22/04/2025: La carne è stata forse il punto più critico: porzioni ridotte e una consistenza secca che la rendeva difficile da mandare giù. Le patate d’accompagnamento erano altrettanto asciutte e tristi. L’unico contorno decente? L’insalata, fresca e ben condita – ma è triste dover salvare un pasto con l’insalata. Il dolce, una pastiera che avrebbe dovuto chiudere il pranzo con un tocco di tradizione e gusto, era insipida e priva di qualsiasi aroma caratteristico. Dubito sinceramente che abbiano mai assaggiato una vera pastiera. Non sono chef, ma cucino da sempre con passione, e sono convinta che avrei potuto preparare un pranzo di Pasqua decisamente migliore. Nota positiva: i camerieri sono stati gentili e la location è gradevole. Ma purtroppo, quando si va al ristorante, è il cibo a fare la differenza. E qui, la differenza l’ha fatta in negativo. Prezzo 40 eur, sarebbe stato onesto se ci fosse stata la qualità e il sapore ma in questo caso Ahimè no.

01/06/2025: Today I had lunch at Zi Nicolina for a First Communion. Following the Kiminasi diet, I had very strict dietary requirements and I was afraid of having to give up the pleasure of lunch... and instead I was amazed! Simple but excellent quality dishes, cooked especially for me, without condiments and served with great care and attention. A special thanks also to the waiting staff, always kind and smiling. I felt welcomed and pampered. Congratulations indeed! I will be back with pleasure. 💛

13/12/2024: I was in this pizzeria last night, I found it by chance while I was waiting for the bus. Extremely friendly staff, they welcomed us in an extremely warm way making us feel at home. We ate delicious home made panzarotti and the pizzas were very good and light, the ingredients were top quality you could perceive them perfectly, thanks for everything we will definitely be back.

06/07/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria Dell'Ulivo in Mugnano del Cardinale was a very pleasant surprise. We had the opportunity to enjoy a complete lunch, from the excellent first course to the tasty second course, concluding with a delicious dessert. All this was accompanied by a good white wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. To end in style, an excellent whiskey crowned the experience. An address to note for those looking for quality and taste. We will definitely be back!

23/06/2025: Cozy location, in addition to traditional pizzas it offers various pizzas with special combinations, good and light dough, it only has good craft beer, perhaps a bit expensive. Very nice outdoor area with tables under a centuries-old olive tree. The fork discount applied.

Carmine the owner is very passionate, and Maria the head waitress is one of the family. I can't wait to return and bring my wife, it's always a pleasure for me to share with her the places where I feel great, unfortunately alone and for work

A welcoming and familiar atmosphere, perfect for those looking for traditional Irpinia cuisine with that touch of authenticity that is getting lost everywhere. The dishes are well prepared, abundant and with an authentic flavor: rich appetizers, tasty first courses, and second courses that taste like home. The desserts are also excellent, simple but made with care. Friendly service and fair timing, honest prices, in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. Overall, a trattoria to recommend to those who like to eat well without too many frills. One star less only because there are still some details that can be improved, but it is still a place to return to willingly.

Olive oil in sachets, even though we are in an area with excellent local extra virgin olive oil. Excessively seasoned first courses.
