We had lunch at Trattoria di Coronate for my mom's birthday: we felt at home from the first moment, with excellent service and knowledgeable staff. Excellent food, an extensive wine list, and a welcoming atmosphere. It was worth the hour-long drive to eat at this truly lovely location. Thanks for making my mom's birthday special!

I've been eating here for years, and whenever we have an important event to celebrate, we rely on them. From anniversaries to birthdays and holidays, Trattoria di Coronate has NEVER disappointed us. The menu is traditional yet gourmet. I always order the Mondeghili (pictured), and they're the absolute best, even better than those I've had in restaurants in Milan. A hidden gem nestled in the countryside around Morimondo, the warmth of the wonderful farmhouse-style rooms, with period furnishings and a true rural feel, is exceptional. The warmth envelops the pleasantness of the place, thanks also to the wonderful service and kindness of the staff, always friendly and helpful. In short, a place worth visiting, with so much history and excellent cuisine.

One of the best restaurants in the southern area outside Milan. Elegance and professionalism. Excellent, high-quality dishes from the Lombard tradition. For a wine lover, the wine list is incredible, in my opinion!

14/07/2026: The restaurant is easy to reach and you can leave your car nearby in a large dirt parking lot (with shaded areas). The setting is beautiful, surrounded by greenery, and very quiet despite being close to the road. There are also children's playgrounds and shaded benches. Everything inside is well-kept, yet not cloying. The staff is friendly and approachable, yet always professional. At lunchtime, you can choose from the à la carte menu or the business lunch menu (at very reasonable prices). My friend and I ate two first courses, two second courses, coffee, and water, spending a total of €37 (for two!), including a complimentary myrtle liqueur at checkout. We didn't try the desserts because the portions are generous, so we'll definitely have to return to make up for that.

01/07/2026: Loved it. As Americans, (🫢) we arrived when it opened (7 pm) and had it to ourselves until about 8 pm, then it progressively filled up, so we had the attentions of the sweet and very helpful maitre D. it is high end food. You can pick specific dishes, Primi and secondi dishes etc, or you can choose a 3 course or 5 course tasting menu. My spouse was busy picking which dishes he wanted but then he trusted me when I said let’s do the 5 course tasting menu (vacation, go big and trust your chef) and it was a fabulous experience. they make many types of breads and we got to try them all, along with their signature butter (flavored with a bit of anchovy). Each dish to follow was an experience. We both loved it and would happily return in a future visit to Rome. It is at the edge of Trastevere, near the river for a perfect walk after so much food. Really a lovely experience.
30/06/2026: A very good time! My starter was splendid, the risotto and tiramisu were a little below par.
