14/11/2025: I used to go there in 2019 and everything was delicious. Today it's gotten worse; the food is cold and salty, and the quality seems to have gone down. It's a shame.

13/10/2025: Unfriendly service and poor quality food. Okay for waiting for a train or bus, but there are other cafes across the street or on the adjacent shopping street.

30/09/2025: I hate to leave a negative review, but I have to. I used to frequent this bar often, but I'll avoid it. A few weeks ago, I stopped by with a friend who wasn't familiar with it, and he ended up actually liking it. At the bar, we ordered two Cokes at the counter, which my friend paid for, and then two more at the tables outside, which I ended up paying for by card and then we left. We returned a couple of weeks later and ordered more, but when it came time to pay, it told us there were two more Cokes left to pay. It seemed strange to me, so I checked the app, and it showed that I had paid for the Cokes. The girl also confirmed that she remembered me, but she didn't remember my friend. My friend tried to check the app, but unfortunately it didn't work, so to solve the problem immediately, I paid for them without waiting for verification. The next day, my friend accessed the app and verified that the payment had been made, sending me a screenshot. Since I was near the bar getting a coffee, I pointed out, without demanding anything, that perhaps they had made a mistake. The response I got was: "Who's to tell me I created that screenshot?" After a few seconds, I was asked to clear the counter and leave. I didn't bat an eyelid and left. A few hours later, my friend came by, once again not for the Cokes that had already been paid for, but to point out that perhaps they made a mistake last time and that the transaction was valid. Instead of apologizing, they arrogantly wanted to give him his money back and asked him to leave and never come back? At this point, given the incident, I will avoid going back. To err is human, but if you do, at least apologize. I paid for any oversight the day before without any verification and apologized. After verification, I didn't expect anything, but at least an apology to my friend and not for what happened. PS: All things considered, I'm not clear on the absurd situation and I'm wondering: Are you sure the reference table was ours, given that we only ordered two Cokes at that table? But then, why did the problem appear a few weeks later and not when I paid? When I came to pay, should there have been (mistakenly) 4 Cokes listed instead of 2, why wasn't it reported to me? Response to the owner: First of all: I didn't yell at anyone, nor did I take it personally. I simply pointed out, politely, that my friend's transaction had been processed, so I was attacked and kicked out. I politely left without batting an eyelid. Let's dot the i's. I think you're confused: I don't live in Salerno, but in Milan, and I've only been to your bar a handful of times (three this month, and that was years ago). I always pay by card, so it's clear I've never left any open accounts. I've never been chased by anyone to pay: this makes me think you're either confused or making it all up just to avoid admitting the mistake. The problem wasn't the money, but the attitude: instead of apologizing, you reacted with arrogance and unfounded accusations. Without my friend's proof of payment, I apologized and paid without waiting for his verification. After my friend verified that the transaction had been made, I would have expected an apology from him, but that wasn't the case. 28/09/2025: It's a real shame, a new bar treating new customers this way: I walk in and ask for two Cokes. I immediately pay €4 by card. I sit on the stools outside, everything is fine. We order two more, my friend pays €5 by card. A week later (my friend had been there before), we go back. At the final bill, they tell us that a week earlier we left without paying! We show him the two bills on the bank app, and his response? They're fake, who knows what you did. Then, rudely, he says: "Take the €4 and never come back." I've never seen such a ploy, and obviously I left the money there. Truly ridiculous. I'll gladly speak to the owner; I expect a sincere apology, not the rudeness and deceit of his employees.

10/08/2025: Those who serve at the counter should be trained, especially the blonde lady. Not only did she not know how to slice a bit of prosciutto, she also threw it on the paper without a shred of care. When this was pointed out to her, she even cursed at me, perhaps thinking I had a hearing problem.

07/09/2025: Great experience! The beach club is family-run, well-organized, and close-knit. The cuisine is traditional, using quality ingredients. I highly recommend it, especially for its value for money!

23/08/2025: Two miserable sandwiches with cooked ham and one with tomato and tuna for €12! Absurd. Without issuing a receipt... it's only made upon request. Service courtesy and kindness, zero!

26/11/2025: There's a large parking lot for LKW, and there are still spaces after 7 PM on weekdays. There's a shower and toilet in the autogrill, and the toilets are large. They didn't give me the keys to the shower, saying there was no hot water.

01/08/2025: Arrivati ieri sera. Posto incantevole che già conoscevamo, ma come agriturismo non come ristorante di lusso..... abbiamo ordinato tutto per una persona e abbiamo diviso tutto...e menomale altrimenti il conto era doppio.....abbiamo preso un antipasto, una pappardella (2 forchettate a testa) una tagliata ( 3 stracceti ciascuno) , un vino Gragnano (14 euro), un insalata(4,00) neanche mezza busta....un tiramisù tutto diviso in 2 , 75 euro ..... ma la cosa deludente porzioni che all'inizio erano normali adesso meno della metà......siamo usciti che avevamo fame.....delusione......oramai gli agriturismi sono diventati peggio dei ristoranti....ma credo che a lungo andare durino poco perché queste sono prese in giro

03/09/2025: Trattoria just a few minutes' drive from Santa Maria. Excellent prices for a trattoria, and fairly good ingredients. We didn't try the pizza, but we did try the meat.

20/08/2025: They make really good pizza, cooked in a pan over charcoal, so it's a different kind of pizza than the classic one. The vegetable pizzas are especially good. The fried calzones are a must-try. I also tried the charcoal-grilled chicken, and it was a delightful discovery. Reasonable prices.

20/10/2025: Not wanting to go to a restaurant, we decided to grab a quick bite, so we did! The display case wasn't very inviting, but we tried it anyway. We spent 36 euros, and we almost emptied the counter, especially since it was late at 9:30 PM. We asked for everything to be reheated. When we started eating, the food was hard and barely warm! (Of course, we put it in the microwave). Thanks, but we won't be back. Then we wanted to sit down, but we didn't know it had a different price (two of them came to tell us we couldn't and we had to pay something extra). For God's sake, we didn't want to steal your chairs. But the Coke was cold.

14/08/2025: LOOKS GREAT ! My wife and I were back in beautiful Salerno for 6 days....our fav place in Italy. Apart from all the fabulous restaurants, cafes, espresso bars and gelato shops the beauty of Salerno is it's walkability factor. On Saturday we walked from our apartment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Bar Rosa al Corso for delicious mid morning cappuccinos. Directly across the mall we saw this sandwich shop and decided to have a peek inside. Lots of amazing looking fresh made sandwiches & more to go. No seating inside but plenty on the covered outdoor dining area. I bought a bottle of spring water and put this spot on our list for future reference. IT'S ALL GOOD !

01/09/2025: We stop here every year on the way back from vacation, and this year we brought our friends and we made a terrible impression, not to mention the rudeness of the lady at the counter... you do this job, you don't have to be bothered if they ask for sandwiches, but that said, it was 7:30 in the morning and she told us she didn't know if the bread had arrived... then she said it was there, but it was clearly stale bread. We threw the soft, inedible rolls in the bin out front. Next year, we'll go elsewhere.

31/08/2025: I bought a 1kg mozzarella, and it was rock hard and full of holes. It made a bad impression on my relatives. It was sour... thank goodness we didn't eat it.

16/08/2025: Everything was very disappointing. Sandwich filled with substandard ingredients. Fries made with substandard oil. Poor atmosphere and inadequate prices.

11/08/2025: I'm giving it one star only because I can't give it zero. Anyway, tonight we ordered three kebab sandwiches, salad, and fries, and all we got were a few scraps of lettuce leaves, a raw kebab that smelled like a dead squirrel, and fries that were reheated. Basically, €18 thrown in the trash. Thanks, sandwich, for ruining our dinner.

08/09/2025: It's 3 a.m. and I feel sick because the pizza I ate there made me sick. I wonder if you still need to learn how to make a digestible dough?? And yet you worked all summer, who knows how many people were sick. I'm not giving one star because it's not possible. As far as I'm concerned, you can just close down because I'll never set foot there again.
