Great experience where we ate an excellent pizza

The last time I reviewed Garganta was several years ago, and today I can say that the quality of both the service and the products has not only remained unchanged, but has actually improved! I was there for a birthday party last Saturday and the food was divine; from fried foods to spectacular pizzas, you'll be spoiled for choice because you'll want to try them all. I haven't had the chance or time to try the first courses, second courses, and appetizers yet, but from the photos, they look very inviting, and I'll definitely be back. The restaurant has a modern and very refined design; I personally loved the open kitchen, as well as the pizza corner with the wood-fired oven visible from the street. This makes the atmosphere more welcoming and, in my opinion, engages the guest more deeply in the culinary experience. The staff is made up of numerous waiters and waitresses, from the most experienced to the younger ones eager to get involved and work: I really appreciated the presence of young staff. In conclusion, I highly recommend Garganta, whether for lunch or dinner with friends, a special event, or any other occasion; the staff will help you satisfy your culinary needs. I also recommend making reservations, especially on busy days, to guarantee a table. Although we waited about twenty minutes on a Saturday evening, the wait was more than reasonable. I will definitely return in the future to try the other dishes on the menu.

I'm truly satisfied with the courtesy and expertise, as well as the excellent food. If you go to Avellino, this is the pizzeria you have to try. Even though I ate the daily menu for lunch, I saw some delicious pizzas. Next time I'm in Avellino, I'll definitely go there.

Very cute and welcoming place. The food is excellent; we tried the scialatiello with yellow cherry tomatoes, pecorino cheese, and guanciale, tagliatelle Bolognese, and chicken tagliata. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I've been going to this pizzeria for many years now, which isn't just a pizzeria. Between the fried fish, non-fish fried dishes, pizzas, drinks, and more, I've never had a second thought. Everything is always good, and considering it's in the city center, the prices are low. Parking is always available in front of the restaurant. They don't take reservations on Saturdays.
