Restaurant in the small square of Borgo Castello in Loano, with a magical atmosphere, delicious food, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. A true gem.

It was a wonderful surprise. Tucked away in a courtyard surrounded by historic buildings...a quiet atmosphere compared to the restaurants downtown. We ate very well, and the lady was very kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The outdoor seating in the medieval square is very charming. Friendly service. Simple dishes inspired by Ligurian tradition, well-prepared. Excellent value.

We wanted to try a restaurant off the beaten path. U Piccin is nestled in a small square in an ancient village with outdoor seating. The quality/price ratio is good, but in my opinion the house appetizer could be improved. I'd suggest adding some sweet and sour vegetables, as the combination of flour, frittatas, and schiacciata quickly tires the palate. Otherwise, the dishes were decent, the sea bream and white wine were good. Friendly and helpful service. Reservations recommended.

Homemade, unpretentious cuisine. We ordered Ligurian-style rabbit, grilled undertones, and sea bream. The fresh homemade pasta is a must-try. The service is friendly and welcoming...a quiet Ligurian place where you feel like a customer.

We had the best dinner at U Piccin! Honestly, it’s such a gem. It’s tucked away in this incredibly picturesque little square in Loano out of all that crowded places, which gives it the perfect, cozy atmosphere the second you walk up. The food was unbelievable—seriously, everything we ordered was so delicious. We ended up sharing a bunch of stuff, including the rabbit, ravioli, a veal steak, and the seafood pasta, plus a few different appetizers to start. You can tell everything is fresh because every single plate was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. But honestly, what made the night even better was the service. The staff was just amazing—so incredibly patient and super polite with us, even though we took our time ordering, and translating . They were just so sweet and welcoming, it gave the whole night this really heartwarming, family feel. It didn't feel like a tourist trap at all, just pure hospitality. If you’re anywhere near Loano, you absolutely have to eat here. We’ll definitely be back!

We have celebrated a 50th birthday for a friend here. Everything was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Menu was based on typical Ligurian specialities with arrangements for our vegan friends.
