27/02/2025: Restaurant where you can breathe the scent of home, impeccable service and friendly staff. The food recalls traditional flavors, delicate and always balanced tastes. The raw material is of absolute quality.

08/02/2025: I really like this place. It is well fit for all occasions- business kunch, dinner with family, or big friends party. The food is delicious, mixing traditional Valtelkuna dishes with more common Lombardia cotoletta.

28/02/2025: The welcome was one of the best things after the food We were lucky enough to dine alone as it was a Thursday evening and we were treated like princes, Cesarino very friendly and nice Perhaps the place is a little dated, we didn't see the terrace outside because it was dark and cold but it certainly looks great in summer being in front of the lake

07/03/2025: Visited: lunchtime, Friday, March 7, 2025. Should you wish to feel most unwelcome when visiting a restaurant, please do head here when in Milan. The food was absolutely average (modest, as a matter of fact), the waiter at my table courteous, the lady at reception/till someone to instantly forget as soon as you exit the door (if you care to read other reviews, you will notice how others have also, in negative terms, described her). She failed to offer a simple "thank you", a polite question ("did you enjoy your meal?"), an invitation to come back ("see you again") and, instead, decided to keep her mouth completely shut while adding up the tally (also including an item that hadn't been ordered!), offering no greeting whatsoever to her patron. Honestly, with so many other great dining places in Milan, why waste your money here with someone who willfully ignores the most basic rules of hospitality? Left the place (vowing to never come back) with a very bitter taste in my mouth. Dreadful.

31/03/2025: I didn't like the atmosphere, half the place had tables set with tablecloths, half didn't. The food was nothing special, risotto with mushy ossobuco, none of the 3 of us liked it. The tagliata was cooked on 3 sides (??) The wine wasn't opened in front of us... I wouldn't go back

09/03/2025: First of all, excellent service, punctual and precise. the super nice and kind owner even offered us coffee, the only negative note was that the quality-price ratio in the second courses was not too adequate, otherwise all the dishes were excellent. we will definitely return

07/03/2025: We especially appreciated the prepared and friendly service, with an accurate presentation of the dishes. The temperature in the room was a little chilly. We were not entirely convinced by the food, especially the starter pie. I enjoyed the wine. We'll try again later.

05/03/2025: After several years we found ourselves with friends for dinner and the environment has remained the same, traditional and characteristic like the managers. The food has a classic Milanese feel with casoela, orecchia and the classic risotto with osso bucco, less exciting than I remembered but still very local.

23/02/2025: The place is very welcoming and the home cooking is good. Avoid the cutlet which is basically just a layer of chicken and all very thick breading. Good value for money.
