12/10/2025: A top-notch venue, both traditional and modern, with extremely kind and attentive staff and a friendly and knowledgeable chef. The only flaw with Michelin-starred restaurants is the wine prices, which are inadequate and overpriced. I would have paid more for dinner but definitely less for the wine. I don't like this business.

10/10/2025: There's a place in Trani called Quintessenza that we Apulians should visit at least once in our lives. It speaks of our roots, of family strength, and of respect for nature. It was incredible to see how a mackerel, a notoriously underrated fish, or how a few arugula leaves thoughtfully placed on a plate, or even a sponge cake soaked in oil, can make one's soul reflect on who we are and how we should respect what nature offers us every day. The journey isn't just about food, but also about the soul, which the chef and his brothers bring out with every course of the tasting menu. If you're looking for an experience where your brain struggles to comprehend what's happening in your mouth, go there—you won't regret it. I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria “Pensavo Peggio” during my recent trip to Rimini, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my visit. 👍 What stood out: - Warm, welcoming service — the owner and staff explain the dishes with pride and care. - Fresh seafood offerings: I tried the mussels, shrimp skewers, and fried calamari, all beautifully presented and flavorful. - Excellent homemade pasta and standout tiramisu. - Cozy, intimate ambiance that makes you feel right at home. - Very fair pricing for the quality of food and service.

10/10/2025: A charming, welcoming place where kindness reigns supreme. It's not located on the main road, but it's easy to get to and parking is easier. We reserved a table on the covered veranda, made charming by a cascade of thousands of fairy lights. The cuisine is typical of the area, tasty dishes and quality ingredients. They serve both meat and fish, so the selection is varied. The seafood carbonara is excellent, and the baked sea bass is even more so, which I highly recommend. Emilio and Angelo pampered us, and we returned the next evening. Good value.

12/10/2025: A small, authentic restaurant with excellent traditional food and a good wine selection. The mixed antipasti are amazing! And the eggplant parmesan is world-class! Everything is fresh and prepared with local produce. The service is very attentive, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We go there often and almost feel like family.

06/10/2025: Wow wow wow I'd give it more than 5 star if I could. A very small local spot with a fantastic owner who put up with my bad Italian pronunciation and looked after us incredibly well. A small menu of dishes cooked to perfection. Exceptional wine. A few things thrown in like olive, bread, biscuits which is always nice. Thank you very much!

16/10/2025: the mezzi paccheri was the best pasta. even though it was undercooked, the server brought out another version... then,. the 3 pastas (tortelli di burratina raviolino) and the mixed grilled meats were awesome. the local sausage is GREAT! grazie mille.

29/09/2025: Everything was delicious! A place where you can also eat Apulian food in Bologna! We ordered various appetizers, including the exceptional fava bean purée with crostini and porcini mushrooms, excellent crescentine and cured meats. For our first course, we had the tagliatelle with mushrooms: delicious, as was the main course (orecchiette with meatballs and roulade). The house wine was really good! Fast service and friendly staff. Prices were average. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The staff is available to offer seasonal and personalized recommendations. The well-curated wine list perfectly complements the traditional dishes, revisited with balance and respect. A great added value is the constant presence of the owners, who with discretion and professionalism ensure every detail is in place, making the experience even more special and intimate. As a Salento native who has traveled the world, I consider this a place to recommend and return to time and again, certain of quality, hospitality, and authenticity. Reservations are highly recommended.

28/09/2025: This place was a lovely discovery! The atmosphere is beautiful and tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, the food is truly delicious, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying it if you're in Ceglie Messapica; we'll definitely be back!

13/09/2025: We had lunch outside; the place is truly enchanting. The menu includes both meat and fish; we only had fish, and I must say it was all very good, and the portions were quite generous. The service is impeccable; the waitresses are very kind and describe each dish perfectly. The prices aren't low, but considering the quality of the place, that's acceptable.
