Trattoria di Coronate In Morimondo

We had lunch at Trattoria di Coronate for my mom's birthday: we felt at home from the first moment, with excellent service and knowledgeable staff. Excellent food, an extensive wine list, and a welcoming atmosphere. It was worth the hour-long drive to eat at this truly lovely location. Thanks for making my mom's birthday special!

I've been eating here for years, and whenever we have an important event to celebrate, we rely on them. From anniversaries to birthdays and holidays, Trattoria di Coronate has NEVER disappointed us. The menu is traditional yet gourmet. I always order the Mondeghili (pictured), and they're the absolute best, even better than those I've had in restaurants in Milan. A hidden gem nestled in the countryside around Morimondo, the warmth of the wonderful farmhouse-style rooms, with period furnishings and a true rural feel, is exceptional. The warmth envelops the pleasantness of the place, thanks also to the wonderful service and kindness of the staff, always friendly and helpful. In short, a place worth visiting, with so much history and excellent cuisine.

Excellent food, attention to intolerances, medium-high prices

One of the best restaurants in the southern area outside Milan. Elegance and professionalism. Excellent, high-quality dishes from the Lombard tradition. For a wine lover, the wine list is incredible, in my opinion!

Elegant restaurant in the Pavia countryside. A warm, welcoming, and refined atmosphere. Refined, unique food. Spectacular desserts. If you're looking for a carefully renovated farmhouse or an elegant restaurant with refined cuisine, this is the place to be. Indoor parking. Friendly, professional owners.

Birthday dinner. Nice, almost intimate atmosphere, especially thanks to the large fireplace in the main room. The young waiter was very friendly. The wait was a bit long, especially considering there were only four tables occupied. The appetizers were excellent, both cured meats and cheeses, and their sesame breadsticks were a real treat. It was a shame about the cutlet, which, not being elephant ear-shaped, was almost too pink inside. Also, I don't know why, but the osso buco was served without the meat... which doesn't make much sense, especially since that extra meat has to go somewhere... Still, recommended.

Everything was exceptional, from the service to the food, not to mention the wine list. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants from now on!!
