A very nice, typical restaurant, suitable for both lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, we went on May 1st. The restaurant was very crowded, with only one woman serving about ten tables. She was a very nice lady, but unfortunately she couldn't manage a dozen tables, and it took us an hour and a half to eat one dish, which wasn't very pleasant. The portions were also barely adequate, and the food was average. If they speed up the service, I think I'll return, but only for a snack and not on days when there's a lot of tourism. Otherwise, it's ok.

There's no point in taking 200 orders if the kitchen and staff aren't up to the task. Waiting three hours for an appetizer and main course seems excessive to me. Good, but the organization needs improvement.

It is the kind of place where the surroundings add to the whole experience. The staff were very attentive and made us feel well looked after from beginning to end. A great choice in Imola for both the food and the setting.

05/05/2026: Il Campanaccio remains one of my favorite restaurants in Imola. Everything is prepared with care and professionalism. In addition to the menu, they always offer daily alternatives. Outdoor seating is also available in the summer. Welcoming service. Excellent value for money. Reservations are recommended.
