21/08/2024: Without a doubt the best dining experience I have ever had in Italy, and in contention of all time. The setting of the dining area and food itself are so true to the local area. The staff were both friendly and professional from the moment you walk in the door to your departure and took pride in explaining the sources of their ingredients, which are almost entirely drawn from the local area. A landmark of Puglian cuisine, and a must stop for anyone traveling through the area!

17/08/2024: Recently relocated on a terrace with wonderful views on Trani medieval castle, the Di Gennaro family built a close to perfection fine dining Apulian experience. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside, refined and perfectly blended in the environment. The service was excellent, kind and friendly with invading our spaces. The restaurant had also no problem into accommodating variations on the menu proposed. But let’s come to the reason to come here, the gastronomical offer of Quintessenza is deeply rooted into the chef local background, relying on seafood and not being afraid of using staples of the regional cuisine twisting them into something more. The menu we tried was a crescendo in intensity and depth but keeping its balance all the way through from the amuses to the dessert. Personal favourites are the Tortellini and the Fusillone with a mention for the Alici fritte and the Coffee almond and lemon dessert.

28/07/2024: Passing through for a Sunday lunch, never was a more appropriate choice. Cozy and well-kept environment. Pasquale is an excellent host, you can sense the passion and craft that animate his work. We left it to him: the table soon became a palette of colors and flavors that know how to nourish in the deepest sense of the term. We couldn't choose between the two first courses of the day so we tried them both. Hard to decide which was the best. Very good house red wine. Excellent value for money. Ultimately, a highly recommended place, especially for those who want to support local businesses - and who valorise local ingredients and knowledge - in a family and relaxing atmosphere, with fast and attentive service. 02/08/2024: I went there for lunch on the recommendation of locals. Let me start by saying that the place is impeccable in terms of quality/price ratio, but it cannot be defined as a real restaurant. The dishes are served with the speed of a diner. This affects the quality of the dish, however - due to low prices - it is accepted.

28/08/2024: Hi, we were a few days ago because we were on holiday and unfortunately we didn't have a great time. We took some parsley tagliolini with seafood and in the dishes we found two tiny mussels and two prawns and the octopus with a potato base and the octopus was hard and we also had ordered the chicory which was sautéed chard unfortunately disappointing

28/08/2024: Very nice place in the historic center of Noci, nice and friendly service and staff and also very fast (which is not a given in the area) the food reminded me of some dishes that my grandmothers prepared.. well done, keep going like this..

14/08/2024: I was here last night with my husband... excellent culinary experience! We hadn't booked but they immediately gave us a table. Truly excellent and delicious dishes. My seafood starter the 'Diplomatico with blue prawn and beluga caviar' was a mystical experience!!! I have never eaten anything so good. Perfect combination of ingredients. The girl who served us throughout the evening was very kind and friendly. A refined and classy place with fresh and excellent ingredients. I will definitely be back!

25/08/2024: La Locanda di Nonna Mena is like going to dinner with dear friends, you feel welcomed and pampered and enjoy good simple food in a relaxed and relaxed atmosphere, if you happen to be in San Vito dei Normanni go there! (but book in advance, the place is small, which is another of its good qualities, serving a few at a time with care and attention) PS: our little dog Oliver misses his Nanny who spoiled him with some delicious biscuits! Absolutely honest prices!

11/08/2024: The evening spent yesterday at MarDivino was unexpectedly delicious. Nice and elegant environment, courteous and precise service. I really liked the atmosphere, in the garden of the restaurant, with the background of refined and soft music, well-spaced tables that allowed the right intimacy. Our dinner began with an appreciated entrée from the kitchen, we then continued with a couple of appetizers, for my husband the Mosaic of home-smoked fish, on beech shavings... from swordfish, to sea bass, to mackerel , with tuna and salmon with home-produced vegetable giardiniera and prickly pear mustard, the dish was more than approved. For me, however, the choice fell on the rock octopus cooked on the grill marinated in scapece, accompanied by a potato millefeuille and speck, all soft and tasty. We then continued with two seconds. From the slice of grilled sea bass with crispy wafer of vinegar pearls and meunière sauce, to the composition of shellfish au gratin with mashed potatoes and busara sauce, everything was fully appreciated. The worthy conclusion of the dinner was the dessert chosen by both of us, a sphere of raspberries and pistachios sanded with coconut with gianduia namelaka and cocoa earth, a temptation we didn't want to give up. Ultimately, we were fully satisfied with the dinner, the prices were in line with the environment and what was offered by the quality products. Definitely recommended!

23/08/2024: After a visit to the Castellana caves we decided to go to lunch in this restaurant, we started with a truly excellent mixed house starter, consisting of six courses: burrata that melted in the mouth, local pecorino, omelettes with vegetables, meatballs with sauce , asparagus wrapped in bacon baked au gratin and finally capocollo of Martina Franca top. Followed by spaghetti with mussels and datterini tomatoes and tagliolini with speck, fried aubergines and cherry tomatoes. Followed by mozzarella wrapped in bacon cooked on the grill and aubergines parmesan, all truly exceptional. The only flaw found in the midst of so much perfection, the chef doesn't blame me, was some cooked ham in the parmigiana which we didn't like very much. The service is friendly and attentive, The prices are more than fair for what they offer. Highly recommended.

21/08/2024: Apparently a quality restaurant for tourists, which turns out to be a pleasant surprise: a table where Salento cuisine is offered in its truest tradition, from appetizers to desserts it's all a journey into tradition... and last but not least. ... coffee made with the Moka. Congratulations to the owner and his staff for their kindness and professionalism

20/08/2024: Excellent experience in every sense. We ended up by chance at 'Scante, in fact after finding various restaurants full, we were directed to one of the points of this group right there. The manager was incredible both for the advice on the courses and for the attention given to us and to everyone in the restaurant. We were looked after and treated impeccably by the staff. As regards the quality of the dishes, it must necessarily be said "excellent", given the level. I took everything on advice, trusting blindly: 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 second course and dessert. I split the starters and also tasted all the others' dishes and the standard was the same. The price is honest, perhaps too much considering the high quality of the food. As soon as we return to Lecce, 'Scante will be an obligatory stop to appreciate traditional cuisine in a truly pleasant environment. Compliments.

28/07/2024: Osteria where you feel pampered and at home. The food is homemade but cooked with a lot of attention to the ingredients (strictly local) and with a lot of love. For us, an obligatory stop on Sunday. Today an extraordinary burnt wheat troccolo with sausage tips sauce and a very tender beef stew. What more do you want from life? A house liqueur? There's that too!

27/07/2024: Tried it during lunch break, thanks to the suggestion of friends; the outside is not particularly inviting but as soon as you open the door you enter a modern but warm dining room like "grandma's"! The menu already provides a clear possibility of choice but then the owner, explaining the dishes, certainly gives excellent advice for choosing based on tastes. The food, although simple, is generally made using products that are easily available locally and is very tasty for particular combinations, even if not typical of traditional Apulian cuisine. Definitely worth trying again without hesitation!
