Osteria Alla Grande In Milano

Both the food and drinks were excellent. It's a shame the place is a bit small when you first enter, but I still had a great time. The apple and walnut cake was excellent.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Old-fashioned, family-friendly, informal restaurant. Good food, traditional dishes, but, based on what we ate, nothing memorable.

This evening, the same chaotic atmosphere; the beauty of this osteria is its conviviality. Livened up as always by Donato's songs. However, this evening the service was subpar due to the lack of tact of the waiter. The dishes were good and tasty, except for the wild boar morsels, which were tough, sparse, and very salty. We'll make up for it next time. Nestled in the old Baggio district, the two windows of the osteria appear. You enter and are catapulted back in time. Two small rooms with limited seating. In fact, you need to book ahead for this experience. The place is dated and basic, as an old osteria should be. All the staff were very friendly. Generous and well-cooked dishes in the Milanese tradition. But the real gem of the osteria is Donato, with his Milanese songs and his guitar, which takes us sixty-year-olds back in time, with unanimous participation from the entire room and involving everyone present, regardless of age. GREAT.

A thrilling experience, with typical Lombard food, excellent and generously portioned, and a musical interlude by a dashing young Milanese minstrel, truly appreciated. Themed ambiance. I will recommend it to all the guests staying at my vacation homes in Milan and will definitely return. Thank you, one of my favorite places.

A typical Milanese place. A quaint atmosphere, friendly, helpful, and fast staff. Really excellent food. We went on a Thursday night, when there's live music. We sang and joked. A truly special evening!
