The atmosphere is welcoming, meticulously crafted, with an almost theatrical rustic-elegant ambiance, instantly transporting you away from the chaos of the city. Cuisine: The dishes are crafted with precision and respect for the ingredients. The risotto alla Milanese is impeccable: perfectly creamed, well-balanced saffron, and cooked al dente like a true master. The ossobuco? Tender, flavorful, with a well-reduced stock that doesn't overpower the delicate marrow. A great classic, properly prepared. The "elephant ear" cutlet also deserves a mention: evenly browned, excellent crispiness, juicy meat—the care taken in choosing the cut and frying is evident. Wine list: Interesting, with good Lombard labels and some thoughtfully chosen national selections. The wine cellar may lack a touch of boldness, but the selection is consistent with the culinary offerings. Service: Professional but not intrusive, with attentive and well-trained staff. The wait times between courses are short, but justifiable in a setting that values calm and conviviality. Points for improvement? If I really had to find a point: the desserts, while beautifully presented, don't hold up to the strength of the savory dishes. The torta paesana, for example, could gain in structure and character. Furthermore, given the quality of the setting and cuisine, greater attention to managing the acoustics of the rooms (during peak periods) would further enhance the experience. Conclusion: Al Garghet is a must-visit for those who want to experience authentic Milanese cuisine in a unique atmosphere. One of those rare establishments where time seems to stand still, and every dish tells a story. I can only appreciate its strong identity and consistent execution. A place to mark in red.

21/07/2025: I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The waiters are super friendly and very responsive. The food is very good - I recommend risotto con ossobuco - and the portions are huge. Overall I am satisfied with my experience at this restaurant. Also, i went in July, but i think it would be great for Christmas times. Just be sure to reserve before going, and if you want a specific cotoletta, it must be ordered beforehand.

26/06/2025: We went to La Pesa and were very satisfied. As tourists we ordered a cotoletta alla milanese. The cotoletta was delicious, crispy and tasty breading, tender meat, cooked to perfection accompanied by some home-made baked potatoes that were a great accompaniment - no frozen chips, and the accompanying sauce added a touch that we really appreciated. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. A great experience, we will definitely be back!

08/07/2025: Very pleasant place, an elegant csscina nestled between the buildings of a popular area, just behind the municipal market. Lombard menu but not only. Remarkable cellar, described by a good sommelier. Let yourself be guided: we had mixed appetizers, excellent, and the colossal cotoletta: excellent meat and cooking, extra quantity even for big forks! A tip: it is a perfect place for dinners for two, distanced tables and soft atmosphere. Adequate bill.

01/07/2025: Delicious food, amazing Tartar and space to sit and eat (something very rare in Europe). The Tartar and the Filet with Green Pepper were delicious. Very good service. Spacious tables (very rare in Europe).

10/07/2025: We found this restaurant by chance. The girl at the entrance looked us up and down simply because we were dressed casually (like tourists). She asked if we wanted to look at the menu before entering to see if the prices were right for us. This already annoyed us greatly. Annoyed, we went to our table, which was a shame because it was completely isolated from the other diners, in a dark corner of the room. We patiently ordered an appetizer, a risotto, a cutlet, and a glass of wine each. We watched the sommelier go to the other tables, but he never came to serve us, so we asked for wine again. After a few minutes, a waitress came over and served us! We truly felt like unwelcome customers, treated so rudely and senselessly! We finished our dinner and left feeling really irritated... to top it all off, they were really showing off, but the food wasn't all that great either: the risotto was a bit salty, the cutlet was dry, and the dip was wilted... As far as we're concerned, we'll never come back!

23/05/2025: We have come here for dinner several times with my boyfriend and we have also brought our parents and we have always had a wonderful time. The last dinner last week I had a portion of tagliolini with asparagus and bitto and a portion of risotto alla milanese divided in two. The service is a little slow but kind and everything is made on the spot. Prices slightly lower than the Milanese average.

28/06/2025: Excellent family-run restaurant. The risotto alla milanese and the cutlet are delicious, and the service is friendly, efficient and fast. Compliments to the owners' daughter for her kindness and consideration towards our dog. Those who love animals have an edge. And compliments also to the father both for the excellent dishes he prepares, and for the cool blood he had when a group of rude people made a fuss about the bill.
