08/03/2025: A guarantee. As usual, delicious risotto and ossobuco, tender and tasty rib and top desserts (special mention for tiramisu and chocolate cake). We are now regular customers.

10/03/2025: Nice thing. Tables with linen and glassware. Typical Italian dishes (risotto, pasta, meat dishes). Recommended: try the tiramisu. Very alert service. Good quality food and good portions.

31/03/2025: I went to this place on Saturday night, which I didn't know. Classic setting in the sofa room, tables with white tablecloths, wooden sideboards as it seems the traditional Milanese should be. Service with a girl who had lost her smile, zero empathy. And it was just 8 pm... The menu has some hints of dishes for tourists, foreigners. I had the ossobuco with risotto or vice versa: the risotto was canary-colored, al dente but without any flavor while the ossobuco, covered with gremolada (without lemon), was old, overcooked. However, the worst part was that liquid that had ended up in the risotto, a broth I think to revive the dead ossobuco. Embarrassing! Another diner had the Milanese cutlet (elephant ear): a shoe sole is thicker. Terrible breading, not at all crunchy, even moist in some central points. Amateurish! It's hard to leave anything on the plate even when the food is scarce but here it was offensive to present these dishes at the table

05/03/2025: Very nice, cozy and lovely place!! We tried some dishes with high expectations but we weren’t fully satisfied however we decided that we might give this place another try next time we visit Milan. (: We definitely LOVE the atmosphere of this restaurant.

02/03/2025: If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be completely invisible, Solferino is the perfect place to experience it. The moment we arrived, we stood by the door like lost tourists, waiting for someone—anyone—to acknowledge our existence and show us to a table. Once we finally sat down, the menus arrived… eventually. That was the first red flag. But the real endurance test began when we tried to order. An hour passed, during which the waiters gracefully ignored us, casually wandering around as if they were on a scenic stroll rather than at work. Maybe they were reenacting a slow-motion film. When the food finally arrived, we quickly realized that the wait hadn’t been worth it. It was so bland that we genuinely struggled to remember what we had eaten once we left. A meal so forgettable, it might as well have been a dream—except dreams are usually more flavorful. Dessert? Absolutely not. After surviving the main course, we weren’t about to gamble on another disappointment. And to top it all off, they had the audacity to snatch our plates away before we had even finished, as if they were doing us a favor by putting an end to our suffering. Oh, and let’s talk about the prices—because apparently, mediocrity comes at a premium here. If you enjoy paying fine dining prices for an experience that makes a fast-food drive-thru look like Michelin-star service, then by all means, Solferino is your spot. For everyone else? Save your time, your patience, and most importantly, your money.

09/03/2025: Locale suggerito da un sito web. Atmosfera molto gioviale. Staff carino e presente. Deludente la cotoletta, totalmente sciapa. Risotto e ossobuco nella norma.

01/03/2025: Seguiamo il suggerimento trovato in un bel volume tratto da un blog e prenotiamo per pranzo di sabato. Locale non troppo affollato, accogliente, negli altri tavoli vediamo persone sorridenti e rilassate. Provo il riso al salto - ottimo - poi smezzo una porzione di polpette con mia moglie. Buone verdure di accompagnamento e - cosa non comune - un buon caffè. Cibo di qualità, personale gentile e prezzo non eccessivo insomma... una bella esperienza!

25/03/2025: A restaurant along the canal. A room with a sense of history. Milanese cuisine is served. For lunch, I ordered Milanese cutlet and osso buco. The portions were quite large. Half bottles of wine are reasonably priced.

24/03/2025: One of the best meals we ate of our entire trip. You'll need a reservation but we were able to make it online making it easy. The staff was all incredible and the food was even better. We had the cotoletta and risotto ala milanese and I'm still dreaming about how delicious it was. The restaurant itself was so cute and charming and in a very fun area (Navigli) so easy to pre-post-func and get to.

12/11/2024: In centro a Milano, che più in centro non si può, c'è la Trattoria da Pino, in via Cerva. Mi avevano avvertito che è sempre piena, e che dopo le 12.30 c'è già la fila. Alle 12.30 in punto siamo lì, e ci sediamo all'ultimo tavolo libero. A occhio, 60 coperti scarsi. Abbiamo preso: Trofie in pasta fresca, salsa di aneto e nocciole. Cottura al dente perfetta, difficile a Milano. Bollito misto: eccezionale la testina, delicatissima. Più che valido il rosso della Casa. Il tutto con un servizio impeccabile e svelto, ad un costo da fare impallidire Mc Donald’s. Bagno pulitissimo. Vale almeno un Bib Gourmand! Voto, considerando il prezzo: 10 e lode.

06/11/2024: in pieno centro di milano puoi pranzare in una tipica osteria milanese con una ricca scelta nel menu ad un prezzo più che onesto, consigliatissimo!

31/03/2025: Super friendly staff. We felt so welcomed by everyone. We were so thankful they all spoke wonderful English and no trouble communicating with us and getting to know us. Great location. Beautiful restaurant. Beautiful presentation or the food. We sat in the terrace, but the inside of the restaurant was just as beautiful as outside with a romantic vibe. We had the rib eye steak, Milanese cutlet, ravioli, and Ossobuco + Milanese risotto. Food was ok overall. The ravioli was amazing with a fresh hint of lemon. Ossobuco + risotto was good. Ribeye was not the best quality. Chewy and tough. Cutlet was huge but could have been seasoned a bit more and not as dry. But we really enjoyed our dinner with great people and fantastic view.

12/03/2025: Great food. Presentation was amazing. And service was very friendly and welcoming. A ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience. I ordered angus beef tartar with hazelnut sauce which was simply amazing. The main dish was Ossobuco with Milanese Saffron Risotto which was fantastic. The dessert (walnut Panna Cotta) was not my favorite though but still OK. All in all a great experience and totally recommend this restaurant located just beside the canal in Navigli area.

31/08/2024: Entering a temple of Milanese history like the Taverna Morigi means having the courage to carry on the history and tradition of a wonderful place. and it doesn't matter whether you took over for a well-made purchase or for a sale from the person managing it, respecting the history of the place is fundamental. you have entered the history of Milan and have proposed the same rubbish that is found everywhere

06/08/2024: Elegant vintage venue. The environment and the service at the bar are excellent, but the restaurant is poor, more scene than quality.
