The food is all truly excellent (starting with the bread, made in Altamura...delicious!), but, for my personal taste, the "Pumpkin risotto with luganega pasta, goat cheese, and candied lemon" is something out of this world. We'll definitely be back!

16/11/2025: Highly recommended. Everything was delicious, from the welcome to the service. The traditional menu features Mondeghili, cotechino, tripe, chicken alla diavola, and Milanese cutlet. Everything was delicious, the cutlet was so delicious, and the tripe brought back memories of Christmas Eve when I was a kid. The wine list was really well-crafted, with more than fair markups and a wide selection of some truly unusual French wines. Truly excellent. I'd been wanting to try it for a long time, and we finally got around to it.

08/02/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant today, booked a bit last minute... I was craving a risotto... What can I say, simply EXTRAORDINARY, a Milanese risotto with ossobuco, incredibly tender meat, perfectly flavorful rice, no ingredient overpowering the other, the best in years. The person I was with had a sliced Angus steak with caramelized onion and crispy bacon, which he thought was excellent.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
The atmosphere is pleasant, not too noisy, and above all, clean. I left and my clothes hadn't picked up any odor.
I'll definitely be back, try it, you won't regret it ☺️

A superb experience.
Simple, unpretentious, but authentic dishes!
We went there for the tripe, but unfortunately, they didn't have any. No big deal, though; it gave us the chance to try other things.
We loved it.

11/01/2026: We were there last night with friends. Everything was really good and plentiful. I have to say that in these times, eating all that stuff, not only in quantity but also in quality, at such a price is not easy to find around.
Compliments to the staff too. It's sad to read some negative comments, but unfortunately there's always someone who complains.
My compliments go to the owner and all the staff.

The place is small but comfortable, with a lively atmosphere without being chaotic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. I would gladly return.

17/03/2026: A delightful restaurant with a lakeside terrace, run by a charming couple who are passionate about their work. The menu features authentic, beautifully presented local dishes, and an excellent selection of wines, including by the glass. The prices are reasonable for the quality. We were so pleased we returned two nights in a row.
15/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance... And we found ourselves in a time bubble, in a typical 70s/80s restaurant, the kind I used to go to as a child...
Very, very good food, from appetizers to dessert... Very friendly staff. The friendly host, also in his old-fashioned style, comes around the tables to say hello and ask how things are... Everything is very warm and homely... We'll be back.

16/03/2026: One of my all-time favorite places: excellent food, a great wine selection, and the atmosphere is priceless. You really feel at home.
14/03/2026: A charming location. As soon as you enter, you're greeted with a smile (which isn't always the case) by the wait staff, who greet you with a warm "ciao" and the intoxicating scent of wood burning in the fireplace. The restaurant is a very well-kept osteria, with terracotta floors, exposed beams, and a roaring fireplace creating a truly pleasant atmosphere.
The food is high-quality and truly delicious, the service is courteous and fast, and the wine selection is excellent.
A well-deserved 5 stars for Maurizio and his staff!
