The place is very nice, the service is fast, and the food is exceptionally good. Unfortunately, however, the attitude of the manager ruined the atmosphere of our lunch with colleagues. Arriving two minutes before opening (with a reservation), we were coldly dismissed as "still closed," only to be late opening. There was no friendliness during the meal: the gentleman constantly seemed annoyed and nervous. The food is good, but the hospitality, unfortunately, is lacking.

23/06/2026: The experience was excellent, and the risotto alla Milanese with rustin negàa was sublime. I recommend trying it! The tranquil atmosphere allows you to recharge and decompress after a busy day at work.
14/06/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We went for lunch yesterday to celebrate a birthday and found a welcoming place with a family atmosphere. The decor was very tastefully decorated and clean... the real surprise was the food: traditional Milanese dishes and more, generous portions, and exceptionally delicious. Reasonable prices, and the owner is friendly and welcoming... I highly recommend trying Osteria al Portone; everything from appetizers to dessert was exceptional!

15/05/2026: Had a great experience at Osteria Il Melograno in Milan. The mozzarella and stracciatella show was a real highlight — fresh, authentic, and fun to watch. The quality of the dairy products really stands out, and the atmosphere feels warm and genuinely pugliese. A lovely place for anyone who enjoys fresh flavors and a unique dining experience.
12/05/2026: This is a must if you’re in Milan Italy. Off the beaten path. Call ahead or reserve online. Husband, wife and son since 1998. It doesn’t get any closer to an authentic home cooked meal. 15 out of 10..!
