20/07/2025: In the area for work, a local colleague invited me to try this restaurant, a true local food institution. What struck me most was how family-run it is, passed down from generation to generation. So much so that, while we were there, the son of one of the former owners (now retired) was there with his two very young children, extremely busy but visibly satisfied with their work. The strong point remains the excellent traditional local food, accompanied by fair prices—something that is far from a given these days. A super welcoming place, and dishes cooked with love and passion. The historical articles hanging on the walls are excellent, original and unique. 12/08/2025: A 3-hour tour de force for an appetizer, a first course, and a second course. Extremely slow service and a scorching outdoor seating area. Excellent carpaccio with truffle, but subpar first courses...passatelli with no mushroom cream and fading truffle, but with lots and lots of cream. Pappardelle with wild boar that looks like ragù!? Extremely taut tagliata, cleverly covered with layers of fossa cheese to hide the poor quality of the meat...the coffee is forgettable. €120 for 3 people wasted...I highly recommend another restaurant...maybe the Sangiovesa!

11/08/2025: A historic restaurant in Santarcangelo. It recently moved a short distance from its original location, expanding but without losing its characteristic atmosphere. Traditional Romagna cuisine. Recommended for its grilled meats.

06/08/2025: Our visit to Il Quartino was perfect. Even driving in was wonderful; there are many cats there, which our daughter loved. The service staff is very friendly, courteous, and competent. The food was excellent; the antipasti, first courses, and second courses were excellent. We'll gladly return, and next time we'll have dessert.

The appetizers and first courses are delicious, including the piadina. Wine is self-service on tap, but the quality is poor (both white and red). Unfortunately, the meat significantly lowers the overall quality of the menu: poorly cooked, raw on the inside, and burnt on the outside.
