You can sense a great deal of research behind every offering, always focused on the palate. The service is impeccable: discreet, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. The wine selection is also excellent, with pairings designed to enhance each dish. The atmosphere is refined, intimate, and relaxing, perfect for a high-end dining experience. A restaurant that is definitely worth a visit and represents one of the finest examples of Apulian cuisine.

09/07/2026: My French friend and I dined at this magnificent "cadre" and were thrilled with both the culinary experience and their impeccable service. Starting with the extremely professional welcome we received at the reception. The best thing was that they made us feel at home with delicious dishes, which is not a given in locations like this, and the bill was fair, I must say. A special mention goes to Simone, Domenico, Pasquale, Giandomenico, and Saverio.

10/05/2026: The restaurant is pleasant and the service is friendly, but the spaghetti with clams for €18 was disappointing: there were about 10 shells on the plate, only 7 of which actually contained clams. I mentioned this at the cashier and was simply told they'd report it. It's a shame, because from a restaurant of this caliber, I expected more generosity on the main ingredient of the dish.

03/05/2026: Good morning, on 02/05/2026 I went with my wife to Al Gambero for dinner, everything was fine, the staff were absolutely friendly and efficient, the polenta with creamed cod was excellent, the tagliolini with truffle was the same, I will definitely be back with my wife and children, the staff were very friendly!

30/07/2026: What a disappointment... We arrived at this lovely restaurant, and the promise was excellent given the very characteristic location. However, it took an hour just to order, and the food was anything but typical... A place for tourists who leave happy because they don't know Italian food. Definitely avoid.

26/07/2026: A real guarantee. We had been here about eight years ago, and returning this year, we found the same excellent quality we remembered. We had a wonderful time: refined dishes, perfectly balanced in flavor, and truly delicious, prepared with great care. An experience that fully met our expectations. Highly recommended!

This place is definitely worth a visit, and I would gladly return.

26/04/2026: April 25, 2026, booked at this educational farm located near Lizzano and adjacent to the famous DUE PALME winery. Plenty of space, a swimming pool, a children's playground, a huge soccer field (or other field), and a designated area for those who want to prepare their own meals or have a picnic, with benches and tables under the olive trees, therefore in the shade, and a series of stations for grilling meat or other dishes. I think there are two options: have everything prepared by the restaurant and they'll let you know when it's ready and you have to go and pick it up, or you can make your own, but obviously buy everything you need from them—sausage, chicken livers, bombette, and more, including drinks—meaning it seems like you can't bring anything from home. We ate inside, a rustic restaurant with wooden tables and chairs. The set menu included a fairly varied and plentiful appetizer, everything was good, followed by a first and second course of meat. They use lemon extensively, for those who like it, creating some unique dishes. As mentioned, the Masseria is attached, adjacent to the Due Palme winery, so we expected a wider selection of wines for those who wanted to go beyond the set menu, but that's not the case, even if the few they did have were still appreciated.

13/04/2026: An excellent experience in Noci at Al Boschetto. Convenient location and excellent service, with friendly, prompt, and honest staff who warned us about the generous portions. The appetizers are the real highlight: plentiful, varied, and absolutely unmissable, a true immersion in local flavors. The meat is also excellent; the large rib-eye steak is truly spectacular in size, yet still quite thin. Prices are absolutely fair for the excellent quality and abundance offered. It's best to book well in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.

27/07/2026: An intimate place, away from the tourist crowds. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the food is plentiful and delicious (fresh fish). The desserts, all homemade, are a must-try.

14/07/2026: Dinner with friends, tables outside, quiet street. Mr. Luigi was delicious, like everything we ate. I asked questions because I was curious, and I learned that he was in the same business, so I learned that it was a family-run business that was coming of age this year. The recommended wine was perfect for us, and the fava beans and friggitelli were also really good. The attention to detail in the bathroom was exceptional. Well done! And so much passion and patience...

10/08/2026: We had lunch at Osteria Pein Assut during a trip to Altamura and it was a fantastic discovery. The location is immediately striking: the space is furnished with extraordinary taste and originality, successfully combining a welcoming atmosphere with stylish details. The service was impeccable: attentive, thoughtful, and always smiling, the staff made guests feel welcome from the first to the last minute. The cuisine deserves a special mention. The traditional first courses, revisited with a modern, gourmet twist, are simply delicious. The choice to highlight local ingredients while maintaining a perfect balance between innovation and substance is greatly appreciated: the portions are decidedly generous, which is far from a given when it comes to sophisticated plating. An excellent experience in every way. Highly recommended if you're in Altamura and looking for quality cuisine in a unique setting!

10/08/2026: A true hidden gem in Cisternino/Apulia. A very pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious Italian cuisine at fair prices. Reservations for the rooftop terrace are highly recommended.

09/08/2026: A decidedly unpleasant experience, one not to be repeated. We waited over an hour without receiving our dishes. When we asked for an explanation, we were told they would bring everything together, from appetizers to main courses. Our order had obviously been forgotten or handled very poorly. We left the restaurant after about two and a half hours, leaving behind some of the dishes we'd ordered because we were no longer hungry. The worst part? When it came time to get the bill, not even an apology or a gesture of attention. A terrible experience, both in terms of the service and the total lack of professionalism and consideration for the customer. An experience definitely not to be repeated.
