It's all a bit obscene, starting with the pastry shop and ending with the hot drinks section. It's a shame because the owner is very friendly and polite, and also because the location is enviable, but this is truly level 0.

26/12/2025: It's a disgrace, it took them 23 minutes and 46 seconds to deliver my order even though there were no customers. The staff was rude as always, and the place was full of cockroaches. The bathroom was especially dirty. I hope they close this place down soon and put Burger King there.

23/03/2026: Reportable. My father walked into the emergency room on his own, and is now dying. The medical staff was incompetent, and the doctors left him alone and didn't even bother asking for a transfer to a more suitable facility. Not to mention the patient's personal items were stolen and the beds were broken. I think I'll file a complaint if he doesn't make it out alive.

14/11/2025: The pizza was very thin and in my opinion it could have used a little more salt and also a little more leavening, while the fried foods were very good, the place was welcoming, the service efficient even if unfortunately around there you always find rude people who have no respect for others... but all in all it was a pleasant evening spent there

07/09/2025: We stopped with a group of friends at this pizzeria, which despite its slightly "spartan" appearance, is delicious. The kids had a really well-stocked mixed fried fish (the fries were delicious). We had pizzas with truly delicious ingredients. The salami and ricotta filling I had were truly delicious. It's a shame the dough was a bit heavy, but I repeat, the ingredients were truly delicious. Those in the group who had the saltimbocca were very happy. I tried a piece myself and it was really good. The gluten-free pizza option is excellent. As for the service, it seemed a bit slow on a less crowded evening. In short, a good pizzeria, very good value (prices within everyone's reach), but I would make the place more welcoming.

03/04/2026: I contacted this restaurant through a reservation booking app seven days ago, and they confirmed my reservation for Easter Sunday. I received a call this evening at 10:00 PM saying my reservation had been cancelled, as the lady doesn't consider reservations made through this app to be valid, only phone reservations. I wanted to list: - The rudeness with which she approached me. - The lack of professionalism, using a low-level manner. - The disorganization, because you can't cancel a reservation after seven days.

Without a doubt, in terms of flavor and quality of the ingredients, I consider it the best sushi in the area. SERVICE ⭐⭐⭐ The service was overall good, but there is one important aspect worth highlighting: the language barrier. I believe it is essential, especially in a restaurant open to the Italian public, to have at least one staff member who speaks fluent Italian to facilitate orders, requests, and clarifications. LOCATION ⭐⭐ Aesthetically, the restaurant is simple and lacks any distinctive features. It lacks a strong stylistic identity or details that make it memorable. Another small limitation: the lack of dedicated parking. Parking is only available along the street, which can be inconvenient, especially during busy periods. PRICE ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The price is reasonable for the quality offered. Considering the freshness and quality of the food, the value for money is good. 22/11/2025: A moment of sweetness and kindness! Today my mom and I stopped at this delightful café for a break and were truly impressed! We ordered a hot chocolate for her and a coffee for me: the chocolate was creamy and served with a sweet treat that added a special and thoughtful touch. The service was impeccable: the smiling and kind employee made sure everything was to our liking, making the experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find such courtesy and attention to detail. 12/10/2025: It's not my habit to write negative reviews, in this case I have to. I arrived around 2:00 PM and, rightfully, there were a few people. I asked if we could sit down (two adults and a five-year-old girl). We asked if we could make a plate of penne with tomato sauce just for the girl as soon as possible. One of the staff said let's sit down, so far so good. Shortly after, four more tables arrived. The rushed staff took the last ones first, and when I asked if we could order too, the response was: "Sit down, we're coming today; we're already too stressed." We waited another 30 minutes, but then it was too long and we were forced to go elsewhere. The girl couldn't wait any longer for a plate of penne. Conclusion: at another restaurant, we were welcomed with courtesy and professionalism, and the food was impeccable. Never again at Gifo'

05/10/2025: I'm referring to the response to (pankaki soski's) review. I was there too, and denying the obvious seems unprofessional, especially with the words you used. It's what you call it. If we want to dot the i's, the change was only made for one pizza, namely the stuffed crust. The beers weren't 7-8, but 4. We asked for the candle; you, the person writing this, were obviously not informed! The pizzas are objectively not worth what you're asking for. The review was written with discretion and without offending, as you did. I repeat, it's what you call it based on your response. Ask yourself why there were only a handful of us that Saturday. I came about two years ago, and it wasn't like that; you've obviously changed the pizza maker or the food. That said, if I have to put myself on your level, "you buy it and you come."

10/09/2025: We came one evening with family and sat outside, forgetting that they didn't have any awning lighting (the absence was justified by a storm that hadn't happened recently). They still made us sit in the dark area, without considering that eating in the dark isn't ideal. We even asked for a candle in the center of the table, but we were told they didn't have any. We were asked to move and we sat under the wall, but until then everything was fine. We ordered pizzas and beers (Leffe 33cl for a modest €6, but that was also our fault in not seeing the price on the menu). We waited 40 minutes for the first three pizzas and were alone when we arrived. And then after another 10-15 minutes, more pizzas arrived, while by then the first ones had already gone cold. The next day, in the end, none of us felt well; there was obviously something wrong with the toppings. The crust was nonexistent and crunchy, not like the typical Caserta pizza. The chips on the pizza were burnt and stale, as if they'd been fried first and then reheated in the oven to keep them warm... For 6 pizzas like these and the service, €100 isn't worth it in my opinion. Maybe it's worth trying as a grill and restaurant :|

12/04/2026: Unfortunately, an overall disappointing experience. I don't know where to start, but I'll try to describe my experience in an orderly fashion. 1. Location The restaurant is located in a charming and characteristic setting, consistent with the village atmosphere. However, some aspects of the interior, particularly the restrooms, left me perplexed: access is dimly lit and not very easy, and the general maintenance of the bathrooms could be improved. Some details in the furnishings don't convey a sense of adequate care. 2. Service The service was rather disorganized. The staff, while helpful, seemed to struggle with requests: some orders didn't arrive or were replaced without clear communication (for example, wine by the glass instead of the bottle, bread requested several times but delivery was difficult). Drinks were also not always served in the best conditions. Overall, the timing and handling of requests could be improved. 3. Menu We chose a €25 fixed menu, but it didn't seem worth the price. • Appetizer: Very simple portion of cured meats, with a limited variety compared to what was expected. • First courses: Some dishes were unavailable and were substituted. The preparations were very simple and not always convincing, both in terms of cooking and seasoning. • Second courses: The meat was overall decent, but the preparations were lacking in flavor. Again, some requests, such as salt, were not immediately met. • Side dishes: French fries were very heavy and probably not freshly prepared. • Desserts: Small portions and quality below expectations for a set menu. 4. Timing The experience was very long, with significant waits between courses. We sat at the table for several hours for a full menu. Conclusion Overall, the experience was not satisfactory for the price paid and expectations. I believe there is considerable room for improvement, especially in the organization of the service and the management of the kitchen.

28/03/2026: Typical restaurant with quality products, cured meats and homemade appetizers, fresh pasta first courses and both the owner and her nephew in the dining room were very good, we were there on Tuesday 24 March for lunch, there were 4 of us with a friend of my daughter from Milan who was also enthusiastic, recommended and we will definitely return 👏👏👏

11/01/2026: I visited this place as a guest at a party, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely negative. The appetizer immediately gave a terrible impression: undercooked, almost raw fries, hard and dry zeppole, and a very low-quality croquette. The pizzas were difficult to eat: the mozzarella had a very noticeable sour taste, and several of the crusts were burnt. Even those who ordered a first course (gnocchi with mozzarella) reported an unpleasant odor. The drinks weren't any better: the Coca-Cola served in pitchers with ice was very watered down. Finally, the cake service was perplexing: €2 per person for each plate used and each slice cut, a cost only disclosed at the time of service. Overall, the food quality and service management were far below expectations. I'm sharing only my personal experience to inform anyone who is considering this place.

09/11/2025: Finally, a pizza that's neither soft nor burnt. Authentic pizza, as it should be: thin, holds its shape, easy to digest, good-quality ingredients. Prices are also lower than average. Plenty of parking just steps away. The atmosphere is casual, but I have no complaints about that. I've been coming back often since I discovered this place, and I'll gladly return again.
