A very nice and welcoming place. I went with my family to try traditional Milanese dishes. I'm vegetarian and was able to try the risotto alla Milanese, which is available in a vegetarian version here. We enjoyed everything we ate. The service was attentive, friendly, and approachable. We had a great time here. The price was reasonable for the quality.

A sunny Sunday in April, Milan was almost deserted, the area was quiet. I found a parking spot 30 meters from the restaurant, and it was already off to a great start. The outdoor table offered a traditional Milanese menu, but not limited to it. The three of us ordered different dishes: appetizers, first courses, and desserts. There wasn't a single dish that was wrong; they were all delicious and well-served, even the wine was exceptional. We'll be back to try the second courses as well.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff, simple service, appropriate for the setting. There were two of us, and we both ordered the risotto with ossobuco. Unfortunately, they were both significantly overcooked and lacked flavor. I hope it was just an unfortunate accident, but it's a shame. There's definitely room for improvement. Cheers!

An intimate venue, excellent food, with a special mention for the risotto with chicken livers and caramelized red onion. Generous portions at fair prices. Good wine selection.

Antica Trattoria della Pesa

13/06/2026: We chose Trattoria della Pesa on the recommendation of friends. The staff was accommodating regarding reservations. As soon as we sat down, we were brought delicious off-menu fried meatballs. For starters, we tried the chef of the day's pappardelle (good and light). For main courses, we opted for the veal cutlet and sautéed rice with lamb kidneys. The former is a classic, the latter a discovery (despite not being a fan of animal offal). For dessert, we tried the cold zabaglione (absolutely delicious, perhaps less so than the raspberries) and the lemon and mandarin sorbet (very good).
09/06/2026: Welcoming place, excellent service, we had the risotto and the Milanese cutlet, the first very good, the second decent, thank you and goodbye.

01/05/2026: We were here in April 2026 for lunch. Initially we were looking for a pizza (which they do not have on the menu) but then stayed anyway. It was totally worth it: starting with the delicious focaccia and an appetizer, followed by carpaccio and pasta. Serving was a bit slow but service was super attentive, and the 3 EUR fee you pay for the 'coperto' is worth every cent since you get a constant feed of fresh and delicious bread and snacks and appetizers :-) Prices appear to be normal for the centre of Milano. Recommended!
