We were looking for a good restaurant frequented by locals that wasn't too touristy. Dinner was delicious, and the prices were very fair compared to other restaurants in Milan.
The house wine was excellent.
Overall, a very good experience; I would definitely eat there again.

One of the last authentic Milanese trattorias. Family-run, they serve exquisitely crafted traditional Lombard dishes (and more), and excellent prices. It's not, and doesn't claim to be, trendy (thankfully), so much so that it's closed Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are almost mandatory, as the dining room isn't large and seating is limited.

When you think of a restaurant in Milan, you immediately think of a designer place, gourmet cuisine, and high prices... here, none of that: a rustic restaurant, traditional cuisine, and very reasonable prices. We had Mantuan pumpkin ravioli (not to be missed!), meat-filled plin pasta, ossobuco (amazing), cotoletta (large and light), and chocolate salami (delicious): everything was truly excellent!

I went there tonight with a friend. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was delicious, especially the generous portions, which are always appreciated.
Excellent service, simple and precise, both from the very polite lady and the clean-shaven man.
I'm also a bit partial to the chef, as a motorcyclist. I'll be back.

I felt like I'd gone back in time, both in terms of the atmosphere, the prices, and the cuisine. Finally, I found food that's not normally found in restaurants anymore, with authentic, familiar flavors. Excellent value. I'll definitely be back.

Very, very good. I already like the street and it puts me in a good mood, away from the chaos of Buenos Aires but close to it, so easy to get to by metro (Lima). It's a place from another era, and in a good way. I even got some good "pre-Euro restaurant" vibes, and the decor of the place is definitely not a reflection of today's horrible restaurant decor trends. But let's not digress. The service was absolutely good, the menu excellent. I had a roast beef with artichokes and parmesan cheese, which reminded me of my glorious youth, when I would tuck into this dish with love and appetite. Delicious! In short, a truly lovely place, and I'll be back.

Very good prices. We each ordered a pasta dish (the zucchini pasta was amazing), two bottles of water, a tiramisu, and a coffee for €32 total.
Make a reservation, because we arrived before 1 p.m. on a Monday and it was packed within 10 minutes.
