27/02/2025: I think it is one of the best restaurants in the area, the kindness, friendliness and above all passion of the owner are alone worth the price of a dinner or lunch. The typical dishes of the Irpinian tradition are a truly important plus. The menu has the right variety, but whatever you choose, you can't go wrong. The prices are also excellent.

The quality of the meat is excellent, with a cut offered in different variations and cooking methods, to satisfy every taste. The starter is truly plentiful, rich in typical local flavours, and accompanied by a good local wine. The staff is friendly and helpful, always attentive to customer needs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the cellar is absolutely worth a visit, with an interesting selection of wines. An added value is the historic butcher's shop attached to the grill, where you can buy excellent quality meat. For those who want to dine on the weekend, it is advisable to book in advance, given the high influx of customers. Recommended experience for those looking for authenticity and taste!

15/02/2025: Recommended by a friend we decided to celebrate Valentine's Day in this restaurant. We ordered some "teodoro" appetizers and a fried dish, they were good but just sufficient in quantity, for example 2 small morsels, 2 slices of salami, 2 slices of ricotta... honestly for 12.00 euros per appetizer I expected something more quantitatively. Different story for the first courses: excellent and abundant. The view from the restaurant is spectacular. The interiors are simple, nothing special, the tables are a bit uncomfortable, at least from my point of view, you can't stretch your legs, the bathrooms are cold.

12/02/2025: A place with a breathtaking view of the valley. Fantastic food, with attention to detail, with genuine local ingredients, with a great variety of first courses strictly based on cheese, porcini mushrooms and truffles, the Genoese one is also very good. The grilled steak is spectacular.

23/02/2025: We celebrated our son's baptism in this structure, I must say that we were really very satisfied. First of all, for the kindness and welcome received from Bruno the owner, and for the passion he puts in every day to make every event unforgettable. We didn't know the cuisine, but we were really impressed by the goodness and the service we received, all our guests enjoyed it from the starter to the cake. Furthermore, we entrusted ourselves with Maria, whose shop is located on the second floor of the structure, for the furnishings of the room, with whom she understood and fully realized our wishes for the decoration of the room, taking care of every single detail. Finally I can tell you that the value for money is truly excellent, by spending the right amount you can ensure a high level ceremony.

22/02/2025: What can I say, the best sandwich ever. Simply excellent workmanship without too many frills. I took the "castrum" (Hamburger and Parmigiana) which was simply perfect. Then when the excellent cuisine is accompanied by kindness, attention to the customer and excellent value for money, it all translates into a perfect evening. I will definitely go back.

22/02/2025: Metto solo critiche perchè di cose buone ce ne stanno troppe: Porzioni di patatine un po’ carenti, mettetene di più perché fa un brutto effetto vedere come le pizze e i calzoni sono più che abbondanti e le patatine super minimal Wagliu il calzone è sgravato, ottimo e pieno di roba 👍🏻 e ho pure la mano grande io

23/03/2025: I was at this restaurant today for lunch with my family. What can I say, everything was excellent😍. Each dish was a combination of high quality and perfect cooking. The service was precise and attentive. Then to brighten everything up there is Rino, a competent and prepared host who pampers you in your choices. I hope to return soon with the rest of my family. 22/03/2025: A circa 4 km dal Casello di Vallata, in una stradina all'ingresso del paesino di Scampitella, si trova questa sorprendente osteria. Ambiente spazioso, confortevole, caldo e accogliente. Siamo stati simpaticamente ricevuti dal proprietario che ci ha attentamente seguito e consigliato durante il pranzo. Abbiamo gustato svariati antipasti tra cui peperoni ripieni, frittata con formaggi locali, peperoni fritti,finocchi al forno, zuppa di fagioli con funghi porcini, cicorielle campestri saltate in padella, vellutata di zucca con mandorle affettate e scagliette di parmigiano, asparagi con pomodorini e aceto balsamico e qui ci siamo fermati nonostante ci fosse tantissimo ancora da assaggiare. Come primo abbiamo ordinato delle ottime tagliatelle ai funghi porcini (locali ma surgelati) e degli eccellenti spaghettoni allo scarpariello. Per dolce un sublime flan al cioccolato, della casa, riscaldato nel caminetto, servito con panna e fragole. Prodotti di qualità a km zero. Tutto veramente eccellente. Servizio, attento e veloce. Prezzi onestissimi. Complimenti. L'Osteria dei Briganti d' ora in poi sarà tappa culinaria obbligata in occasione dei nostri viaggi in A16. Consigliatissimo.
