10/05/2026: Last night we decided to come to this restaurant to try the classic tasting menu. High expectations, which were met with discretion. The menu was varied but with subtle flavors, which nevertheless left me with some hesitation. Five-star service, attentive to detail, but perhaps I would have appreciated a more relaxed approach, especially when dealing with young customers. I believe a smile is always the key to great success. The highlight is undoubtedly the tortellino with ricotta, red shrimp, and bisque. Overall, the place is beautiful, the staff are knowledgeable, but given the final bill, perhaps they should be more selective with their tastes, in my opinion. Very interesting wine, with a wide variety of labels, including natural and quality wines. There's a cellar downstairs that you can visit. In any case, the flavors are delicate, and we definitely recommend trying it if you're in Trani. Thank you.

We opted for a seafood menu and were impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the bold yet perfectly balanced combinations. ​The courses: The experience began with creative and expert appetizers: the citrus-flavored anchovies and the contrast between the shrimp and passion fruit were spectacular. Honorable mention goes to the porcini-crusted burrata, an explosion of local flavors, and the tender red tuna burger. The salmon with fresh cheese and turnip was also very refined, along with the asparagus rolls and the perfectly cooked white sea bream fillet. ​The highlight was the first course: a homemade pasta dish filled with monkfish, red shrimp, and sea asparagus, all tied together by a delicate yellow cherry tomato sauce. A truly memorable balance of seafood flavors. Desserts: To round things off, the desserts were a true delight. 10/05/2026: The restaurant is pleasant and the service is friendly, but the spaghetti with clams for €18 was disappointing: there were about 10 shells on the plate, only 7 of which actually contained clams. I mentioned this at the cashier and was simply told they'd report it. It's a shame, because from a restaurant of this caliber, I expected more generosity on the main ingredient of the dish.

03/05/2026: Good morning, on 02/05/2026 I went with my wife to Al Gambero for dinner, everything was fine, the staff were absolutely friendly and efficient, the polenta with creamed cod was excellent, the tagliolini with truffle was the same, I will definitely be back with my wife and children, the staff were very friendly!

13/04/2026: An excellent experience in Noci at Al Boschetto. Convenient location and excellent service, with friendly, prompt, and honest staff who warned us about the generous portions. The appetizers are the real highlight: plentiful, varied, and absolutely unmissable, a true immersion in local flavors. The meat is also excellent; the large rib-eye steak is truly spectacular in size, yet still quite thin. Prices are absolutely fair for the excellent quality and abundance offered. It's best to book well in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.

26/04/2026: April 25, 2026, booked at this educational farm located near Lizzano and adjacent to the famous DUE PALME winery. Plenty of space, a swimming pool, a children's playground, a huge soccer field (or other field), and a designated area for those who want to prepare their own meals or have a picnic, with benches and tables under the olive trees, therefore in the shade, and a series of stations for grilling meat or other dishes. I think there are two options: have everything prepared by the restaurant and they'll let you know when it's ready and you have to go and pick it up, or you can make your own, but obviously buy everything you need from them—sausage, chicken livers, bombette, and more, including drinks—meaning it seems like you can't bring anything from home. We ate inside, a rustic restaurant with wooden tables and chairs. The set menu included a fairly varied and plentiful appetizer, everything was good, followed by a first and second course of meat. They use lemon extensively, for those who like it, creating some unique dishes. As mentioned, the Masseria is attached, adjacent to the Due Palme winery, so we expected a wider selection of wines for those who wanted to go beyond the set menu, but that's not the case, even if the few they did have were still appreciated.

A pleasant setting, a warm welcome, a concise menu, and a 6 or 8-course tasting menu worthy of the finest establishments. Refined, well-conceived, and flavorful, the dishes are original and expertly prepared, offering cuisine that is both authentic and contemporary. In short, we highly recommend it.

His baked potatoes... No one beats them. The pizza chef is also very good and friendly. Personally, this restaurant deserved a 10⭐, but here it's a maximum of 5.

04/05/2026: Our second visit in a month, again tempted in by the live music. This time a trio playing bossa nova. My starter was advertised as a fried egg and I was intrigued to see how they could make such a humble breakfast item into a restaurant quality dish. They somehow managed to cover it in a crumb coating on a creamy pea puree base with crispy bacon. Excellent. Mary prawns were very good. For main I had a deliciously succulent pork. Mary’s tagliate di manzo (beef) was beautifully pink and tender all the way through.

13/04/2026: Not just a pizzeria but a full menu restaurant. We have dined there several times before. On this occasion we were tempted in by live music. Mary and I shared a couple of starters: prawns with yellow tomato coulis and thinly sliced roast beef. For the main course Mary went for fish with wilted greens and I had ravioli stuffed with chicken served with asparagus. Everything was delicious and clearly cooked freshly to order. An observation – Italian children are well behaved in restaurants because they are introduced to dining out from a very early age. There was a little girl who was clearly enjoying the music.
