This place is located in downtown Como. We dined at an outdoor table. The octopus was a bit tough but tasty, and the fish fillet dish was especially good. It is a good place to enjoy a casual meal.

While passing through the city, I had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant and I was quite surprised. The food is good, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very warm (perhaps too warm, but then again, Italians do like to talk loudly). I recommend this place if you're in the area.

An unusual, non-touristy spot. We enjoyed peace and quiet just steps from the cathedral. The food was perfect, the service perfect. I had a wonderful time, thank you.

14/05/2026: If you want to eat really good polenta or TOC, you absolutely must go to Chalet Gabriele. I've been going for at least 30 years, and everything is always delicious, with incredible value for money.
