04/03/2026: I'm really disappointed, I generally don't like to write negative reviews... unfortunately, the appetizers were a little tired... especially the shrimp cocktail... the sauce was too acidic, almost rancid, almost astringent on the palate... for the second course, I ordered a grilled sea bream, but I was served a fish that was almost boiled, poached. The crunchiness of the requested grilled cooking was practically non-existent and decidedly advanced... as a side dish, I ordered the famous Ligurian artichokes... I was served a dish with an indescribable consistency, full of bones and very tough, I'd say poorly cleaned... unfortunately, I spent the night "in a dream"...

18/02/2026: We were recommended this restaurant for its typical regional dishes, but we were disappointed. We wanted to try the house wine, served in a carafe, and it was awful; in fact, fruit flies were swarming around it. The wait was interminable for a simple pasta dish—45 minutes! I ordered spaghetti alla Bottarga, and I expected at least some pieces of Bottarga, but there was nothing. Just spaghetti soaked in its juices. €20 for three bites of spaghetti is a bit much. Not to mention the presentation; it looked like someone had already eaten from the plate. We had dessert elsewhere. I don't recommend it; it's a tourist trap.

21/08/2025: Easy to get to (less than a 10-minute drive from the coast). Private parking. The interior is cozy and comfortable, complemented by a lovely terrace for al fresco summer dining. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The cuisine is amazing, with both seafood and meat dishes. Everything is delicious, but the capon magro and fish soup are truly exceptional. The wine list is well-stocked and perfectly complements the menu. Excellent value. Simply ESSENTIAL.

22/03/2026: Pansoti with walnut sauce are superb (the photo is of the dish near the end). The atmosphere and cuisine are homely and authentic, with a view from the veranda stretching from San Maurizio dei Monti to the Portofino promontory.

Enjoy a family-style welcome from the friendly and affable owner Pippo and his young, expert staff. Spectacular views of the valley await you, as you savor flavorful dishes and time-honored recipes, such as appetizers with cured meats, vegetable pies, and other delicacies. Hand-crafted first courses include ravioli with ragù and pansoti with walnut sauce, followed by tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, lasagnette, or trofie with pesto. For main courses, the house specialty is a rich Italian-style fritto misto, enough to feed two. Meat lovers will appreciate Piedmontese Fassona tartare, roast beef with herbs, veal with tuna sauce, Ligurian-style rabbit with olives, battered cod with panissette, fried focaccia filled with cheese, fried porcini mushrooms, and more. 04/11/2025: Everything is as it once was, many, many years ago, but perhaps a little more light would be needed, friendly Ligurian-style management, I would say that the portions, being a trattoria, might not be worthy of a starred restaurant.... It wouldn't go to waste, we really ate very little for a village trattoria and paid like a restaurant at lunchtime, the price for a first course, second course without side dish sweet and bitter (offered) and a bottle of Oltrepo Pavese wine is €30 per person. Anyway, I recommend it.

Excellent food, generous portions, and truly high quality. Perfect for a quiet dinner with loved ones.
