Overall, the food is good, and the price is reasonable. The atmosphere is relaxing. I applaud the decision not to allow dogs; they'll be the first to be happy not to have to sit under a table for a couple of hours while their owner overindulges.

The food is well-prepared, although some dishes have unclear pairings. Some items, like the ravioli with (real) tuccu or pansoti, are really good; others, I wouldn't recommend, nothing special.
Very attentive and friendly service, well above "adequate."
The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, but a few nice touches wouldn't hurt.

Sunday lunch, best to reserve. Very good traditional dishes, such as pansoti in walnut sauce, Italian-style fried fish, and cima alla genovese. Efficient and friendly service. Fair price.

I'm a Beppa regular. They're absolutely guaranteed; there's not a single dish you won't want to miss. And if you find their carne salada, you're forced to order a second helping. The service is fast and attentive, and the location is the same as always: you either love it or hate it.

We were looking for traditional cuisine away from tourist traps and we finally found it at Trattoria Beppa.

A truly authentic osteria, offering authentic, home-style cuisine and a quality menu featuring traditional dishes, all prepared well and quickly. I found the pesto to be very garlicky, while the rabbit, both Ligurian-style and fried, was excellent.
A good place, unpretentious and full of substance.
