What a lucky find! We were cycling from Rimini along the river and stopped here for lunch. It was packed full of locals and really busy but the staff had plenty of time to explain the dishes and make recommendations. The food was a treat, a wide range of local specialties. If you are lucky enough to be in this area then take the time here for a real Italian experience.

The best place for lunch! They offer a daily menu, but the quality is truly top-notch. Add to this the courtesy and efficiency of the service. I don't think there's anything in the area with the same "QUALITY"/price ratio. Kudos to all the staff! 👍

This historic osteria-style restaurant is known for its traditional recipes, which are rare to find in a typical suburban restaurant. Its recipes for cod and snails are well-known, and the meat-based main courses vary daily, offering a wide variety. Here you can find tripe, cockerel, deviled chicken or chicken cacciatore, lean pork, and mixed grill. Appetizers include a variety of cured meats, crostini, and pickled vegetables. Among the first courses, there are some typical dishes, such as cappelletti in broth and passata with sauces, sometimes seasonal.
The atmosphere is clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Ample parking is available in front of the restaurant and in the courtyard.

Dinner with friends last night at Zaganti. It's a classic, down-to-earth Romagna trattoria, where substance over form is the focus.
We shared a bit of everything, starting with a simple yet hearty house appetizer of cured meats, pickled vegetables, and crostini. The first courses, tagliatelle with ragù and cappelletti in broth, were made with a rolling pin, as they should be.
For the second courses, we opted for bold flavors: tripe (perhaps the best I've ever tasted), snails, and chicken cacciatore, all flavorful and typical local dishes. This was followed by a grilled meat with cabbage on the side. We finished with their signature porcospino, a squacquerone and fig mousse, and castagnole. The Vignalmonte di Podere Vecciano paired well throughout the evening.
Don't expect stunning dishes or elaborate presentations, but solid cuisine and a casual, comfortable atmosphere without too many frills. The quality-price ratio is absolutely in line. Super friendly and helpful staff... I'll gladly go back!
