Trattoria Isoletta In Mediglia

I had dinner here with some friends. The location is very nice, a traditional trattoria. Exactly like the menu which offers numerous dishes typical of the Lombard tradition. Our friends had a platter of cold cuts as an appetizer which I did not taste, but I can say that the salami was cut 1 cm thick. The dishes we took: two first courses (the photos of which I attach) and a second course of meat were not very good. In particular, the second course of pork with potatoes was excessively oily and the potatoes seemed boiled rather than baked, we couldn't finish it. The staff was unprepared: one waiter listed the crème brulé among the desserts, while the other then claimed that it was not part of their menu. It wasn't a disastrous experience, but neither was it up to what one would expect from a good Lombard restaurant.

Dinner with friends, nice welcoming place and excellent food... kind and friendly staff. We often return for 5 star lunches or dinners!

Excellent food and very good desserts. Trattoria-like place, but really good food. Definitely worth trying and coming back again and again.

Large restaurant. The food is good, like at home. The portions of the first courses are a little small. We tried the lamb, it was gorgeous. Tiramisu is top! All food is very hot. It was a pleasure having dinner here.

Visited for a business lunch. Pleasant environment and average service. Good food (Milanese risotto with sausage), typical Milanese/Lombard dishes on the menu. Price slightly above average but deserved. Ample free parking available.

Frequento abitualmente questo ristorante e non sono mai rimasto deluso! Ottima cucina milanese, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Risotto giallo con ossobuco è il mio preferito ma comunque ce una vasta scelta di piatti della tradizione milanese. Personale accogliente e simpatico! Consigliato il dehor esterno con il glicine in fiore... !

Ristorante che conosciamo da tempo, siamo tornati per provare il risotto alla milanese con ossobuco. Il riso era davvero buono,saporito e cottura perfetta, mentre il mio ossobuco l’ho trovato quasi indietro di cottura perché era un po’ duro. Nel complesso sicuramente un buon piatto però mi aspettavo che la carne fosse più tenera come di mio gusto.
