07/10/2025: Dear beloved Matarel, we need a change of direction!! A restaurant that's a symbol of Milan, one of a kind. The last time I was there, however, it wasn't the usual magnificent experience. The ossobuco with risotto is a mystical, divine experience, 10/10. But the cutlet (36 euros), served with four baked potatoes, four of them, was very disappointing. Not to mention the service, terrible is a compliment. It took 30 minutes to order, the wine arrived, and the waiter served everyone except two gentlemen, rushing off. When we asked for parmesan cheese for the risotto, the answer was "of course." Too bad the parmesan never arrived. In short, the restaurant was known to be medium-high in price, but it was always worth it because it's not lunch/dinner but a dive into the past of old Milan. This last time, however, there was a bitter taste in my mouth, especially because after the disappointments over the cutlet and the service, the bill arrived, which this time around was not as pleasant as always. In short, matarel, if you want to uphold the reputation of Elide and her husband, a sudden change is necessary.

30/09/2025: We stopped for a later night snack and got french fries...as an fry aficionado, these were spectacular. I can't comment on any other food, but these were crisp w/ tender inside and perfectly salted.

05/10/2025: Lovely place with a good atmosphere and service. I would highlight the ossobuco con rissoto and the tiramisu.

23/03/2025: Pranzo ottimo tranne per l'eccessivo uso di sale nella portata del riso al salto e io sono una persona che tende a mangiare salato. Vitello tonnato squisito uno dei migliori che abbia mai provato, location raffinata e presentazione piatti molto curata e raffinata peccato per quel eccessivo uso di sale nel riso.

22/03/2025: We came with a smart box for lunch. The atmosphere was welcoming and refined. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dishes were carefully prepared and unique. Highly recommended!

08/10/2025: The pizza by the slice is delicious, in a historic setting, with tables covered in cloth tablecloths and napkins (a rarity these days). I was satisfied with my quick pre-theater dinner.

07/10/2025: Since I was in Milan, I decided to try the local specialty, cotoletta, at this restaurant. The portion of meat was so large I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to finish it all, but it was surprisingly light and I ate it all in no time. Thank you for the meal! 😋 It has a laid-back atmosphere, and I think it's easy for travelers to drop by. The bearded waiter was very kind and I appreciated it. Thank you very much! 😊

20/10/2025: Was only ok, service wasn't great and felt rushed out of the restaurant after only eating there for 45 minutes. Risotto wasn't the best and small portions for both dishes. The mushroom pasta was alot better. I would give it a miss next time, was expecting a lot better especially since it was highly recommended.

19/10/2025: Aside from the food, which wasn't great and very bland (we had risotto with ossobuco), and the hesitant and chaotic service, the thing that left us all very perplexed was the level of hygiene. Greasy menus, dirty plates with waiters' fingers on them, and above all, the company of cockroaches that were happily wandering around us. To be avoided.

08/10/2025: The waiter was accommodating and friendly, making us feel welcome right away. The food was excellent. A great dining experience all around!

12/06/2025: Um es vorweg zu nehmen, hier stimmt einfach alles. Super schönes Restaurant und sehr elegant. Der Service ist Spitzenklasse, die Weinkarte ist hervorragend zusammengestellt. Beim Essen gehen mir die Superlative aus es war einfach nur phantastisch. Eine absolute Empfehlung die Ihren Preis hat aber das Geld ist es wert. Das Boeucc hat keinen Aussenbereich.

11/04/2025: Visitamos este restaurante sin reserva y fueron recibidos inmediatamente. Primeros: Risotto giallo alla Milanese y Ciotola di nervetti dell'Acquabella. Red: Cotoletta alla Milanese con Patate y fuera del menú tripe. Todos los artículos fueron servidos calientes y deliciosos.

09/03/2025: Locale suggerito da un sito web. Atmosfera molto gioviale. Staff carino e presente. Deludente la cotoletta, totalmente sciapa. Risotto e ossobuco nella norma.

06/10/2025: Attention! We ordered a pizza to go and two Jägermeister shots! Pizza €10.00, okay but not good. Two Jägermeister shots €25.00! I immediately ran out and refused to pay. The employee said, "No, you have to pay!" Otherwise, I'll call the police! Sorry, I made a fuss, didn't pay, and I received my pizza. Be careful at this bar and ask for your price. There are no tits! ;)

24/09/2025: A place with arrogant owners who think they're the coolest in the world. They have a Chinese place next door that's more humble and always packed. Their prices are outrageous. You can't pay 9 euros for a glass full of ice and a little rum and a lot of coke, not even a couple of chips included in the price. And we're talking about the central station area, as if we were in the Duomo.

02/06/2025: Viví en Italia en 1991 durante un año. Yo venía de Inglaterra y nunca había comido comida italiana. Cuando probé el plato de mi esposa me catapultó 34 años atrás y me sentí bastante emocionado. Así de auténticamente italiano es este lugar. Lleno de lugareños. Gran servicio. Muy barato. Mi risotto fue sublime. Mi esposa tenía la orecchiette. Le encantó. Tenía ternera para mi segundo y mi esposa tenía una gran panecotta. Volveremos a Milán y volveremos aquí con certeza. Maravilloso.

29/03/2025: Pranzo di lavoro nel centro di Milano; discreta scelta nel menù, personalmente ho optato per un “piatto gourmet” che comprende primo e secondo, ottima la qualità delle materie prime utilizzate, veloce il servizio, personale molto cordiale. Tenendo conto della zona in cui si trova prezzo decisamente contenuto.
