08/08/2025: We're on vacation in Rapallo, touring Liguria. Genoa was one of our stops, and after asking around, they recommended this place. They make fresh pasta, not industrial-style, and they cook it right in front of you. Takeout is available. We ordered a classic Genoese dish: Trofie al pesto, with green beans and potatoes. Everything was authentic, including the light pesto and the artisanal trofie. Each dish was 5.50, a fair price. I recommend it if you're passing through.

07/08/2025: A wonderful little restaurant in Genoa. The staff is very friendly and attentive; they even set up an extra table for us because the terrace was already full. The food was excellent – the best and most authentic we've had in Genoa. I would go back anytime! A real insider tip that many tourists seem to have yet to discover.

07/08/2025: We were in Genoa in August 2025 and discovered this small, unassuming restaurant by chance. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed, and the service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, lovingly prepared, and simply delicious—by far the best we had during our stay in Genoa. A definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates authentic food and warm service.

05/08/2025: What a shame not to have been able to highlight such a setting. The surrounding nature is sublime but the restaurant is a real calamity. We are seated on plastic chairs pressed against each other. The waitress or owner is unpleasant and without any shame makes a mistake of +25% in the bill....What a shame! The porcini mushrooms are swimming in frying oil and the lamb also comes out very badly because of a tasteless sauce that drowns the plate. I do not recommend this restaurant which does not deserve it.

06/08/2025: The boy who served us did a pretty good job, nothing to complain about. The food was mediocre. Appetizers: tuna tartare (too coarsely chopped and not flavorful), Ligurian dishes from the countryside (soft cheese, soft filled pasta, too coarsely chopped sausage), and octopus salad (which was okay). The main courses were all mediocre. The grilled vegetables and fried potatoes were microwaved (I could see the kitchen through an open door, and the microwave chef was very busy). It didn't look very hygienic either. Of course, you pay a bit more because you're right on the sea, but I definitely didn't think it was worth it.

06/08/2025: Breve soggiorno nella bella Lavagna e...tappa d'obbligo da U Brunzin. Questa volta abbiamo gustato tagliolini al sugo di cicale (non facile da trovare) veramente...intriganti, a seguire salmone fresco al forno con contorno e ricciola alla ligure molto buoni. Leggera carenza nel servizio...ma ci può stare. Ci tornerei sempre comunque (specialmente quando fanno la farinata!)

06/08/2025: Cibo normale, la ragazza che serve al tavolo molto premurosa e gentile, purtroppo quando stavamo finendo la caraffa di vino è arrivato uno dei ragazzi, ha chiesto a chi versare il fondo perché aveva bisogno la caraffa?? MA SIAMO FUORI DAL MONDO? Se hai un ristorante compra una caraffa per tavolo? Peraltro non abbiamo consumato altro vino considerato che non hanno contenitori, o potevamo esercitare diritto di prelazione?

12/08/2025: After several years, we returned to this restaurant. It's been taken over by her daughters, and their mother is still in the kitchen. Everything is excellent.

13/07/2025: I visited this restaurant for a couples dinner. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable, and paid the utmost attention to their guests. I found the dishes to be exceptionally high-quality and well-presented, accompanied by excellent wines from their own production. I found the wait staff to be very helpful with any concerns, and the kitchen was also very attentive to requests for food intolerances. A very pleasant evening in the greenery of the Ligurian hinterland, ending with a bill that was certainly excellent considering the quality of the service and food. Highly recommended.

14/08/2025: Pitiful welcome!!!!! Restaurant closed in high season with the campsite full. The staff was borderline dishonest when we came to ask why we couldn't even find a small piece of bread. Upon arrival, there was no indication that the restaurant was closed or a reduction in the nightly rate. So we paid 55 euros for a tiny pitch and couldn't even find anything for lunch. This campsite is rated highly ONLY because of its proximity to the sea. I'm not a fan of reviews, but I find the customer service so poor that I feel it's important to point it out.

23/08/2025: No, the waitress is very rude and aggressive. We had to wait about 45 minutes to order, and in the end, she brought us bread and didn't take our order. Then she took the orders of other customers who came after us and said, "Sorry, I'm alone." In the end, we didn't even eat because we didn't want to wait any longer, so we left. However, we went to pay for the water, and the manager understood us, but we don't want to eat stressfully, and we don't want to wait an hour and a half to order. I repeat, the manager is a very polite and respectful man. We are with friends from America and we wanted to enjoy the food, but this way, we can't enjoy anything anymore.

20/07/2025: We're back in Deiva, and of course, back to the anchovies! I love this place! The food is always excellent! The testaroli are amazing, and the staff is kind and friendly. Highly recommended!

21/07/2025: Nice restaurant on the seafront. We reserved a table the night before because it often seems full. The food is very good: trofie with pesto, paccheri, grilled fish, clams, all very good. The service was a bit slow, and the staff wasn't very friendly in our opinion. Despite this, we had a good time.

01/08/2025: The most generous meal of my life, at more than reasonable prices and with charming staff. Not to mention the setting, which is simply magnificent. I'll happily return. The ingredients are local, the dishes are varied, and the food is Italian just like my grandmothers used to prepare it. Buonissimo!

25/08/2025: We stopped a few nights in Varese Ligure and stayed at the historic Albergo Amici. An excellent experience. The atmosphere is reminiscent of times gone by, yet offers all the modern comforts. The hotel and restaurant staff are extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are clean and fully equipped. The restaurant offers traditional local dishes, prepared with care and an innovative touch. The breakfast is generous and suitable for everyone. Reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

24/08/2025: Clean room. The furnishings were a bit dated. The quick and complete breakfast was excellent, and they serve it early so those traveling don't have to wait.
