18/03/2026: A pleasant place with large, well-spaced tables, ensuring privacy and comfort. The cuisine uses quality ingredients and unique combinations, but the execution, in my opinion, had some flaws: the raw meat was excellent, but it was overpowered by the intensity of the anchovy sauce. The Plin pasta with excellent fresh pasta was good. I wasn't convinced by the ragù. Saffron risotto was well executed. The veal with tuna sauce, despite the accompanying sauce, was too dry in texture.
In several instances, I found the saltiness too strong (too much salt for my taste), which detracted from the quality of the ingredients.
The zabaglione ice cream was excellent: artisanal, homemade.
The wine list is refined and full of interesting choices, but the markups on bottles are, again in my opinion, too high. As was the final bill compared to the overall experience.

16/04/2026: A tricky place to get, but it was absolutely worth it! Wow, a super historic place, a vast and incredibly interesting wine cellar, traditional Ligurian dishes, and some revisited ones.
The Conigggiu Magro was fabulous!

The restaurant's atmosphere is the ideal blend of local tradition and a more modern approach. From our table, we enjoyed a stunning view of the Graveglia Valley.
The service was elegant and meticulously crafted, from the sommelier's wine pairings to the tableside brewing of filter coffee.
The tasting menu offered a variety of local dishes, some revisited with the chef's personal touch. Each dish was thoroughly explained, from its history and ingredients to the tableware itself.
We concluded with a tour of the cellar, which boasts over three thousand bottles and numerous references.
Highly recommended, whether for simply enjoying a memorable lunch or celebrating a special event.

20/04/2026: Absolutely positive review: tasty dishes, prompt staff and service, welcoming, quiet (it's a bit out of the way), and well-maintained atmosphere. The vegetarian appetizer, without the usual cured meats, was appreciated. The fixed price formula, which includes water, dessert, and coffee, was spot on, and varies depending on the dishes you order. All in all, a real surprise, and they even got a little discount at the end!
20/04/2026: The location, with its stream, is beautiful. The menu features a few delicious dishes, made with genuine ingredients. The portions are generous and the prices are very competitive.
I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

22/04/2026: If you want to eat in a typical Ligurian osteria, this is the place for you. A simple place, with simple dishes and simple service. There's a different menu every day, and the dishes are simple but delicious, home-style. The prices are very fair, just like they used to be.

07/12/2025: On the recommendation of a hiker on the Ligurian trek, we had a wonderful dinner. Traditional Ligurian dishes at incredibly affordable prices. We'll definitely be back! I recommend the rabbit and fettuccine with pesto.

27/02/2026: The dishes were good, well-presented, and the flavors were spot on. We enjoyed our meal; there were no complaints about the taste.
The service was also very good: welcoming, professional, and pleasant throughout the meal.
However, the portions were really small. We were left a little hungry, which is a shame considering the price. €70 for two people for this quantity seems excessive for what was served. Furthermore, I should add that they charge for tap water and €3 per person for cutlery.
Overall, a good experience, but the quality/quantity/price ratio could be improved.

07/05/2026: Trattoria Arvigo is worth a stop. Excellent food, welcoming and attentive staff: we felt right at home. Fair prices, incredibly delicious desserts, and excellent prosecco. We would have happily stopped by on our way back, but it's closed on Mondays. We hope to return soon! If only more places were like this. Thank you again for your professionalism and helpfulness.

15/04/2026: After years of positive reviews and testimonials, I finally tried Ristorante da Maria in Vessalico. Its excellent reputation is well-deserved. After a motorcycle ride through the surrounding valleys with a group of friends, we had lunch at this lovely little spot in the heart of town. The multi-course menu satisfied everyone's palates and tastes. The food was excellent, homemade, and beautifully presented. Divine ravioli, superb borage tagliatelle, and world-class Ligurian-style ribs and rabbit. Rich and varied appetizers with generous portions. It was truly an experience that epitomized the best of Ligurian cuisine. We'll be back. A must-see!
