when my first course arrived I was offered to move upstairs when we served the second courses and I gladly accepted, when my son's first course arrived, 15 minutes later from When my table arrives, we are told that the proposed table will not be freed up 🤷♂️ so we finish eating the first course and decide to have the second courses made in a "cartoccio" and go because in the meantime my wife has already left the restaurant to go and warm up in the car... I pay and leave with my cartoccio and a rather strange experience, good food, slow service but that's okay, I'm in no hurry, but the cold and humidity ruined my lunch

Here you can enjoy excellent tagliatelle and meats cooked on the spot over the large open fireplace. The tripe is excellent.

15/03/2026: You walk in and it feels like you're entering a 30-year-old trattoria. You immediately notice the vegetables on the table with dips, all ready.
The classic Romagna appetizers arrive shortly afterward, without having ordered them (it's like that for everyone, you know).
Shortly afterward, Roberto, a very particular older gentleman, arrives. He lists the menu and then you choose. The menu is listed, you choose, and off you go.
Special mention goes to the dessert trolleys (there are about 3/4 of them), which are very good and varied.
The place is a trattoria, and after a while they play classical Romagna music at a high volume, which, however, is appreciated in such a setting, and you can still converse at the table.

The quality of the ingredients is evident in every course: from the hand-rolled pasta dishes, bursting with tradition, to the perfectly cooked meats. The service is attentive and courteous, with a touch of friendliness that makes the experience unforgettable. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. A true gem in Massa Lombarda that never disappoints!

09/03/2026: I've never written negative reviews, but I'm leaving one star for a truly disastrous evening.
I'll start by saying that my friends and I have been to this place several times before and have always had a great experience, but what happened this time was unacceptable.
We arrived at 8:30 PM and immediately ordered our first and second courses, including the rabbit. After eating the first courses, we waited an hour and a half for the second courses, only to be told that the rabbit was out. This can happen, so we ordered more grilled meat.
After a further wait, the meat arrived: one rib was cold, and I simply pointed it out without even sending it back. When I ordered the second one, the blonde waitress sarcastically said, "I wanted to point out that this is hot and burning hot."
When my friend pointed out that this wasn't the right way to address a customer, she continued in a rude tone and raised her voice.
When paying, I told the owner what had happened at the table regarding the waitress's rudeness. Instead of apologizing, the same waitress began yelling at me in a loud voice, even pointing her finger.
The owner offered a half-hearted apology, even involving the kitchen staff, and was mothering me, even calling me a child.
Mistakes happen, but disrespect and rudeness toward customers are unacceptable. All of this was seen and felt by the people at my table as well.
16/02/2026: Excellent, authentic food. The first courses are all homemade: tagliatelle, ravioli, and gnocchi, and sometimes even cappelletti. The roast meat is delicious. Prices are very reasonable. The place is very informal, almost homey.

07/03/2026: The atmosphere is modern and the waiters are friendly. The tagliolini allo scoglio were awful, in my opinion, and anything but seafood. The dessert was inedible; the pistachio sorbet tasted like green ice cream. Totally tasteless.

15/02/2026: We went there for the first time last night with another couple of friends for dinner. What can I say? It was a fantastic discovery. The food was all delicious and also super plentiful. The waitress recommended we get second helpings for just three people, and in fact, we filled all four plates and had enough left over for second helpings. Potato tortelli and pappardelle with ham and porcini mushrooms were truly spectacular, as were the cold cuts with fried piadina and even the grilled meat, truly excellent. The staff were super friendly, smiling and professional, the atmosphere was refined and welcoming, and finally, the price was MORE THAN FAIR. In short, if you're in the area, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!!!! Oh, I almost forgot because we didn't take advantage of it, but they also have a gluten-free menu.

01/01/2026: An unforgettable New Year's Eve 2026! We chose this restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner and couldn't have made a better choice. The organization was impeccable: despite the restaurant being packed, the service was seamless and the staff were always smiling and helpful. The refined menu featured top-quality ingredients and the live music created the perfect atmosphere without ever being intrusive. A perfect way to start the new year!
30/12/2025: Excellent restaurant, with a wide selection of dishes, including pizza, meat, and fish. The meat selection is excellent, with excellent quality meats.
The restaurant is spacious with ample private parking.
The wine cellar is also good, with a good selection of beers and wines.
They offer traditional Romagna dishes as well as more unusual options.
The staff is friendly, precise, and attentive.
Prices are absolutely average and fair for the quality of the products.

09/03/2026: We went there last Saturday 7th March and I have to say that we had a really good time, the food was very good, the first and second courses of meat were really interesting and we would return. The only flaw, if it can be considered such, is that it is not a very big place, so book a little in advance, especially on Saturdays. Recommended.
06/03/2026: Dopo il rinnovo, locale grazioso, come il chiosco nel prato. Peccato per le tante potenzialità non sfruttate.

24/01/2026: I went for the mutton because I'd heard good things about it.
Unfortunately, the advice wasn't good.
I don't know what cut of mutton it was, but it wasn't ribs, leg, or scabby undersides.
It was stringy with nerves, cartilage, and bones. Plus, the few pieces of meat were like shoe soles.
A terrible experience.
