We went to the trattoria for lunch on Saturday with the family. It was a wonderful experience, with discreet and attentive service and a relaxing atmosphere. I recommend starting with their recommended appetizer: mondeghili, Russian salad, Cantabrian anchovies and butter, cured meats, cotechino, and lentils. We added the chicken liver pâté, which they serve with a special dried fig brioche. All the courses are very carefully crafted.

A well-maintained restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. It has several indoor dining rooms and an outdoor patio, so there's plenty of seating. We ate outside, and despite the crowds, it wasn't noisy. Very good dishes, beautifully presented, and with generous portions. Only the chicken, the house specialty, didn't wow me; it was too dry, perhaps because it was grilled. Prices are high, but the quality and service are excellent. Recommended.

02/06/2026: Four of us had lunch (unfortunately, we were short on time) and we were left wanting to return and try the summer menu. Everything was delicious. The service was quick. They chased us out: we'd forgotten our cell phone! Super kind ❤️
19/05/2026: Very good, perfect service. The food is wonderful. I recommend trying the cotoletta and the ossobuco risotto.

05/06/2026: Trattoria Sabbioneda Da Romolo is 300 meters from the Lima M1 station. Clean tables and friendly owners. They also have daily specials; today, for example, they had goulash and veal with tuna sauce. I had a portion of pumpkin ravioli, a Milanese cutlet, a water, a glass of good wine, and a coffee for only €29 (we're in downtown Milan). Good and plentiful food.
