Trattoria Sabbioneda Da Romolo is 300 meters from the Lima M1 station. Clean tables and friendly owners. They also have daily specials; today, for example, they had goulash and veal with tuna sauce. I had a portion of pumpkin ravioli, a Milanese cutlet, a water, a glass of good wine, and a coffee for only €29 (we're in downtown Milan). Good and plentiful food.

I was in Milan for work and chose to have dinner at this restaurant. It's a unique and very cute place. The food is truly excellent. Fresh, quality ingredients. I think it's excellent value for money. The staff is friendly and attentive. In fact, I've been back several times.

On the first evening in Milan we stopped here for just a late evening drinks (a restaurant nearby refused to serve us drinks only as it was a restaurant, not a bar). As we sipped our beers we noticed that this seemed to be quite a popular trattoria - we decided to eat our dinner here at some point. When we arrived next evening (without a reservation) we felt warmly welcomed straight away and we spent the whole evening here eating and drinking extremely well. Portions were generous and prices moderate, it was absolutely best evening out in a long time.

A very vintage Milanese trattoria, serving excellent cuisine, especially traditional Milanese dishes. Often crowded, it's recommended for small groups and dinners with friends. Well-prepared dishes, a limited wine list. Helpful staff, excellent prices.

Wanted to come here for lunch, arrived just before 1pm but got turned away because it was full. Tried again for dinner, arrived a couple minutes before it opened and a couple was already waiting before me. I ordered the ossobuco con polenta (15€ - rare to find this affordable) and the tiramisu (5,5€). Service was prompt and food came out fairly fast. It was exactly what I needed after a long cold day, hearty, warm, and tasty, generous portion size as well. Tiramisu was smaller than I expected but was also really good, especially the end bit where the cocoa power had formed a crust. I’d recommend getting here close to when they open because people reserve seats and they turn a lot of customers away!

07/06/2026: Intrigued and won over by the very active and convincing social media profile, my wife and I decided to go. Once we got to the restaurant, everything was normal, and there was no sign of the bubbly internet pundit, who was only active on video. It's still a lovely place with a large garden. The service was prompt and efficient, and the young lady knew her job well. She recommended a mixed cold cuts appetizer, as we were craving meat. It was a generous portion, but except for the excellent quality prosciutto, the rest wasn't great, especially the salami. She recommended an off-menu dish, the Tomowok for two with potatoes. The meat was good, but not memorable, perhaps also because the stone was too hot, which meant it was cooked too early. The potatoes were delicious. A bottle of Teroldego, good water, and coffee. €128.00. I recommend this place for large groups and parties.

Al Less - Pastis di tradizione Italiana

02/06/2026: Four of us had lunch (unfortunately, we were short on time) and we were left wanting to return and try the summer menu. Everything was delicious. The service was quick. They chased us out: we'd forgotten our cell phone! Super kind ❤️
19/05/2026: Very good, perfect service. The food is wonderful. I recommend trying the cotoletta and the ossobuco risotto.
