03/03/2026: True to the saying that good things come in small packages, I can confidently say that the food in the small but charming Trattoria Armanda is truly delicious. We're in Castelnuovo Magra, where Armanda has been synonymous with fine cuisine, reflecting the traditions of Ligurian and Lunigiana families, for many years. I returned after about twenty years and found the same atmosphere and excellent cuisine that remained etched in my memory and heart. A few years ago, new management took over, maintaining the original quality standards while giving the restaurant a brighter, more vibrant feel. The dishes are all well-crafted using quality ingredients. Service is handled by the courteous and friendly owner, who guides you from start to finish. The quality/price ratio is excellent. In warm weather, you can eat outside while also enjoying the beautiful view.

22/02/2026: Truly a lovely place. From the first step you take into this trattoria, you're enveloped in a lovely atmosphere. It's a well-kept yet informal place. One of those places you'll want to return to every week. The food is delicious, from traditional first courses to meat-based main courses. Top-quality ingredients. Tradition and subtle reinterpretations go hand in hand in a short, well-crafted menu. All the dishes we ate were delicious. Seafood ribollita and truffle and game risotto for the first course, and pork cheek with celeriac puree and ossobuco for the second course were top notch. The lady in charge was very knowledgeable and kind. The kitchen staff were excellent. Highly recommended!!!

14/11/2025: Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was exceptionally courteous! They reserved a table for us with an enchanting view! The place is meticulously maintained and very clean! Kudos to all the staff who do a fantastic job!

08/11/2025: We had lunch today, November 8, 2025.... A positive experience. Compliments for the whole lunch, especially the wild boar roast. We are not "foreigners" but from the area and Liguria. We really enjoyed the Ligurian dishes. We will be back.

07/12/2025: On the recommendation of a hiker on the Ligurian trek, we had a wonderful dinner. Traditional Ligurian dishes at incredibly affordable prices. We'll definitely be back! I recommend the rabbit and fettuccine with pesto.

01/02/2026: For us, Osteria Vecchio Mulino is a cozy place with lots of charm. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was fresh, honest, and absolutely delicious, lovingly prepared, and incredibly flavorful. The service was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant. 🍝✨

11/02/2026: A family and local history, a family and local cuisine. The Circella family home, nestled in the heart of the Ne hills in the Tigullio region, is one of those places worth a trip to experience. The cuisine is local and regional, with a focus on tradition without being stuck in it. Cuniggiu magru (a reinterpretation of cappon magro), cabannina in salt, pansoti, and stuffed lettuce in broth are must-try dishes. Sergio Circella's wine cellar is of national importance.

22/02/2026: We arrived near closing time and were still served and welcomed by the owner with kindness and friendliness, a great entertainer. Simple, traditional recipes, well-executed with excellent quality products. From appetizer to dessert, everything was very enjoyable and satisfying. Overall, a great experience.

25/02/2026: This renowned restaurant has become a regular stop for several groups. The service is sometimes a bit slow, and I should point out that this is probably why the dishes arrive lukewarm. Fortunately, everything is good and can be easily overlooked.

27/02/2026: The dishes were good, well-presented, and the flavors were spot on. We enjoyed our meal; there were no complaints about the taste. The service was also very good: welcoming, professional, and pleasant throughout the meal. However, the portions were really small. We were left a little hungry, which is a shame considering the price. €70 for two people for this quantity seems excessive for what was served. Furthermore, I should add that they charge for tap water and €3 per person for cutlery. Overall, a good experience, but the quality/quantity/price ratio could be improved.

12/01/2026: The food is undoubtedly good in terms of quality, but the quantity needs to be reconsidered. The portions are tiny, like those of a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant. The quality/quantity/price ratio is absolutely unsatisfactory.

17/12/2025: This place is very popular, so reservations are recommended. It needs no introduction: everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

09/12/2025: Excellent fish, cooked by those who love it and it shows! The price is more than fair considering the portions and the quality of the food. We would have liked to try the desserts too, but we were already more than full. The restaurant isn't very spacious, so I recommend booking in advance.

24/01/2026: Not a positive experience, I got an Angus burger with a questionable taste (I don't know how fresh it was). The place was very, very noisy and the staff were not friendly. At the cash register, even one waiter dared to make jokes about the price we paid (evidently not considered high enough). Not recommended.

28/02/2026: The long wait to book raises expectations that are then somewhat disappointed... the menu is strictly Ligurian, without any particular imagination, well-cooked but not exceptional, the pesto is good (of course!). The focus is on fried dishes, which are not bad, but the meats are a bit dry. The portions are normal, the prices are fair. Overall, it's in line with the local offerings. The reserved parking and proximity to Sori are positives, but be careful on the road.
