Lunch reservation on Easter Monday at 2 pm...accepted without a fuss!!
Delicious risotto and filleted sea bream (I expected it to be a little bigger), fast service, and a lovely, friendly waitress!!
Rustic, pleasant atmosphere with a very welcoming outdoor lawn area!!

Easter lunch, informal and fairly spartan atmosphere, what you'd expect from an osteria. The place was packed, with a daily menu featuring seafood appetizers, two first courses, two second courses (one meat and one fish), a mix of homemade desserts, drinks, and coffee. The food was average, nothing exceptional, but good overall. The wait was a bit long, but the place was busy given the holiday. Service was good; one guest's food intolerance was also resolved. The price was a bit steep for what we ate, but you know what happens when there's a holiday.

Today the spaghetti with seafood and the fried fish were excellent!

I was in Sestri Levante last night with some Genoese friends at this typical trattoria, and I must say the dishes are typical, too. The atmosphere is simple, as I think a trattoria should be. Family-run, everyone is friendly and willing to offer advice on the dishes. The fried anchovies and seafood salad were excellent, and for the main course, a stockfish with potatoes, which pleasantly surprised me. I also tried the boiled stockfish, and I have to say I couldn't decide which was better. And to finish, an excellent pear and chocolate cake, and, of course, a bitter. Osteria da Sergio is definitely worth a visit. I can't comment on the bill because I was a guest, but I understand it was excellent value for money.

A simple, no-frills, old-fashioned osteria. Home-style cooking, but with excellent dishes like fried food. Be warned, the portions are very generous! In short, a place with no pretensions but great substance and heart. Recommended!

An osteria always has a few hidden gems, and this one is no exception. The seafood salad and battered vegetables are delicious, but the spaghetti allo scoglio here is pure poetry. I recommend it 1000%. The service is good, and they know how to recommend. Try the spaghetti allo scoglio.

Risotto, mixed fried fish, marinated anchovy appetizer.
Everything was quite good, but to be picky, the risotto sauce was rather cold compared to the rice, which was quite hot. I had to wait a long time for dessert, but it was quite crowded, and from what I saw, there were only two people in the dining room.
Appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, 1/2 bottle of house white wine, and coffee: €40.
P.S. The "courtesy" focaccia instead of bread was exceptional! I would have eaten just that!
