Osteria Dal Verme In Milano

23/11/2023: I chose this restaurant based on the reviews I found online. They offer a five-course tasting menu in addition to a regular menu with a varied selection, including classic Milanese dishes. I went with the five-course tasting menu (including a dessert). The chef selects the courses, but they are open to specific requests. I requested no seafood. When I visited, the restaurant was featuring white truffles because it was truffle season. I enjoyed each of the courses, which were flavorful and interesting. My only regret was that none of the courses I received included any traditional Milanese dishes, and I was hoping to get one. I recommend the tasting menu if your top priority is sampling, different flavors and textures, otherwise I would order off of the main menu. The service was friendly and helpful.

20/10/2023: Locale accogliente con servizio attento e cortese. Buona carta dei vini, ma cocktail proposti a cena niente di che. Ma al ristorante si va per mangiare qualcosa di speciale e qui non lo abbiamo trovato. Piatti ben eseguiti ma banali e senza quel tocco in più che ti aspetti in un locale come questo. Sui dolci non spendo nemmeno un commento negativo. Il conto invece si fa ricordare per la sua pesantezza.
