03/02/2026: Super fresh fish, but far from the sea. Sometimes it takes very little to find excellent quality seafood, without necessarily eating in a seaside location. This is the case at the Ddoie Aulive restaurant, which, by an oxymoron in its name, promises a meat-based menu, but in reality, seafood is the main focus. Located near the Martiri neighborhood, the location isn't overly spartan, but rather geared toward a classy atmosphere. The house appetizer is a riot of flavors: the shrimp peeled themselves, oysters, prawns, and excellent bruschetta with anchovies: all of the highest quality. Moving on to the first courses, ravioli stuffed with scallops and exceptional prawns. The only thing that didn't convince me was the sea bream, but that was my personal preference. The selection of vintage prosecco is also good. Highly recommended.

25/01/2026: My wife and I spent a pleasant Saturday in Zungoli, a beautiful village in upper Irpinia. The day ended with an excellent culinary experience at the "Rosa" restaurant, which offers a very welcoming atmosphere, traditional local dishes, and attentive, courteous service. We will definitely be back.

17/05/2026: A truly well-kept place, with extremely friendly and helpful service. Great prices, and the local food is truly sublime. I didn't take many photos because I was too eager to enjoy the food. I recommend trying the local food they recommend, it's really good. (Their wine is also very cheerful, the one they recommend.)

The ingredients and the way they're displayed are admirable: you eat very well in this restaurant, and you feel very welcome. The staff are professional, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and every dish is an experience. It's a place I love and I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: Excellent pizzeria, albeit a bit hidden. The place was recently renovated and features a dining room with windows overlooking the surrounding countryside, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset if you arrive a little before 8:00 in the summer months! The pizza is light and easy to digest, and the ingredients are top-quality.

20/05/2026: The pizzas are excellent, as always. But if you're looking for something more, you can choose from appetizers, first courses, and second courses featuring local cuisine. The desserts are also excellent.

15/03/2026: This evening we were at this pizzeria. We sat down at 9:00 PM. There were three of us. We ordered just two croquettes and a pasta frittata, and they arrived after a good 45 minutes. What bothered me most was that from the time I ordered the pizzas, they arrived at 10:30 PM. There wasn't a single diner who didn't complain. In the end, I had to ask for one pizza not to be made because it was getting late for the baby. I don't want to comment on the rest. I hope this criticism will improve both the service and the delivery of the pizzas to the table.

The service was impeccable, attentive, and professional, making it ideal for business settings. The seafood dishes were fresh and beautifully flavored, from the appetizer to the main course. Special thanks to Maria, the dining room manager, for her helpfulness, organization, and courtesy throughout the service. I highly recommend this place for both professional occasions and a quality lunch.

21/09/2025: I had dinner with my husband and daughter at this restaurant. The food was average. But what horrified me was the lack of professionalism. At the end of the meal, the head waiter sent a waitress to ask if we should have dessert, because otherwise we would have to move to another table because ours was being used to extend the table of some of their friends. This was shameful and unprofessional behavior from the head waiter, who didn't have the courage to come personally, continuing to drink wine at another table of friends, thinking he was dealing with idiots. If a restaurant treats its customers in different ways, it's truly untrustworthy. I strongly advise against this place because when professionalism and politeness aren't the same for everyone but are reserved only for friends, it means the place isn't worth frequenting. I advise the owner to investigate this behavior and change it as soon as possible. If you're not friends, stay away from this place.
