Had a great experience at Osteria Il Melograno in Milan. The mozzarella and stracciatella show was a real highlight — fresh, authentic, and fun to watch. This is a must if you’re in Milan Italy. Off the beaten path. Call ahead or reserve online. Husband, wife and son since 1998. It doesn’t get any closer to an authentic home cooked meal. 15 out of 10..!

Ten of us arrived the day before a marathon, and the excellent food gave us the energy we needed to reach the finish line in tip-top shape. We'll be happy to return. Despite the small restaurant, there's a genuine love for the hospitality and the quality of the cuisine. The products are top-quality, the dishes are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend trying their dishes, especially the traditional Apulian platter, a truly wonderful dish.

Osteria Al Portone

23/06/2026: The experience was excellent, and the risotto alla Milanese with rustin negàa was sublime. I recommend trying it! The tranquil atmosphere allows you to recharge and decompress after a busy day at work.
14/06/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We went for lunch yesterday to celebrate a birthday and found a welcoming place with a family atmosphere. The decor was very tastefully decorated and clean... the real surprise was the food: traditional Milanese dishes and more, generous portions, and exceptionally delicious. Reasonable prices, and the owner is friendly and welcoming... I highly recommend trying Osteria al Portone; everything from appetizers to dessert was exceptional!
